FAITH WALKED WITH her sisters, sam and colby, and the triplets. she was directly beside matt as the sound of the old wood creaked after every step. it was chilly, due to the wind seeping through the old walls of the house.

sam and colby had rempods sat around the house, and occasionally they'd go off which caused faith to jump a little and matt immediately put a hand on her waist.

currently, nick had a set of headphones on and a blindfold on as he did the estes method. he'd say things like "leave" or "go" which was him repeating what he heard from the spirit box.

faith wasn't that scared, but she was lowkey hating how creepy the place was. the night went by quickly, matt and faith holding hands or touching in some way basically the whole night.

the girls and triplets didn't get back to their hotel until 4am, and all of them were beyond tired. faith walked beside matt into the hotel, everybody else in front of them.

"did you like that?" matt asked, referring to the video. he had his arms crossed as they walked, staring at the ground.

"it was fun," faith nodded, looking over and up at him for a second. "scary though. you get scared?"

"nope, but i know you did." matt nodded, looking over at her with a small smirk.

"i wasn't that scared." faith rolled her eyes, looking away from him. "that spirit box was nerve wracking though. nick kept saying scary ass stuff."

it was silent for a minute as they walked towards the elevator. as soon as they got inside, they stood with everybody. faith was in between matt and forest, as the elevator went up to their floor.

"you look like shit," matt said whenever they exited the elevator, noticing how tired faith looked. faith looked at him sarcastically, rolling her eyes again.

"oh thanks. kindness is key," faith shook her head, looking ahead of them as they walked towards their separate rooms.

"i'm kidding. you always look great, faye." matt said, as everybody walked into their rooms, excluding matt and faye.

"no need to tell me, baby. i know." faith shrugged with a small smile, knowing matt would get annoyed with the name.

"you're so gross," matt rolled her eyes, stopping in front of her as she stood with her back towards her hotel room, looking up at him. "we were having a moment and you ruined it, weirdo."

"i didn't ruin it. i made it better," faith shrugged, looking up at him with crossed arms.

"whatever you say, buddy." matt rolled his eyes, looking down at her. he couldn't help but let his eyes go from her eyes to her lips for a second.

"what? do i look good?" faith asked, raising an eyebrow at him.

"flawless." matt said, shrugging. half serious and half sarcastic. "but don't be cocky."

"wasn't trying to be, ba-" faith was interrupted. matt leaned down and closed the distance, making her shut up immediately and shut her eyes.

the kiss lasted a good fifteen seconds, before matt pulled away and looked down at her. "now go to bed. it's like four in the morning."

faith just stared at him, having no idea what to say to that. she nodded eventually, and turned to open her hotel room, walking in and shutting the door.

short chapter i'm sorry!!!!

i have the last few chapters planned out, just not wrote out.

i'm gonna try to publish but daddy i love him chapters every friday, and breakfast in bed every wednesday!

i AM going to school every week so it will definitely be difficult to do that

but daddy, i love him should end (if i publish every week) on april 18 😕
