The girls stood in the middle of the hallway waiting for the boys who took their sweet time getting ready.

Toph - what's fucking taking them so long!

Katara - Be patient Toph, Let's not start this trip on the wrong side.

Katara said in a sleepy voice

Suki - It's already on the wrong side KataraSince we had to wake up at 6 IN THE MorNInG !!!!!

Toph - Yeah why did Aang-

Toph stopped talking when she heard the sound of the boy's apartment door close and the boy's footsteps walking towards them

Aang - Morning guys, Sorry it took so long

Zuko - Yeah cause Someone didn't wake up

Sokka -  Hey I like my manly rest

Toph - "Manly rest?" More like beauty sleep

Sokka - Hey!

Aang - Guys we have no time for arguing let's go to the car.

Zuko - Yeah let's start this fucking awesome vacation!!!

The group walked downstairs to the parking lot and places their bags in Katara's car trunk since she had the biggest car.

After placing their suitcases in the truck everyone got inside the car and Aang began to drive.
Katara sat next to Aang helping him stay awake, Zuko and Suki were half asleep sitting in the back seats while Toph was asleep on Sokka's shoulder in the middle row.

Aang - Ugh why is the drive so long!

Katara - It's alright Aang before you know it we will be out of this car and on the plane

Those words echoed throughout Toph's mind before her sleepy brain could process it and once she did Toph jumped off of Sokka's shoulder catching everyone's attention.

Toph - What!

Sokka - Toph what's wrong?

Toph - Plane! We are going on a plane??

Zuko - Well how else do you think we're getting to Chicago

Toph - Uh I don't know maybe Driving!

Katara - Toph if we drove there the whole way it would take too long. Flying on a plane is the best option. And why are you so surprises I thought Sokka already told you?

Toph looked over in Sokka's direction and so did everyone else, Sokka cheeks became pink from the number of eyes on him.

Toph - Why didn't you tell me!

Sokka - Because I knew that you didn't like planes and I was scared if I told you you wouldn't want to go.I'm sorry Toph I was planning on telling you but I never did, And I know this was a shit thing to do. I hope you can forgive me

Toph exhaled and laid back in her seat as everyone looked away because the conversation slowly became just between Sokka and her.
Toph rolled her eyes and crossed her arms with a "bitch face."

Toph - Ugh I wish you told me sooner

Sokka - Don't worry Toph we will all be there to help youAnd I promise I won't let Anything bad happen to you....ever

Sokka bent down his neck and kissed Toph on the lips, Toph didn't kiss him back and just let her lips sit there as Sokka kissed her softly. Finally, Sokka pulled away and fell asleep for the rest of the ride.

Aang parked in the parking lot and everyone got out of the car and took their bag, After they walked inside the airport the group did what everyone else does in an airport

Buy their tickets, Go through security and long lines.

Then the group found their waiting area and waited there, After a while of waiting the everyone went to go check out gift shops and eat breakfast.

After the group ate breakfast everyone sat down on the chairs waiting for the plane, Finally, Suki saw the plane through the window and announced it to the group so they could start packing up everything.

When Toph heard Suki announce that the plane was here her stomach dropped to her toes. Toph had never been this nervous in her life before and Sokka could tell she was nervous so he grabbed her hand and squeezed it trying to reinsure her, Toph did the same thing back before getting up and grabbing her bag.

The group walked over to the lady who stood in front of the door that took them to the plane.

Lady - Tickets

One by one the group handed the lady their tickets and walked into the tunnel towards the airplane.
Finally, it was Toph's turn she was the last one of the group that needed to hand in her ticket, Sokka stood at the entrance of the tunnel waiting for her. Toph took a deep breath and then handed the lady her ticket

Lady - Have a nice trip

Toph then walked into the tunnel with Sokka and he wrapped his arms around her smiling.

Sokka - I knew you could do it!

Toph - Yeah well don't get too excited, we still have the actual flight to go through

Everyone sat down in their seats, Toph and Sokka sat on the left row of the plane and sat next to each other. They bought an extra seat so no one would bother them.

Aang and Katara were on the row next to Toph and Sokka and Did the same thing as them so they wouldn't have someone annoying next to them.

Zuko and Suki, on the other hand, weren't so lucky, They sat behind Toph and Sokka but Zuko forgot to buy an extra seat so in the seat behind Toph sat an Emo 14-year-old boy.

He did it say much but he blasted music so loud that Suki could hear it from the window seat.

Toph - Uhh I think I'm getting plane sick

Sokka - Oh um

Sokka looked around his area trying to find something that could help Toph, He found a puke bag under his seat and happily handed it to Toph.

Sokka - Here if you need to puke use this

Toph - No thanks I brought this instead

Toph reached into her bra and pulled out a couple of benzodiazepines and popped them into her mouth and drank some water out of her water cup

Sokka - What the hell are you doing!And what are those? !

Toph - I bought them at a gift shop. The guys said they helped calm nervous so I took a few.

Sokka - How many did you take?

Toph - 4-5

Toph said calmly resting her head back into the seat while Sokka stared shocked

Sokka - Let me search this up

Sokka pulled out his phone and searched for information about the pills.

Finally, he found the part where it told him how much you should take the base off of your weight. When Sokka read that part his eyes got big and he looked over towards Toph.

Toph - What?

Sokka - For someone like you should take 1-2. You took 5!

Toph - I'll be fine Sokka, What are the side effects?

Sokka - umm let me check.....Oh gosh!

Toph - What?

Sokka - being unbalanced, headache or dizziness, hallucination, bad vision-

Toph - Already have that

Sokka - Vomit, itchy skin, dry throat, and Ummm very big burst of energy

Toph - That's nothing Sokka I'm going to be fine

Sokka - You sure?

Toph - Yes.....I'm going to go take a nap now

Sokka - Ok sleep tight

Toph laid her head on Sokka's shoulder and snuggled closer to him. Sokka played a movie while she fell asleep, Katara and Aang were talking and being a court couple while Zuko was trying his best not to break the Emo kids iPhone with his blasting music.

While Toph was sleeping Sokka noticed that Toph's leg was shaking and increasing by the minute so Sokka shook Toph's shoulder walking her up.

Sokka - Toph?

Toph - Uhhh.mmmm too tried

Sokka - Toph wake up

Toph - Ugh fine

Toph lifted her head off of Sokka and started stretching before realizing her shaky leg.

Toph - Wait why is my leg shaking!??

Sokka - I think this is the medicine side effects,
I knew it was bad

Toph - Sokka I'm fine I'll rather have a shaky leg than being on a 4-hour flight freaking out I just need to stretch

Toph tried to get out of her seat but quickly fall back on her chair, She had horrible balance and couldn't stand up. Sokka caught Toph arms as she fell and looked around trying to figure out what to do

Katara noticed that Toph fell and that she didn't look good so Katara walked over to Sokka.

Katara - What wrong with Toph?

Sokka - nothing she's fine

Katara - Sokka I'm not an idiot

Sokka - Well Toph—

Sokka stopped talking and looked toward Toph as she began to speak

Toph - Hey mom.....Why are you on a boat?....... you hate boats

After Toph said that she closed her eyes and her head fell on Sokka's shoulder, Katara looked back towards Sokka and gave him dirty look.

Katara - She's dRunk!

Sokka - No she's not drunk Katara Toph took some medicine to help calm her nerves but she had too many. She's getting all the side effects and I don't know what to do

Katara - I think my healing will be able to help

Katara bent some water from the Sokka water cup and placed it over Toph's head about to heal her before a flight attendant saw Katara and sprinted towards her.

Flight attendant - What are you doing !?

Katara - I'm healing my friend—

Flight attendant - Bending is not allowed on the plane

Katara - I don't think you understand I need to use my bending

Katara said to the lady before Turing her head back towards Toph and started healing her.

Flight attendant - NO bending on the plane

Katara - Please just give me a minute

Flight attendant - Stop bending or I will call security!

Katara was completely shocked about how quickly things were exalting, She looked back towards Sokka to get his opinion. Sokka nodded his head telling Katara it was ok for her to go back to her seat, Katara closed her eyes and sighed before walking back to her seat.

Sokka lifted Toph off of his shoulder and looked at her face. Katata was right Toph did look like she was drunk

Sokka - Toph are you ok

Toph - Shut up Mr

Sokka - Mr? Toph is there anything I can do to help?

Toph - Hey how do you know my name? I'm going home

Sokka - No wait Toph sit down

Sokka put his hands on Toph's shoulders trying to stop her but she shrugged them off and walked in the ally way of the airplane. Toph took 3 steps before immediately crashing to the ground and causing everyone to stare at her

Toph - Ow!

Sokka jumped out of his seat and picked her up and placed her back in her seat.

Toph - Dad! I can walk on my own !!

Sokka - Dad? Toph can you please just sit down and rest I don't want to see you get hurt

Toph - I'm hungry

Sokka - The food should be coming soon

Toph - UGHH whatever Aang

Toph fell asleep again while waiting for lunch, Sokka left to go use the restroom during that time the flight attendants began passing out food.

When they came to Toph seat she lightly shook her shoulder trying to wake her up, When Toph woke up she was not happy and the flighty attended could tell by the look on her face that made it seem she was going to muster someone

Flight attendant - Oh your f-food is h-here Ms.

Toph - Then Give it to me !

Aang overheard Toph yelling at the lady and tried to calm her down from his seat

Aang - Toph please, I know you don't feel go but the lady is just trying to do her job

Toph - Shut up I feel like shit so I can act how I want Aang. Now where is my food?

Flight attendant- Here  it is Ms

The lady placed Toph food on her try and placed Sokka on his tray as well, She then handy Toph her drink before leaving

Toph opened up the food and smelled it, The smell smelt so familiar to her. Toph then grabbed the fork and placed it down on the food and took a bite.

Toph's eyes widened as she took a bite and she immediately spits it out on the ground. She got up from her seat and began to yell at the lady who was only able to walk 5 feet away from Toph

Toph - What is this ??Why is it spicy!!

Flight attendant - It's Sushi Ms

Toph - Sushi! What!!! Is this Wasabi on it !!!

Fight attendant- Yes Ms

Toph - Ahhh I'm going to-

Just as Toph started yelling at the lady Sokka got out of the bathroom and sprinted towards Toph and placed his hands on her shoulders trying to push her back down. At first, Toph refused but then she quieted down and sat in her seat.

Sokka - What going on?

Toph - The lady gave me Sushi

Toph - And wasabi, I Hate wasabi

Sokka - Sushi?

Sokka looked at the meals and noticed that the flight attendant accidentally gave Toph his meal and placed Toph meal on his tray

Sokka - Oh I see she handed you my meal

Sokka handed Toph her meal which was a club sandwich and some chips which Toph gladly took and handed Sokka his meal. They ate in silence and after Toph finished her meal she tossed her head back on Sokka's shoulder, Sokka wrapped his arm around her and patted her head.

Toph - Ugh I feel horrible, I shouldn't have taken the pills

Sokka - It's ok just gets some rest

Toph - Okay Sokka

Toph closed her eyes and drifted off into another nap, When she woke Sokka told her that they landed in Chicago and that it was time to go. She grabbed her bags and noticed that her headache was gone which made her extremely happy.

One by one people started leaving the planes and it was finally the group's turn to leave, Once they made it inside the airport Aang started to stretch while Katara made sure everyone was there and that they had everything.

They walked over to the area with the suitcase and picked them up before heading out to the outside of the airport into the cold and snowy Chicago day.

Sokka - Everyone welcomes to Chicago!

Top - It's cold!

Toph said half upset and half sarcastically which made everyone laugh
