A/N: I feel like I've taken a long enough break and am ready to write again! I had some good ideas for this chapter and the next few, so I thought 'why not get back to writing?' I hope the wait wasn't too long, or excruciating, and thank you for your patience!

Sit back and enjoy the chapter!

The soft sound of your breathing could be heard throughout your room. The door creaked as your mother walked in and paused by the door.

'Look at her all snuggled up. How cute! As expected of my precious baby.' She thought.

She quietly moved closer and began shaking your shoulder. "Wake up... you're drooling everywhere."

You jolted awake and spotted your mom in front of you. Your previously tensed shoulders relaxed and you shoved your face back into your blanket. "Five more minutes please... I really wanna sleep."

She shook her head sighing, "Our breakfast will be cold by the time you sleep for five more minutes, more like two hours, and wake up again." You grumbled and reluctantly got out of bed. It was just yesterday that you hung out with Osamu and Suna. To be honest, spending time with people was exhausting. Your social battery was just completely drained and you didn't want to do anything at all today.

You stumbled your way into the kitchen and became more awake at the smell of something good. "What's for breakfast today?" You asked your mother as she brought you a glass/mug of (your fave/beverage). "Ah, it's English muffins with butter, scrambled eggs, and bacon." She answered with a grin. "Ooooh, that sounds delicious! Thanks for the meal!" You excitedly spoke up. You quickly sat down and began to dig in while your mother laughed at your behaviour.

Your mother insisted on taking care of the dishes and you decided to head back upstairs. You wandered into the bathroom to brush your teeth only.  Although it was a lazy Sunday, you managed to convince yourself to take a shower, hair included (I get how hard and annoying it can be). You stood under the shower head that rained cold water on you. It was pretty chilly at first, but you got accustomed to it after a few minutes. To feel like a main character, you leaned your head down, put your arms up by your head, palms against the tiled wall. You made serious, contemplative expressions like people in movies or tv shows during shower scenes. You started spacing out, almost maladaptive daydreaming, but you stopped yourself before you got completely lost in thought. When you realized how stupid or silly you probably looked, you laughed to yourself. Your hand reached to the faucet handle to turn the water warm. Steam began to fill the bathroom and your body began to relax.

After your refreshing shower, you headed back to your room dressed in a towel. Hair slightly damp, after spending some time to dry it. The floorboards creaked ever-so-slightly as your footsteps fell upon them. Pushing your bedroom door open, you step inside.

You'd barely just gotten in when your text tone and phone buzzing caught your attention. Your eyes sparkled like a predator catching its prey and you dove onto your bed to see who texted. You held the phone up to eye-level and read the contact.

'Osamu?'  You thought.

Osamu

Osamu:

I have errands to run, wanna come along?

Delivered 9:32

Y/N:

Sure, why not?

Read 9:33

Osamu:

I'll come by at 10:30-ish

Delivered 9:34

You jumped up from your bed and ran out into the hallway. "Hey mom! I'm gonna head out with Osamu if that's okay!?" You shouted down to her. "Why wouldn't it be? You're always cooped up indoors. It'll be good for you!" She yelled back at you. "Ugh, no need to come for me like that, geez mom." you grumbled stomping back into your room.

Now, all you had to worry about was what you're going to wear. However, picking an outfit is no easy feat. Your mind was already racing with what aesthetic you wanted to channel today because you could never pick. Eventually, you slapped your cheeks, face and hands stinging. "Ow, that hurt like a bitch. Can't believe people in all sorts of media act like it's nothing." Your wrists went limp and you shook out your hands.

'Alright, it's July with warm and sunny weather...'

Your eyes scanned all the clothes in your closet, finger tapping on your chin. Internal monologues on how bad or good something would look. Your hands skimmed across the surface of just about everything until...

'Ah, it's that dress Hiromi made me buy. It's lightweight, won't absorb heat too easily, and... it is kinda cute.' (Refer to "A Trip to the Mall" if you forgot what it looks like)

Before you knew it, your fingers had themselves wrapped around the hanger and was bringing the dress out from hiding. You threw on any undergarments you needed and wiggled into the dress. You stood in front of your full-body mirror twirling and watching the dress flow.

'Not bad, I guess.'

You moved onto your hair next. (You can leave it down, put it up, style it, do whatever you want with it!) You then sat down at your vanity staring at your reflection. To wear makeup or to not? (The choice is once again yours!)

You grabbed your phone, wallet, keys, and earbuds, throwing them into a random bag. You exited your room and headed downstairs. Your eyes flashed to a nearby clock, it read '10: 26'. You walked to the door, putting on a pair of (shoes of your choice). "Hey mom, I'll be going now!" You heard shuffling in the living room and a reply from your mother came soon after. "Alright, see ya later. Stay safe."

The door made a 'thud' as it shut behind you and you lifted your gaze. Only, it was met with an expressionless stare from a pair of familiar grey eyes. "Oh, Samu. Hey!" You greeted him with a cheerful expression. You noticed he wore a black t-shirt and white sweat shorts with black Vans. The corners of his lips turned upwards slightly, "Yeah, mornin', you ready to go?" You nodded and he started leading the way. "By the way, what do you even need to get?" You asked. He glanced down at you and looked back at the sidewalk ahead. "My mom needed some groceries for dinner and some toiletries too." He spoke softly. You hummed in response.

The two of you headed to the nearest bus stop to get to the train station. During the short walk, you and the grey haired boy talked about random things to take your mind off the slightly loud thumping of your heart.

You stepped off the train with Osamu following you. You were thankful that he was there to fend off any creeps. You stretched a bit since the cart was fairly packed. "Thanks for covering for me." You joked, but meant it sincerely. "No problem, yer my best friend after all, aside from Suna." You just nodded in response and kept on walking with Osamu at your side. When you made it out of the subway station, you were met with a bustling shopping district. There was a supermarket not too far from where you two stood, as well as many other stores littering the street and even a mall.

"We'll need to go there first right?" You questioned pointing at the supermarket. Osamu's eyes followed where you were pointing to and he nodded.

The sliding doors beeped as you and Osamu stepped out of the building. "I'm getting hungry, let's get something to eat. My treat." He said. Your head whipped to him. "Huh? no way! I can pay for my own food." You refuted eagerly. "Nah, I'm the one who dragged you here. I'm paying whether you like it or not." He argued with a smirk. "You-" You started but got cut off. "To make it fair, you can choose what we're eating." You shoulders slumped in defeat and you breathed out a sigh. "Fine, let's eat (fave/food or, at restaurant/name)." The grey haired boy looked at the shops nearby after hearing your decision. "Ah, look, it's a (fave/food place or, restaurant name)." He gestured his thumb in the direction.

After filling your stomachs with a delicious meal, you headed to a cafe for dessert. "Samu, how about this one?" You entered the nearest one, its cozy and neat appearance attracting your attention. The cafe wasn't too busy so the two of you got in line. Soon enough it was your turn to order.

"Hi, welcome to (cafe/name)! What can I get for you?" The woman at the counter asked.

"I'll get a/an (fave/drink) and a small slice of (fave/cake)." You answered, thanking the gods you didn't stutter or say something stupid. "I'll have an iced Americano and a slice of tiramisu." Osamu added to your previous order.

"Alright, it'll be ready soon. You lovely couple can take a seat right over there." The woman insisted sweetly.

'Huh??????'  Your brain.exe stopped working. Your face flushed such a rosy pink, it was comical. All of a sudden, it hit you just how much everything you've done so far today, totally would look like a date to anyone else.

Unfortunately you couldn't correct the lady as she was already busy making your order. You stood dumbfounded and in the way of the person next in line. Osamu, quite literally, had to drag you to the table.

"Hey....Samu?" You asked quietly.

"Hmm?" His chin rested on the palm of his hand as he looked out the window.

"Why didn't you get her?" You sputtered out.

"She would've said something like 'Oh, no need to lie. Ah, young love...' or something like that. Plus, it's not like she even gave us a chance to deny her statement."

"Yeah, I guess you're right."

The wait wasn't long and you both received your drinks and complementary sweets. "Here you go! Enjoy!" the server placed the items on the table. "Thank you!" you smiled to the server and they returned the gesture.

You took a sip of your drink and relished in its flavour. 'Ahhh, how refreshing!'  You cheerily bobbed your head. Moving onto the cake, you picked up the fork and sliced off a piece. You placed it in your mouth and your taste buds felt as if they were in heaven. "Gosh, this is why I love (fave/cake)!"

For a moment, you actually forgot Osamu was sitting across from you, enjoying his dessert. You took a peek at him and his eyes were sparkling. Not only that, but he even had a childish smile painted on his face with lightly blushing cheeks. He always looked like that whenever he truly enjoyed some food.

"How's your tiramisu, Samu?"

"Hmm? Ish goo (It's good)!" He exclaimed with his mouth full.

"Slow down, you'll choke." You joked.

"By the way? Can I try your tiramisu? I'll let you have some of my (fave/cake)." You offered.

"Oh, sure." He spoke clearly this time, mouth not full of cake.

For some reason, you got reminded of your younger days with the Miya Twins. You guys would always share and trade snacks in elementary school. Osamu often fought with Atsumu on who would get what from your trade deals. Of course, Hiromi was a participant of this over-the-table (get it, cuz it ain't under-the-table) activity as well. However, she often got punished for giving away her food to the rest of you. So she could only laugh at the exchanges between you and the twins.

'Goodness...those two must not see it yet. They deny being a couple, but they sure look good together. I wish those two well.' The woman behind the counter thought, a soft smile spread across her face.

Your hands met at your lower back, holding onto the strap of your bag. It was mid-afternoon and the sun shone brightly. You were now taking a walk in a park with Osamu, enjoying the summer sun. Akashi Park (You can look it up! I did research for this, it's in Hyogo Prefecture and it looks so pretty) was known for its beautiful cherry blossoms in spring, but just because it's summer, doesn't mean the scenery is lacking.

The lush green leaves on the trees swayed with the wind. The passing breeze was cooling and pleasant. "You know...." Osamu started. You looked over at him with a curious look. "What's up?" He glanced down at you and nodded to himself. "That dress suits you." His words echoed in your mind.

'OH'  Your face flushed deeply and you looked away to hide the evident blush.

"Oh, haha... thanks Samu."

He stayed quiet and the silence was suffocating.

"Actually, I got this when I went shopping with Hiromi. She insisted that I get it when she was buying clothes for herself at a store she likes." You rambled on making awkward hand gestures and constantly looking at him for a reaction.

His eyes widened ever-so-slightly and his brows raised a smidge. "Ah, now that you mention it, it does look like something she would wear."

"But, these kinds of clothes look good on you too." He added.

In that moment, you wanted nothing more than to die, or hide. Your heartbeat sped up and it rang loudly in your ears. You were worried that Osamu could hear it from how loud it was.

Your head was turned away but your blush was visible on your ears too. Osamu's eyes drifted to the side to catch a glimpse of you. You missed how his blank stare turned into a silent, but pleased chuckle.

A/N: I hope this was good enough! I'm too tired to edit this properly and will edit all the chapters once I finish the book so that they are more professional (if I feel like it). I was just really excited to get this chapter written and out. I've been writing for 3-4 hours now. It's like 12:00am right now, gotta sleep.

Anyways, thanks again for reading!
