*** Trigger Warning ***
small mention of selfharm.
18 weeks.
Ally stood outside the doors of the mental facility and sighed. Jaden was behind those doors. The boy she loved more than anything.
She grasped the small door handle and pulled it open, walking through and smiling at the guard. As she walked up to the counter.
"Visitor for Jaden Hossler." She spoke.
"I see, miss Reeves is it? Im just gonna ask you to leave your phone and whatever purse or keys you may be carrying in locker seventeen." He said, handing her a visitor badge as well as a locker card.
After being buzzed in Ally stepped through the door and she waited as a nurse smiled at her. A few of the people smiled at her and she waved.
"You're quite pretty." A girl complimented.
Ally smiled softly when there was a small tap on her shoulder. She turned around and instantly hugged the person who had poked her.
Jaden.
Jaden held her tightly, letting out a loud sigh of pain and relief. Ally held onto him tightly and a few years escaped her eyes as Jaden took in the smell of her perfume.
"I missed you." He spoke softly to her.
"We missed you." She replied, referring to the small baby in her growing stomach.
"How hard has it been?" He asked.
"Eh, Chase has been there almost everyday. He cooks. He does the laundry. He bought groceries the other night." She replied.
"I meant how hard has she been?" He asked, placing a hand on her belly.
"She likes to love alot. Especially around four am. her favorite food is sweet potatoes. And she hates spicy food." Ally smiled.
Jaden smiled softly.
"Ah Mr.Hossler, this must the beautiful Allison you're always talking about." An older male doctor smiled.
"Yep. Doctor Brock meet Allison. Allison, meet Doctor Brock." Jaden says.
"It's lovely to meet you. This boy never hushes up about you. The way her eyes glisten in the sun. The way she sings in the car." Doctor Brock spoke.
Ally awe'd and smiled a bit.
"Jaden tells me you're his saving grace. His hope. His promise to get better and be better." Doctor Brock says.
Jaden held onto Ally's hand as they waved goodbye to doctor Brock and found a seat near an empty area. Jaden sat down and Ally sat next to him, his hand resting in hers as she leaned into his shoulder.
"It's quiet today." Jaden whispered.
"I like the quiet sometimes..it helps you think." Ally smiled.
"I think alot actually. About everything. About how different my life would be if I didnt have you, or Promise. Or even Anthony." Jaden said.
Ally felt a sting in her heart as she heard her brother's name. It had only been a week since he left her but she was still sore.
Sore from crying. From screaming for help. From the newly added lines on her legs. Nobody knew about that. Nobody would ever know about that.
Ally yawned and Jaden sighed. It was almost five and it was a four hour drive home for Ally. He didn't wanna let her go but she had to.
"Baby, you should head home. It's a long drive." Jaden says.
Ally nodded and they stood up. He hugged her for what seemed to be forever. He leaned his forehead against hers and sighed.
"I wish I could kiss you." Ally said.
Jaden looked over at the nurse and the nurse sighed. "Fine. But just this once." She said.
Jaden quickly kissed Ally, trying to keep it going as he knew it would be awhile before he got to do it again.
Ally pulled away, said a simple I love you and then exited the facility, a smile on her face as Jaden stood there, feeling his lips and sighing.
"You really love her huh?" The nurse asked.
"Of course I do." He smiled.
"I give everything I have to her. The girl I love. She deserves that." (Will Newman, Five Feet Apart.)
