And it was at this moment, he knew, that he was irresistibly, utterly, impeccably, doomed by her, and he didn't mind it one bit.

     OKAY, SO LEE FLETCHER, by some miracle, managed to get Mr. D's permission to get out of camp with Ariadne for a date. Now, you may ask: how? Even Lee himself doesn't know.

     ( actually, he kinda has a suspicion that it's because Mr. D hopes they die during the date. )

     Anyways.

     He also managed to get a 'yes' on the date from the said woman— thank goodness, 'cause it would've been extra embarrassing if she said no — and they planned it to be in three days— AKA the morning after the chariot race. The both of them decided to keep the news low, but that decision fell to Tartarus faster than Zeus cheating on Hera due to two reasons.

     One; Lee being—well, Lee, managed to unsubtly make himself an idiot by smiling so widely the whole day that it probably looks painful.

     Two; His siblings—more specifically, Kayla Knowles.

     "So, my favorite step-brother—" She started, only to be cut off with a 'hey!' from Austin. Rolling her eyes, she threw her flip-flop at him and went back to Lee, "why are you smiling like you're on drugs? Wait—are you on drugs?!"

     "What—no! Of course I'm not on drugs— what the hell Kay!" He replied, eyes wide.

     "Then why are you smiling like that?" She asked, rolling her eyes.

     "I'm not supposed to tell you, you idiot."

     Ah well, time skip to like, an hour, and the pressure from all his siblings manage to take the truth out of him. Frick.

     LEE HAD PRAYED TO ALL THE GODS AND GODDESSES ABOVE by the second hour. Ashley and Eleanor, his half-siblings, kept on berating him with questions, and he just wants to end his own life right now because of this. ( jokingly, of course. He has no intentions to die anytime soon! )

     Thank everyone that he managed to escape their grasp, running away from the golden cabin. He sighed happily as he reached the door to Hestia's cabin, but that smile quickly turned upside down once he heard a wailing sound inside. He knew he should have given some personal space, considering that they both agreed that no matter how close they are, personal space was important. Yet, the feeling of leaving his significant other to her weeps and sorrows were too much for him.

     Lee opened the door slowly, seeing the dark haired lover on the bed, wiping her eyes quickly. He closed the door, only going to her once she gave her nod of approval. 

     Ariadne remained looking at her hands, even as he moved the hair away from her face. He sighed after not getting a response. Lee knew that sometimes, Ariadne would get nightmares - or as she calls them, visions - about something he does not even know. She wouldn't tell anyone what they are, and he respects her unwillingness to not tell him. She'll tell him when she's ready, after all. 

     "Sorry," She said abruptly, breaking the silence.

     "What?" He responded, confused as to why she apologised without reason.

     "All I seem to do is cry around you, these days. It's stupid."

     "It isn't, my love," He said softly, kissing her forehead, "crying has nothing to do with stupid."

     She smiled, not knowing how she got someone like him, when all she ever brought was tragedy.

Hey, loves! It's been so long since I last posted, 
so sorry about that hehe~

Anyways, my original chapter is taking way too long
to write; considering i'm never happy with it, so 
this is a short filler chapter for you guys!

I don't exactly have a straight plan to what will be
 published, but I'm pretty sure that 'Savior, Jason Grace'
and chapter V of this book will be posted over the next 
few days/week.
