With that, he clopped out of the building and down the hall, Tyson calling after him, "Pony! Don't go!"

Perspective: Third Person
THE CHARIOT RACE WAS NOT SOMETHING Ariadne would ever recommend. 'Three deaths and twenty-six mutilations' As quoted by Lee when Tantalus first broke the news.
Ariadne was about nine years old when it got banned after a Demeter kid died in one of the rounds. She could still remember the blood and screams when the fifteen year old boy fell out of his own chariot and hit his head. She could still remember crying at what she had seen, she could still see the way the boy's body stayed in an unnatural way, and she could still hear the sobs as she provided the fire to burn his body. Llewellyn AlvΓ nome. A great friend, a promising student, and a person who smiled till his last breath.
By the following three years, he was almost forgotten by everyone, as that was what he was to them. Just another unimportant soul lost, but Ariadne could never forget the last words he told her before his soul disconnected from his body. She could never.
And so, the following sunset, she sat in front of a small grave carved with tiny flowers, a bouquet in her hands filled with white lilies. It was near the camp borders, just outside the strawberry fields. Simple yet beautiful, just like him.
She didn't know how much time has passed, but as the last of her tears dried off, she could hear footsteps coming. Even as the sounds got near, she never took her eyes from the gravestone, a bittersweet smile on her face as she hugged her flowers closer.
A minute passed.
And another.
Finally, the intruder spoke first, "You'll freeze yourself to death, Hearthstone."
She finally looked up, only to see his blue eyes piercing her own. They held their stares for awhile before she heaved a sigh, breaking the contact first and lowering her eyes as another tear slipped out of her eyes.
"There was just so much blood," She whispered, her voice shaking slightly.
He didn't even pause before giving her his shoulder to cry on, his arms hugging her form. She buried her face into his neck as another wave of tears fell, wetting his shirt as the bouquet was long forgotten.
"It'll be alright," he murmured gently as he caressed her cheek, "it'll be okay one day."
She could have only hoped.
LEE FLETCHER WAS A CERTIFIED SIMPβor at least, that was what his siblings said of him. He was quite pissed on the fact that his father could be the god of a gajillion things, yet having good luck on his children's love life isn't one of themβ No disrespect to Aphrodite and Tyche though, they are quite alright with their jobs. Perhaps it was why he prayed to Aphrodite last night, βthough he would have never admit it β he just needed some sort of luck on what he was about to do.
As they sat near the lake β he brought them there to try and take her mind off Llewellyn β he brought himself to look at her. Like, really look at her for the first time in awhile. Her hair looked a bit auburn in the sunset, but they were usually brown. No, they did not look like the light chocolate kind of brown or the dirt kind of brown, but rather, like those fancy dark chocolates sold in those factories. He really wanted to know her hair routine. Her cheekbones were defined and she held a small smile as she stared at the sunset. But those weren't the features that he loves the most. No, it was her eyes that pulled him in the first time. He almost had a field day when she told him her eyes were a boring, plain brown, and that she kind of wished she had another pupil color; he thought they were mesmerizing. You see, because every time he looked into her eyes, he could see a never-ending fire that not only radiates her fierceness, but also manages to give you a warmth that tells you that everything was going to be alright, and you couldn't help but believe her. Every time he looked into her eyes, he couldn't help but think that they were the color of the earth, which held the most beautiful riches underneath, yet also the most lethal. Every time he looked into those eyes, he could see the earthquake brewing underneath them and he knew that those earthquakes can bring mountains to their knees, just like she could bring him to his own if she wanted to. So fuck clichΓ©s about drowning in your lover's eyes, earthquakes were more lethal and they're the ones that start the chain for tsunamis in the first place.
Because she wasn't even just a queen to his own eyes anymore, she was a motherfucking goddess.
He let out a breath he didn't know was holding as he blinked, a sudden movement in his hand pacing him out of his thoughts. He looked down only to see Ariadne intertwined their fingers, making him blush lightly.
"Lee."
He jerked his head up to meet her beautiful eyes, and he could see her smirk as she made him even more flustered.
"Y-yes?"
He cursed everything except her in his head as he stuttered.
"Do I make you nervous?" She asked almost too innocently as she neared his face. He swore that even his father could hear his heartbeat as he let out a strangled noise.
"No!" He shouted a bit too quickly, "IβI mean, no. No, you don't make me nervous."
She rubbed her thumb on his wrist before pushing her fingers lightly on his vein and smirked.
"Then mind explaining your fast heartbeat, won't you?"
If his face didn't look like a tomato before, it would've now.
"Iβno, noβmy, my heart isn't going fastβI mean it is! But, but you don't make me nervous! I mean-only a bit, okay so maybe a lotβlike, really lot but still. YouβIβno, no heartbeat. No, I...Iβ"
She chuckled slightly, before leaning forward, their noses almost touching as he crumbled into her eyes, and he swore he could even feel her breath near his lips as she looked at him intently.
"Tell me to stop," she whispered.
There was a tense silence as I looked at her, and he swore to his last days that he would never say no to her.
"Don't stop."
And she smiled, before leaning in, her lips on his.
And it was at this moment, he knew, that he was irresistibly, utterly, impeccably, doomed by her, and he didn't mind it one bit.
