Third Person's POV:
The 37-year-old woman quickly covered her head with the red checkered scarf on her neck as a huge gush of freezing wind rushed through her entire body. Even if she was wearing three layers, it still could not beat Dragonspine's cold temperatures.
It was a dark and clear night. The sky had no clouds, revealing all of the stars above. It was already the winter season, which meant that Dragonspine was double times colder than before.
She sighed to herself as she climbed up the slippery rocky stairs, leading towards the near tip of Dragonspine.
I just need to pick up a few more mints, then I will be able to go back to Mondstadt. She thought to herself, as she found another lone mint planted a few meters from her.
The reason why she wanted to collect these few mints was because of how fresh it is during the winter season. Along with how valuable these mints were, since the stems of these specific mints were golden.
She quickly nodded to herself as she continued up the path towards Skyfrost Nail.
She sighed in satisfaction as she sees a whole bunch of them planted together near the cliff of the mountain. She quickly goes to pick them up, place them in her small wooden basket, and turns in the opposite direction, deciding that it is time to leave.
She then immediately stopped dead in her tracks.
She closed her eyes and lowered her head, trying to concentrate. During this action, the tips of her hair started to glow a bright yellow hue.
What is that noise...?
After a few seconds, her eyes widened in fear.
She immediately sprinted in the direction of the noise, horrified at what it could be.
It sounded like a whimpering child.
She sprinted all the way down to Starglow Cavern and silently passed through the deactivated Ruin Guard. The sound of whimpering was getting louder.
She jumped off the cliff and spread her grey-colored wind glider, as she directed towards the bottom of the cavern, where the whimpering was the loudest.
She reached the bottom floor, took out her torch, and began to search.
After a few minutes, she found a ball of shaking fur in the corner of the entire cavern. She sprinted towards it, and her eyes widened.
It was a child. A six-year-old female to be exact.
The 37-year-old woman quickly kneeled down to inspect the girl.
The girl's brown strings of hair were covering the majority of her face, not being able to see the girl's eyes.
She quickly adjusted the child's position so that she could see what clothes she was wearing.
But before she could do that, a small piece of paper fell out of the fur coat, which caught the woman's attention.
She picked it up and silently read it. It read:
MĪ¹ŌĪ±É¾Ī± MĪ±į§ĻĘĪ¹. 6
... That's it?
The woman looked back at the girl. She did still indeed look like a six-year-old girl, but by the icicles on the fur coat and the ice forming on the girl's eyelids -- preventing her from opening her eyes --, she had been here for at least a few months.
Without hesitation, the woman picks her up and fast-walks out of the cavern, on her way back to Mondstadt.
Time Skip *30 minutes*
The woman hastily opened the door to her house as she sprinted up the stairs, still carrying that same girl.
The ice on the girl had fully melted off, making her, and the woman extremely wet.
She first brought her to the bathroom, where she took off the girl's giant fur coat. Underneath, she was wearing ragged-up clothes that had what looked like blood stains on the back.
Hesitantly, she strips off the girl's top to reveal...
A giant tilted scar that still looked quite fresh. Because they came back from Dragonspine, the blood has melted, making it now pour out.
The woman could not believe her eyes. How is this girl still alive?!
She quickly turned around and grabbed her med kit along with some toilet paper. She took the toilet paper and softly patted it across the girl's back, trying not to wake her up.
After a few minutes of treating her back, the girl's upper body was wrapped in bandages, along with a few other cuts that were found, disinfected, and stitched up.
Satisfied, she quickly found a pair of clothes for the girl to wear, along with a towel to dry her up.
After another 10 minutes, the girl was fully clean. The woman stared at the child with awe. Because of the ice in Dragonspine, her hair was fully frozen, giving off another darker hair color. Looking at her again, she had gorgeous copper hair and extremely pale white skin.
The woman smiled at the girl, who was still sleeping peacefully, and brought her up into the guest room for her to rest the night. She tucked her in and closed the door behind her.
She sighed as she walked into the kitchen, but stopped and stared as the basket, along with the mints, were fully splattered all over the floor.
I was in too much of a rush to even comprehend that it fell...
She picked up all of the mints, placed them in their respective basket, and then placed them up on the kitchen counter. Just as she was about to wash them, a voice sprang.
"Auntie."
She immediately flinched and snapped her head towards the voice. Her body limped as she saw her own son.
"Leon! You scared me. And what are you doing out of bed this late at night?" The woman complained, looking at the 9-year-old boy.
"I saw you carrying someone, who was it?" The male asked as he pointed towards the direction of the guest room where the girl was resting now.
"A girl I found in Dragonspine. She was physically hurt, and was fully unconscious." The mother replied, turning on the sink faucet to rinse the mints.
...
"A... GIRL?!" The male exclaimed, making the mom look at him with wide eyes.
"Yes, a girl! Now please, you're going to wake her up!"
"But mom, I heard that girls have cooties! We cannot let her stay!"
"Well then, how about me? I'm a girl."
"But you're a big one! I'm talking about the ones that are my height or lower!"
"Okay, now you're just being sarcastic--"
The sound of a door creaking open from within the house silents the two family members. They both look in the direction of the noise, and there stood Mayoki in the flesh. With wide eyes, and trembling lips.
