When the group entered the living room they noticed a whole bunch of New Years' decorations. 

[ Example ]

Zuko - Wow Uncle the house looks so nice

Uncle - I know it's not much but I hope you guys like it

Suki - It's amazing

Aang and Katara walked over to the kitchen where they sat down at the table drinking some tea and eating sweets. Zuko walked around with Suki behind him as he showed her the house.

Toph and Sokka were on the couch laughing about something when Iroh noticed them, He walked over and sat in between them talking with them before Toph got up and offered to get them some drinks.

They both agreed and Toph left the living room leaving Sokka and Iroh alone, Iroh nudged Sokka's arm smiling at him.

Uncle - She liked you back didn't she?

Sokka - Yeah something like

Uncle - Well I'm very happy for the both of you.You guys are twin flams

Sokka - You think so?

Iroh - *Chuckle's* Oh son I know so

By now Toph came back with the drinks and handed them off to their person, Toph then sat down next to Sokka resting her head on his shoulder.

Sokka kissed her on the forehead as Iroh watched as the soulmates spent their lovely time together, Iroh then left them by themselves to go look for Zuko and Suki.

Toph - Sokka

Sokka was off looking into Toph's face mesmerized by the beauty that came from here. But like always Toph didn't like the silence because made her feel like something was going and she didn't know.

Toph - Sokka!

Sokka - Sorry Toph, What do you need?

Toph - Anything but pure silence

Sokka -Oh right, could I describe the decorations for you?

Toph - Nah, tell me that time in high school when you got your butt whooped by a bunch of girls in soccer

Sokka - "Girls?" You mean yourself ?

Toph - Hey I can't take all the credit, You helped me out by being bad at Soccer

Sokka - fine, I'll tell the story from the beginning

Toph - Yes!

Toph rested her head on Sokka's shoulder as he began to tell the story of the time Toph has beaten. Sokka at soccer.

Iroh finally found Zuko and Suki who were outside looking at Iroh Little pound full of fish, Iroh joined them so he could get to know Suki more.

Which he enjoyed and thought she was a perfect match for Zuko, unlike his gloomy girlfriend he had in high school called Mai.

Aang and Katara finished up eating and headed over to the living room where they sat on the couch across from Sokka&Toph.

They found the remote and began looking for a movie to play before the count down, They all decided to watch the movie Harry Potter deathly hallows part 2.

Zuko, Suki, and Iroh later came inside and sat on the couch joining the group by watching the movie.

Once the movie ended it was already 12:29 am and everyone was getting excited for New Years'''. Iroh became passing out the hats as Katara put in the news, It was already 12:56 and everyone was standing up as they watched the news.

Katara - 10 minutes ahh I can't wait !

Aang - Me too this year is going to be awesome

Iroh - I'm going to use the restroom

Zuko - Hurry uncle it's already 10:58

Iroh - Don't worry I have many New Years to come

Iroh left the living and headed to the bathroom. Aang began to hold Katara's hand as they cheered their drinks together

Zuko and Suki stood a little bit behind Aang and Katara smiling and blushing when they looked towards each other. Toph stood around 7 feet away from Katara's left placing her arm around Sokka's waist pushing him a bit closer to her while Sokka warped his arms around Toph's shoulders.

Katara - GUYS IT'S HAPPENING!!

Zuko - UNCLE!

Nothing

Toph - I think he's still busy in the bathroom

Aang - It's ok Zuko......Ahh the count down

Sokka - Oh my gosh oh my gosh

Toph - Come down there Sokka—

Katara,Suki,Aang - 39 38. 37 36 35 34 33 32. 31 20!!

Everyone - 20 19 18 17 16 15 14 13 12 11!

Everyone - 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1!!!!! Happy New Years !!!!

Aang hugged Katara before kissing her, Toph pulled Sokka in for a kiss. Sokka then pulled away just a little bit before placing his forehand against Toph.

Sokka - I love you Toph
Toph - I love you too.......Meathead

The couple shared a laugh before rejoining for another kiss. A minute or two later Toph and Sokka pulled away from their kiss and looked over at Aang, Katara as they stood hand in hand smiling. Then they turned around to find Suki and Zuko kissing, But they quickly pulled away when they felt everyone staring at them

Katara - AWW

Zuko&Suki blush with shy smiles

Sokka - Way to go man

Aang - You guys are perfect!

Toph - Nice.

Uncle Iroh walked backed into the room and everyone stared at him when he walked in a sense he missed so much.

Iroh  - Did I miss it?

Zuko - I'm sorry Uncle

Uncle - It's all right we always have next year

Sokka - Guess you can say you've been in the bathroom since last year, HAHA

Toph - Dude, could've done better

Sokka - yeah I know

The group all sat around the Iroh dining table, It was a circle table because Iroh always thought they brought people closer together.

Aang and Katara sat together again hand in hand. Zuko sat next to Suki holding her hand under the table so Katara wouldn't "AWWWW"

Sokka sat beside Toph laying his head on her shoulder, Toph held his hand and rubbed her thumb on the back of his hand showing her affection.

The group went around the table and talked about their favorite memories they had this year. Iroh finally got tired and headed upstairs for the night but allowed the group to hang out at his house as long as they wanted.

After about an hour or two of talking and laughing the group decided it was best to sleep over at Iroh because they were all too tired to drive.

Suki - So where are we going to sleep?

Katara - There are 2 spare bedrooms

Sokka - Toph and I can share one!

(Sokka said very happy and excited causing everyone to look at him weird

Zuko - I can sleep on the couch with Suki?

Suki - Yeah that sounds nice

Aang - And Katara and I will share a bed!

Sokka gave Aang a very scary look causing Aang to take a step back

Sokka - You Better not get ANY ideas

Aang - Y-yes sir

Katara - Ugh Sokka why can't you just be normal for once

Sokka - Hey I'm just being a brother. I don't want you fooling around with my best friend in the same house I'm in

Katara - Oh really?What about Christma—

Toph's eyes widen and she quickly grabbed Sokka's hand walking away from the group and towards the extra bedroom. Everyone else was confused besides Katara

Toph - Well I'm getting very tired. Night y'all

Everyone - Night

Sokka and  Toph entered the bedroom and got ready for the night.

Toph faced planted on the bed before moving on to her side and getting comfortable, Sokka turned off the lights and walked over to the living room and the extra bedroom saying good night to everybody before coming back to the bedroom where he snuggled up against Toph.

Toph - Night meat Head

Sokka - Good night
