Sitting outside of Tessa's hospital room Y/N, Mike and Stewart all silent not saying a word.

"This is so dumb we need more news. It's been a long wait" Y/N says in frustration getting up from his chair to pace

"I'm sorry Y/N... I can't believe this happened. We were out just...running errands and the car just came out of-"

"Save it I don't wanna hear what you have to say" Y/N says cutting him off in anger

"I understand how you feel Y/N but The doctors are doing everything they can-"

"You don't get it. You don't know what it's like. She's my Aunt so don't stand there and pretend like you under cause you don't asshole" Y/N says getting more and more angry by the moment until Mike stood up

"That's enough Y/N you watch your mouth we all are wishing Tessa to be okay but acting out like this isn't going to help do you understand?" Mike says getting angry himself my his son's tone

"You're right. I don't know exactly what you're feeling. But I care about her too. We should be in this together" Stewart says making Y/N scoff

"Together? You've only been around for how long again? I don't even know if she loves you" Y/N says making Stewart swallow hard

"That's fair. I know it's hard to accept. But she talked about you all the time. She loves you more than anything" Stewart says taken Y/N aback

"Yeah, well, I didn't ask for you to be in our lives" Y/N says Looking away from him

"I understand. She's been through a lot, and so have you. I want to support you both. If she wakes up-" Stewart starts but is cut off by Y/N

"If. I don't want to think about that 'if.' I just want her to be okay" Y/N says looking at Stewart with nothing but anger

"We want that too son. Maybe we can figure out how to get through this together" Mike says Patting his son's shoulder and hearing his father's words calmed him down a bit

"I guess... if we have to" Y/N says to his father but even looking at Stewart and out of Tessa's room came the doctor getting the their attention.

"What's the news Doc?" Mike asked and the doctor didn't speak for a moment

"She's..............She's not waking up" The doctor tells the three gentlemen And Y/N spoke up in rage

"What do you mean she's not waking up? You said you'd do everything you could!" Y/N says in anger

Y/N right?, I understand this is incredibly difficult for you. We're doing everything possible, but-"

"But what? You're saying she might never wake up? You're just gonna stand there and tell me that? How is that even okay?!" Y/N says in anger

"I know it feels overwhelming right now. We're closely monitoring her condition, but it's serious-she's in a coma" The doctor tells them

"Serious? You think I don't know that?, and now you're telling me she could be... gone forever?" Y/N says sadness over shadowing his anger and his voice cracking and Mike walked up to his son and rubbing his shoulder trying to clean him down

"I'm not saying that. There's always hope. Sometimes, it takes time for patients to regain consciousness" The doctor says giving Y/N some form of hope

"Hope? What kind of hope? You can't just give me a pat answer! This is my Aunt we're talking about!" Y/N says in sadness

"I know how much she means to you, Y/N Trust me, I would give anything to change the situation. But I need you to understand that we have to take this day by day" The doctor says

"Day by day? That's not good enough! I want her to wake up! I want her to tell me everything's going to be okay-I need her!" Y/N says now fully breaking down and crying

"I understand. It's okay to feel this way, to be angry and scared. You're not alone in this. We have a support team for you, too" the doctor says as Mike held his son close to comfort him

"W-What if she never wakes up? What if I lose her?" Y/N asked

"That is a possibility we all dread. But right now, we have her here, and we'll hold onto that. You need to be strong,
Y/N She would want that for you"

"Strong? How am I supposed to be strong when it feels like everything is falling apart?" Y/N says

"That's why we're here son to get though this together" Mike says to his son

"Your father's right Y/N You take it one moment at a time. Lean on your friends, let them help you through this. And remember, she's in the best care possible. You're not alone, okay?" The doctor says giving a kind smile

"I just... I can't think about life without her she's always been there for me" Y/N admits

"Then don't. Focus on being here for her, just like she's always been there for you. That's what matters right now" The doctor says

"I just want my Aunt back..." Y/N says in a soft and depressed tone

"I know, Y/N. We all do. Let's take it step by step, together" The Doctor says with a warm smile but Y/N himself didn't smile back as he felt was sadness

The Next Day Miyagi-Do Dojo

Everyone was in the middle of stretching getting ready for today's training

"Has anyone heard from Y/N?" Miguel asked but everyone shook there heads and looked at Sam

"I tried calling him but nothing goes straight to voicemail" Sam tells them

"Man it's just not fair what happened to him" hawk comments

"Yeah but all we can do is be there for him" Miguel says and they all nodded in agreement

"But hey Miguel have you heard You heard anything from Stanford?" Sam Asked but her boyfriend shook his head

"No......I've been checking my emails,
like, every day, but nothing"

"Don't stress. It'll come I mean, Demetri hasn't heard from MIT yet, so" hawk says and Demetri looked at him

"Yeah, I did....I got in" Demetri says surprising everyone

"What?" Both Miguel and Hawk question

"Well, yeah. Why are you all so surprised? I worked my ass off and earned that spot" Demetri says in a cocky voice

"That would be like LeBron James
getting turned down by the Lakers" Demetri says pretending to shoot a basketball

"Congratulations, Demetri It's a really hard school to get into" Sam tells him

"Yeah, it certainly is Especially when you don't apply Right, Eli?" Demetri says looking at Hawk who looked at him with a annoyed expression

"Real subtle" hawk says in a plain voice

"Hey, man, I'm just saying you miss
100% of the shots you don't take" Demetri says as they saw Y/N walking into the dojo already dressed in his GI and they wall walked over to him

"Hey, Y/N! We were worried about you are you okay, How's your aunt doing?" Sam says worryingly and Y/N himself smiled slightly as her worry and hugged her back

"Hey, Sam. Thanks for asking. It's... it's been rough. Still in a coma. The doctors say there's a chance, but..." Y/N starts but not wanting to finish

"Man, I can't imagine. If you need to talk or if you just wanna hang out, we're all here for you" Miguel comments and everyone nodded in agreement

"Yeah, and don't worry about missing training. Your aunt would want you to focus on yourself too" Hawk added

"I just didn't want to let anyone down, you know? I've been trying to stay positive... it just gets hard sometimes"
Y/N says honestly not wanting to lie to his friends

"It's totally normal to feel that way. Remember, we're a team. If you need to step back, we'll support you. Right, guys?" Demetri says

"Absolutely! And we can still train together" Sam says with a bright smile trying cheer Y/N up

"Thanks guys I really appreciate everything" Y/N tells them as they all had a group hug even hawk and Demetri putting aside there feelings to help Y/N

"Imma go warm up I'll see you guys" Y/N waved them off

"Hey Y/N you got a second" Y/N Heard Tory call out and he nodded and walked over to the both of them and to his surprise Tory gave him a quick hug

"Sorry about your aunt" Tory says and Y/N gave her a sad smile

"Yeah man if you need anything where here" Robby says

"Thanks guys but what did you need?"
Y/N asked and the couple looked at each other before looking at Y/N

"Promise you won't tell anyone else?" Tory asked and Y/N agreed without hesitation

"Tory ran into kreese" Robby whispered so only they could hear Making Y/N eyes widen and he looked at Tory with concern

"Are you okay?" He asked her and she smiled at his concern and nodded

"just happy that you're here" Y/N says and Tory smiled as did Robby

"Yeah, well, this is all we have the three of us ya know Everyone else is worried about college, but for us, this is our last chance to win big"

"Yeah, I mean, you've already done something big You won the All Valley" Robby tells his girlfriend who shook her head

"Yeah? It doesn't count Silver paid off the ref" Tory says

"That's a good point" Y/N says agreeing

"It's still better than losing" Robby says

"Hey Robby don't be like that man you're still one of the best Miyagi-Do fighters here so don't let not winning a tournament put you down" Y/N says putting Robby's spirits up

"Y/N's right This is bigger than the All Valley It's gonna be televised all over the world If we win,that's all anyone's gonna remember"

"Tory's Right Robby.......plus I've been meaning to talk to you about something" he tells the two

"What's up?" Tory Asked

"I've been thinking about this for a while and it's been on my mind too but I have this dream... I want to become a Sensei" Y/N tells the both of them surprising them

"A Sensei? That's awesome, Y/N and after everything we've been thought I can see it becoming your dream" Tory says

"Yeah man that's Great" Robby adds patting his shoulder

"Yeah but there's more I don't just want to be a regular Sensei. I want us to be Sensei's together!" Y/N tells them shocking them

"Wait seriously?" Tory questions trying see if he was joking or not

"I'm completely serious" Y/N tells them both of them

Why us?" Robby asked

"Cause it's like Tory said karate is kinda what the three of us have think about guys.mmmmmmWe could create our own dojo one day, teach classes, and inspire others the way Sensei's inspire and taught us" Y/N tells the both of them

"Wait, you really want to run a dojo? That sounds like a lot of responsibility" Robby Says

"I know, but think about it! We'd get to train together, learn more, and share our love for karate with others. Plus, we could come up with our own techniques!" Y/N tells the both of them

"It does sound kinda awesome" Robby admits and Y/N looked at Tory

"I've got to admit, the idea of being called a Sensei is pretty awesome" Tory says and Robby chuckled

"I can see it now: "Sensei Barnes, Sensei Keene and Sensei Nicoles" Robby says getting laugh from Y/N and Tory

"That has a nice ring to it" Tory says

"So are we in agreement?" Y/N asked the two and both Tory and Robby looked at each and smiled

"Yeah let's do it" Robby says

"So no matter what happens after the tournament the three us will stick together and make this dream a reality" Y/N says putting his hand in the middle

"All right. Circle up" they hear Daniel say as everyone lined up

"Hey, ha-have you seen Kenny?" Devon asked Alex who shook his head

"Nah I haven't" Alex answered

"Not since the shitting" Anthony joked

"Probably still trying to clean his pants" Mitch joked

"Hey mind shutting up I bet you guys wouldn't say that if he was here" Alex says defending Kenny making both Mitch and Anthony stop laughing and Alex looked at Devon

"You okay?" He asked her

"Y-yeah I just feel bad for Kenny is all" she says but deep down she felt overwhelming amounts of guilt

"Hey I'm sure he's okay but if wanna talk I'm here okay" Alex says making her blush slightly as he gave her a warm smile

"The Sekai Taikai needs our final roster in three days. And now that we know who's going, it's time for us to name our male and female captains. The captains are not just the leaders of the team. They're the ones that will be fighting in the finals
if we can make it that far"

"Plus, they get to fight on live TV. Who knows what comes after that? Wheaties boxes, chop-socky flicks, ZZ Top videos. Sky's the limit"

"You'll all get the glory if we win, but, yes, the captains will be in the spotlight.

They need to represent the best that Miyagi-Do has to offer. And Sensei Lawrence and I want to assure you
that the decision will be completely unbiased"

That's right. In two days, Sam will face Tory for the female captain spot, Y/N, Robby and Miguel will fight for male captain.

"We all know you fought plenty of times before, but now that we're on the same side, this is still the best way for us
to see who's progressed the most"

"All right, enough talking. It's time to train.
You four, get inside I'm gonna whip your butts into shape" Johnny says to the five but Daniel stopped Y/N from going inside

"Actually Y/N some else what's to personally train you" Daniel says confusing Y/N

"Really who?"

Y/N's father who was in his red and black Gi

"Dad what are you doing here?" He asked his Father

"I was hoping we could do some one on one training" Mike says and Y/N looked at Daniel

"Sensei?" He questions Daniel who gave a nod with a smile

"By all means Y/N he is your father" Daniel says patting Y/N's back

"Alright then let's do it"

Couple of hours Later with Y/N and Mike at a gym

Y/N and Mike where at a gym Mike would go to work out and right now they're in the Middle of a ring

Mike was throwing strikes at Y/N who was blocking his attacks and seeing an opening Y/N stuck Mike in the chest

"That's pretty good kiddo Looking unbeatable. Let's not overdo it let's take a little break" Mike says with a chuckle but Y/N looked like he didn't want to quit

"Are you sure? Dad we can go again"
Y/N says but Mike could tell by his breathing he was tired

"We can in a moment Y/N but taking a rest in important plus gonna rest for fight coming up" Mike says and Y/N let's out a frustrated sigh

"Y/N You're sharper than ever. Okay? The student is surpassing the teacher You got this kiddo both Robby and Miguel won't know what hit them" Mike says

"Thanks. But, uh, that's not really the problem I guess I wasn't expecting all of this stuff to happen with Aunt Tess it's just.....a lot" Y/N says honestly

"I get it Y/N it's a lot to deal with at your age but I'm proud of you pushing though it" Mike says proudly

"But being back here and training
with everybody has been so great it's keeping my mind off of things" Y/N says taking a drink of his water.

"That's good Y/N I know I haven't been the best father but I just wanted you to know I'll always be here for you understand?" Mike says and Y/N gave his father a smile

"Thanks dad.....for being here and now for me"

"Of course.....but hey let's get back to training"

"Yes sir"

The Next Day West Valley High

Y/N and Moon where sitting with Sam and Miguel at lunch

"I've been checking Stanford's websites, and they only accept 15% of the people they defer Fifteen!"

Well look at it this way Miguel Anything you can do between now and April
is only gonna help your chances" Y/N tells Miguel

"He has a point Extracurriculars are huge" Sam says agreeing with Y/N

"They didn't care about the All Valley. Why would they care about the Sekai Taikai?" Miguel Asked

"Maybe because it's Because it's international" Moon says and Y/N and Sam nodded in agreement

"Moon's right It's one thing to be the best in town It's another to be the best in the world" Sam tells him

"Yeah It just means I'm gonna have to fight both Y/N and Robby again" Miguel says and both Sam and Moon looked at their boyfriends with concern but that's when Robby walked over to them

"Hey Uh, have you guys seen Tory?
We're supposed to train at the park later" Robby asked them

"No, I tried calling her earlier but no answer" Y/N tells him

We haven't seen her either but I thought you were coming to the dojo to train with us"

"Well, we figured since we're fighting each other, it would be best not to show each other our moves" Robby says

"Yeah, I mean, makes sense" Y/N says

"You better watch out You're going down this time, El Serpiente and maybe you too Warrior" Robby playfully walking away

"I'm okay.....It does suck but I've learned to live with it"

"Yeah but hey has Devon been off lately to you?" Alex asked his mentor

"She's been more quiet lately if I have the time I'll talk to her"
