You were the younger sister of Becky and have been traveling with her and your grandmother for the longest time.

You and Becky looked at all the places you haven't been to on the map and realized that one of places you really wanted to go to was one of them.

"I guess we will go there" becky says placing the map down.

All of a sudden the vehicle stopped moving and smoke began to come out of the hood

You and becky hop out of the truck along with your grandma.

Your grandma opens up the hood being suffocated with smoke,letting out a few coughs she examines the engine

"It looks like it's missing a part,I don't think there is a town near here" your grandma states

You look up and see a huge water tower in the distant that read endora

"Grandma look!" You point out the tower

Your grandma acknowledges the tower and gives a slight smile

"Well my dears I think were gonna have to camp out in this meadow until I get a new part for the truck" your grandma closes the hood.

2 days later

You decided to go into town and explore. So you hop onto your bike and begin riding off.

Once you get into town you realize there isnt really much to offer here.

You decide to go into the grocery store hoping they might have some candy. Once you enter the little bell goes off above the door making a boy around your age with sandy blonde hair and blue eyes turn his attention to you.

He stopped eating his licorice and gave you a grin and began waving.

You wave back with a smile on your face before heading over to the rack of candy,which had jars on top of it filled with more candy.

The boy rushes over to you making you giggle

"Hello"you say giving him another smile

"Hello,my name i-is..." he stops himself and begins thinking

"His name is arnie" a guy stocking shelf chimes in

"Yeah my name is arnie" Arnie says proudly

"I'm y/n"

"Cool...are you gonna get gum?" Arnie asks scratching the back of his head

"Maybe" you give him a playful smirk

You could tell arnie was different,but that didn't bother you.

"What candy do like arnie?" You ask

"That one" he points to the licorice in the jar.

You take a few pieces of licorice out of the jar and grab some y/f/c. You head over to the counter where an elderly couple stood discussing something.

You place the candy on the counter and the older man tells you the total.

"That will be $2.50 please" you reach into your small change purse and fetch out the exact amount of money and place it in the man's hand.

"Thank you have a good day" the old man says giving you a small smile

"Yeah you too" you return smile but before you leave you walk over to arnie and hand him the licorice you picked out

"Arnie what do you say?" The same guy stocking shelf asks

"Thank you thank you thank you" arnie cheers

"Anytime,see you later Arnie" you smile and leave the store unwrapping y/f/c and popping it into your mouth

A small boutique catches your eye and you decide to look around. After twenty minutes of browsing you leave the store with a pair of cute sunglasses on your face.

Then you see someone climbing the water tower. You quickly rush over to the tower to get a closer look and to your surprise you see Arnie climbing it

"Gilbert I'm going higher then before!"arnie calls out

The same guy who was stocking shelves comes running out of the store and grabs the surrounding police officers megaphone

"Arnie get down!" Gilbert calls out

Arnie laughs not understanding that he might fall off the tower.

After a few tries you could tell Gilbert was getting frustrated so you ran over to gilbert and grabbed the megaphone

"Hey arnie it's me y/n,can you come down here?!" You ask calmly through the megaphone

"Ookay y/n" arnie responds starting to climb back down

"Good job buddy" you smile and the crowd cheers and claps as arnie finally reaches the ground.

"Hey thanks" Gilbert says to you before running over to arnie.

You watch as Gilbert hugs arnie. Gilbert and one of the officer's exchange a few words and Gilbert and arnie begin heading back to lamson's grocery store.

But arnie ends up running to you

"Gilbert I can watch him" you call out to Gilbert. He nods and gives a small smile before going back into lamson's

Just then a few kids grabbed arnie by the shirt and threw him to the ground.

You rush quickly rush over to arnie who was being hit by a bunch of kids

"Hey assholes leave him alone!" You yell making the kids run off

Arnie was crying and had a few scraps on his arms and face

"Oh you poor thing" you soothe sitting down on the ground beside arnie wrapping arnie in a hug

"C'mon lets get you cleaned up" you say softly helping him get up.

You and arnie go back to your little setup in the meadow and call for your grandma to bring the first aid kit.

You and arnie sit on the picnic table and you begin cleaning his wounds gently.

"No one is gonna hurt you like that again" you say placing a band-aid on his wrists

He nods with a sad expression.

"Hey don't be sad" you cup his face with your hands

"Wanna go play?" You ask making him smile

Arnie and you climbed trees all day and played in the small pond that was near

Eventually you and arnie got tired and layed down in the meadow looking up at afternoon sun

"Y/n, do....do you hate m-me?" Arnie struggles to ask the question

"Of course not your too sweet"

Arnie giggles making you smile at him. From then on you and arnie became extremely close.
