Rin stared at his sister as she arrived home late.
"What."
"Why are you not in school uniform?"
"I brought extra clothes dimwit. Stop interrogating me." Seiren pushes past him, rushing to her room before closing the door behind her. She sighed. She loved her room more than anything. It held all her interest and everything she has ever liked the past years. Her manga, her figurines, her albums, books she's collected. Her room was filled with pink posters, completely opposite of her dark aura.
Her room was filled with all sorts of whites, pinks, and greens, her favorite colors. Rin popped up into her room, earning a stuffed animal to his face. Did I mention she had a shit ton of plushies on her bed? All to which Rin had claimed were unnecessary and probably uncomfortable to sleep with. Says the one who normally naps on her bed whenever she's not home because he claims her bed is just more "firm" than his.
"Get out."
"What's..your project about?"
Rin finally decides to ask, sitting on the edge of her bed, grabbing a stuff animal that he recognized. Sae had won it back for her years ago when she had lost her original one. He stared at the bear, noticing it had clothes on it. Seiren scoffs. "Stupid love songs. Number 108 had such a stupid suggestion." she threw her bag onto the floor, pulling her desk chair out before sitting down.
Rin and Sae never knew why she called her classmates by their rank number. She always claimed it was just easier to remember than getting their names. Sae thought she might've had a few loose wires while Rin slowly got accustomed to her antics. She's talking about Isagi. "He always has stupid suggestions." he rolled his eyes.
"Mikage at least doesn't have such an empty skull." she said. Rin knew she had some type of respect towards Reo. "Where'd you go?" he then asks her, Seiren glancing at her brother. "Number 108's house?" she questions. "Mom said you come home late everyday." Rin adds on while she groaned out of frustration.
"Why are you so nosey Rin? Just get out of my room already.." Seiren mutters, grabbing his arm to pull him out but he dropped himself on her bed, making it difficult for her to drag him out the room. "No..where do you go Renny." Rin placed his arm over his face before she then grabbed his ankles, pulling him off her bed before he hit the floor.
"Out."
He glares at her.
"Mom made dinner."
Sae pops his head in the room, eyes darting down to Rin then over to his sister before entering her room. "Get out of my room!" Seiren throws her hands over to her face. She then tried pushing Sae out as he kept staring at his younger brother. "Why are you on the floor?" he asks in a concerned tone. "Accepting defeat.." Rin closes his eyes.
"Get out! Out! Dad! Daaad!" Seiren then starts to raise her voice as Sae too, dropped himself on the floor, mimicking Rin's position. "Oh no..my legs.." he says in the most monotone voice until she kicked the both of them before rushing out of her room to get her father. "Dad!" she opened her parents door.
"Seiren..you're too loud.." Ren, her father, was about to sleep when she came in. She heard her brothers start to laugh at her from her room. "Did you eat dinner yet?" he asks her. "No.." Seiren mumbles, kicking her feet against the floor. "Go eat. They'll leave your room once you get back." he says. She rolled her eyes before turning on her feel.
Her brothers were still on her floor. "Why can't you act like this in school and show everyone how even more annoying you two can be?" Seiren said, walking down the stairs to get her food. "How was it Seiren?" her mother went up to her, pressing a kiss on her head. "Fine." her daughter then shrugs her shoulders.
"Just fine?" she laughs. "It's just a project Mom." the seventeen year old grabbed her plate while her mother served her. "Did you go see your friend?" Kei thought her daughter didn't have a friend that she was going to see everyday, that she was just making up an excuse not to be home. "Yeah. We played at the gaming cafe today." Seiren mentions, bringing her fork down to her plate.
Sae and Rin overheard their conversation, immediately getting up. "Friend? She has a friend?" Sae almost laughs. Rin nods his head. "Mom told me earlier. I don't know who it is." he says, the two boys poking their heads out of her doorway to get a better listen.
"You never mentioned this friend's name? Who is this mystery person?" her mother smiled, gently bumping her hip against Seiren's. "He's not that special. We just play games together." Seiren scrunches up her nose, shaking her head. "So it is a boy!" Kei cheered. "You can tell me if you like him Seiren! I won't tell your brothers!"
You tell them everything.
Seiren glances at her. "I don't know his name. Like I said. We just play games together." she lied. Not like it really mattered anyways. She was telling the truth. They really did just play games but she did know his name and she knew her brother's were listening. Seiren also knew that her mother would blabber about it to either Sae or Rin anyways.
Seiren poked at her food as her mom left to go to her room. She brought out her phone, typing away in her messages.

Seiren closed out of her messages before putting her phone down.
"Who's your friend?"
Seiren turned around, staring back at her older brother before throwing her fork at him. She lost her appetite. "What?" Sae said, following her as she started walking back to her room. "Leave me alone." she mutters, glaring at Rin while he stood just outside her doorway, pushing him before closing her door and locking it.
"Mom said not to lock doors." Sae gently knocked, leaning his head against the wall. "Leave me alone!" Seiren pulled her chair out, sitting down before turning on her PC and monitor. Rin carefully glanced at Sae. "I wish people saw how moody she was.." Sae scoffs, walking over to his room.
Rin kept by her door, pressing his ear against the door before earning a kick to the back of his knee. "Leave her alone dimwit." Sae then dragged his youngest sibling to his room before entering his own.
"Can we play ranked this time?"
"No."
"Okay."
Seiren propped her phone up even though she saw his ceiling on her screen. "Number 10, is Number 108 always so weird?" she asks, her eyes glued on her monitor as she broke the chest, equipping her weapons. "Uh Isagi? He's always weird but just call me Nagi or Seishiro. Numbers are weird." he humms, watching her begin to build.
"I guess. Which do you prefer?"
She really didn't know how this weird friendship of theirs began in the first place. All Seiren knew was that she was at a gaming cafe on a school night and Nagi so happened to be sitting right next to her slurping on a cup of ramen. He was really surprised to see her. Anyone from their school would be. Before she knew it, the two slowly bonded over the games they've played and eventually led to her almost screaming at him for "accidentally" kill her.
"I actually..don't care."
"Mkay. Nagi it is."
"But my contact is my first name?"
"Don't question me."
Seiren sighs, pressing her fingers on the keys, biting on her tongue. "I'm hungry.." he hears her say. "Me too. Buy me food." Nagi drove the car the two hopped in, driving his way to a gas station to put more fuel before she got out and ran to get more ammo. "Sure." she shrugs her shoulders and he finally appears in the camera for a few seconds.
"Really?"
"Mm yeah. After this match I'll leave."
Seiren just wanted an excuse not to be home.
"Thanks." Nagi began shooting the other players, Seiren coming to his side to help in. "Shit..my ammo.." she mutters, clearing her throat before switching guns. "What do you want?" she asked him. "I dunno. Too much to think.." The male was severely focused, his eyes wide as he stared at his screen, leaning to close his eyes were starting to hurt.
A few minutes passed by and the word victory appeared on both of their screens. "Mkay. I'm going." she said, grabbing her phone as he did the same. Only the top of his head showed, just his eyes. "Gimme a..uh..an orange soda too." Nagi blinked while she pressed her lips together. "Fine." their call ended and the middle child threw on her sweater before slipping into her shoes.
The second she opened her door, her father stood right outside. "Oh..I thought you were sleeping." she then closes it behind her. "Not when you're yelling on a game.." Ren sighs, rubbing the side of his face as she gulps, hoping he didn't notice that her shoes were on. "Get to bed. It's late and you have school.." Ren mutters, patting her shoulder before turning around, heading back to his room.
"Yeah..I know." Seiren waited until his door closed until she could quietly step down the stairs. By now, it was close to midnight. She knew everyone was asleep because of how the living room lights and the lights under their doors were turned off. The house was dead silent and she remembered where every creak could be heard if she were to step on a certain part of the floor.
Seiren carefully pulled the front door open, going outside before slowly closing it back. She sighed. She hated sneaking out but she loved running off her front lawn, running to her pink bike that was laid against their mailbox. A gentle smile laid on her lips as she rode down their neighborhood street.
Sae usually sat by his window during this time on Fridays. He took the time out of his sleep schedule to study, to catch up on work or to get ahead. Dare I say all siblings were leading their class with their number one rank. Usually by this time, he would watch his younger sister leave and come back until three in the morning.
He sighed, resting his head on the window as she pushed the pedals off into the distance, his eyes never leaving her until she disappeared down the hill. He wondered where she went and why. Sae never heard her door close or even reopen, he would just watch her come back home like she had never left.
"Where are you going Renny.."
