The week went by and it was already time for Toph date with Chang, The whole week Sokka and Toph didn't talk and any time someone would try to bring it up they would just ignore it or say

"I have no idea what you are talking about."

After school, Toph came home to her apartment and took a long and nice nap, if it wasn't for Katara being loud in the kitten she probably wouldn't have woken up. Once Toph woke up she walked into the kitten and saw Katara cooking

But she didn't need to See to know it was a mess and that Katara burned the food.

Katara was running around the kitten trying to put the fire out with her water bending and trying to stop the smoke from Turing off the fire alarm. Toph walked up behind Katara and put her hand on her shoulder and shook it

Toph - Um Katara?

katara - AHHHHH! Oh it is just you Toph

Toph - Who else would it be?

Katara - I don't know, Anyways how was your nap?

Toph - Ehhhh I've had better, So what are you cooking or should I say burning?

Katara sarcastic - hahaha so you're so funny

Toph - What, I'm just asking

Katara - Ok fine I'm going to tell you but you have to promise not to tell anyone, Not even Sokka

Toph - Why would I tell Sokka?

katara - I don't know...... you guys use to be close and-

Toph - Ok ok, Just tell me already

Katara - Alright fine, So Aang and I, well we are...um well......

Toph - Are what!??....sick? dancers? dead? about to get married?.... Come on spit it out!!!!!

Katara - Alright fine......We are dating

Toph - Oh like nobody saw that coming

Katara - Wait what?

Toph - I'm just saying that even when you two were friends you seemed like a couple

Katara - Oh uhh thanks I guess. That's why I was making a fancy and somewhat hard to make dinner

Toph - You mean burning dinner

Katara - Toph!, I'm making dinner because Suki is out of the house and you were asleep. It's  supposed to be my and Aang first date

Toph - Wait DATE! Oh gosh....uh I have the worst memory in the world!!.....ugg

Toph jumped out of the chair and raced to her bedroom closest and scrambled through her clothes trying to find something to wear besides sweatpants and a tank top. Katara followed Toph confused and stood at her doorway as Toph disorganized the closet

Katara  - Um Toph mind telling me what's going on?

Toph - No, If I tell you you are going to go full mom mode on me!

Katara - What! I don't do that Toph

Toph - Yeah sure....... And I'm not blind

Katara - Ugh whatever, Can you please just tell me why you are distorting your closet!?

Toph - Um maybe if you help me find my pair of jeans I bought 2 weeks ago

Katara - Alright fine

Katara walked over to the closet and started looking for the jeans with Toph, finally, Katara found the jeans in the back of Toph's closest and handed them to Toph. Toph quickly snatched the jeans from Katara's grip and ran to the bathroom where she changed.

Toph then ran under her bed and pulled out two different color socks and a pair of white shoes, As Toph put on her shoes Katara started to reorganize Toph's closet and hang all the clothes that were on the ground.

Halfway done Katara saw Toph grab her phone and bag and bolted through the apartment door, Katara raced after her and finally caught up to her and placed her hand on Toph's shoulder.

Toph frowned when she felt Katara because she knew she was going to be late for her date with Chang, Even worse Toph also felt Sokka coming up the stairs to their apartment floor.

Katara - Hold it there Toph where are you going?

Toph - Non of your business MOM!

Katara - I'm not acting like a mom ok! I just want to know where you're going and why you are such in a rush

Toph - I'm not telling you anything

Katara - uh why not-

Katara stopped talking when she saw Sokka coming up the last few steps of stairs, He was on his phone so he didn't notice them until Katara ran over to him and pulled him over to where She and Toph were standing.

Sokka - Heyyy what's going on? 

Sokka crooked his head in confusion as Toph rolled her eyes

Katara - Shut up and help me find out where Toph is going!

Sokka - Why should I care where she is going Katara?

Toph - SEE Sokka is minding his business something You should learn to do

Sokka -  Wait a minute why are you dressed up.Are you going with him tonight?

Toph - Yes I am, Did you think I was lying or something?

Sokka - No I didn't, I just thought you weren't even going to go because you are so forgetful

Toph - You think I'm forgetful!

Sokka - Well if the shoe fits—

Katara - Guys! Guys stop ok. Can someone please tell me what's going on? Why is Toph dressed up, who is this guy she is talking about, and why have you guys been so distant lately?.

Toph - Well guess what!. The shoe is the wrong fucking size so it doesn't fit!

Sokka - YEAH?... Let me guess you probably forgot about the dinner with that guy you met less than a week ago!

Toph - So what if I did! At least he doesn't ask for an answer every Five seconds

Sokka - I asked 3 times oKAY! He's probably an awful guy by the way

Toph - That's non your business and I have to go!!

Sokka - Whatever I was already planning to leave

Toph ran down the stairs and exited the building while Sokka walked to his dorm, Katara was still standing in the middle of the hallway trying to understand what just happened.

But after 5 minutes of still being confused, she decided it was best to head back to her apartment and make dinner for her and Aang.

[ Sokka Pov ]

I walked into my apartment to find Zuko knocked out on the couch from watching a movie, I turned off the tv and headed to my room. As I walked to my room I saw Aang's door slightly open and I peeked my head through the crack to see what he was doing, He was sorta dressed up fancy and he was standing in front of his mirror fixing his hair which seemed to grow back very quickly.

I was going to ask him where he was going but I realized I had a more important thing to worry about and Aang getting dressed up was not one of them, I laid down on my bed and faced the tall ceiling, and drifted off to my mind and of course, my mind was stuck on Toph

"Why would she go on a date with that guy?"

"Uggg why did I have to be so mean to her, and why is she so gosh darn pretty!!!"

"And her hair.....oh how her soft hair complements her fair skin tone and her perfect pink lips"

"Ahhhhhhh why did I have to ruin my chance with her, She would never take me back now"

"..........................FOOD"

"Yep I'm defiantly hungry"

I got up from my bed and walked to the kitchen on my way there I saw Aang about to leave the dorm, I could tell he was very nervous because the second I began to talk to him he jumped like 10 feet with his air bending.

I opened the refrigerator and took out some bread with of course peanut butter and jelly, I started making my sandwich as I talked to Aang which I could tell he was very nervous to talk to me for some reason.

Sokka - Where are you going?

Aang - Um to the library?

Sokka - Aang. Come on.

I gave him an "I'm not that much of an idiot" look and he seemed to get anxious

Aang - Ok fine you caught me.....I'm going to dinner

Sokka - By yourself?

Aang - Nope

Sokka - Who are you going with then?

I said taking a bite of my sandwich

Aang - Um a girl......

Sokka - Ohhh so it's a date, Why didn't you tell me sooner

Aang - Um well it's-

I walked over to Aang and began pushing him out of the door

Sokka - I don't need details, Go have a fun kid it's about time you shoot your shot

Aang - Oh thanks Sokka but I need to tell you-

I finally pushed Aang all the way out of the door and closed it, I look at my PB&J that had been somewhat squished from trying to push Aang out the door and I happily took another bit of it.

As I looked over to the living room I saw Zuko walking up from his nap. I walked over to him and stood right in front of him as he began to rub his eye

Zuko - What's all that noise?

Sokka - Oh it's just Aang.......going on a date!

Zuko - Really!

Zuko said shocked but was still half asleep

Sokka - Yep!

Zuko - Ok well goodnight again

Zuko closed his eyes and drifted off to his nap again, I walked to my room and sat at the edge of my bed as I finished up my sandwich. Of course,  my mind drifted off and I somehow always came back to the same topic.....Toph.

[ TOPH Pov ]

The second I left the hallway I ran to the outside of the building and felt Chang waiting for me, I could tell by his heartbeat that he was kinda nervous.

Chang - Hey you finally made it, I got worried you forgot about our date

Toph - Ohh uh no I just always run late

Chang - Ok... I wanted to take you to my favorite place in the world......Sushi town

Toph - Oh great! I just love Sushi hah

Chang - Oh I'm so sorry I didn't know you didn't like it, Oh gosh this is embarrassing

Toph - No no it's fine....I uhh Actulley love sushi Chang

Chang - Really?

Toph - uhh yeah, I guess

Change - Well that's good because I already preordered a 3-course meal of Sushi!

Toph - Um that's great!

Chang and I walked over to the restaurant Sushi town and got seated down at a table inside. 

We talked for a while before the awful 3 course Sushi came and I'm not kidding when I said it was HELL.

Chang got happy when the food came while I was trying not to throw up at the smell of raw fish

So the first meal came and it was raw tuna wrapped in rice and something else that I don't even want to know the name of.

Then the second meal didn't even have raw fish in it...... IT WAS A FUCKING CUCUMBER SUSHI like first of all who likes to eat raw meat and rice but then takes the only good part about it and changes it with CUCUMBERS AHHH.

Ok but the last one was the worst

So they handed us a plate that had sushi stuffed with a bunch of stuff in it and then Chang told me to dip it in a sauce on my right......My fucking right......does he not know I'm BLIND. Anyway, I dipped in the closest thing I could find and guess what it was......... fucking  wasabi.

That shit burnt my mouth and I felt like I was a fire bender breathing out fire, I jumped out of my seat and grabbed the closet drink next to me. water.

Are you kidding me water does nothing so I ran over to the back of the restaurant and asked for a cup of coke? I chugged it as I headed Chang walking behind me and I was honestly so pissed at this man and I just wanted to leave this hell place.

Chang - Are you ok? I said the right, not the left Toph

Toph - Are you serious.....dude I'm blind

Chang - SHIT... I'm so sorry Toph I forgot

Toph - Whatever I'm going to go to my apartment, thanks for whatever this was.

Chang - WAIT, don't leave

Toph - Why not

Chang - Because I don't have the money to pay for the meal

Toph - WHAT.

Chang - Well you are a Beifong aren't you suppose to be rich?

Toph - I swear to god if you say another word from your ugly face... I am going to punch you so hard that you won't be Abel to walk for the rest of your life!

I started walking out the door and heard Chang yelling at me, Could he honestly not take a hint for the love of God?

Chang - What am I supposed to do about the bill?

Toph - I don't know it's not my problem

I walked to my apartment building as I was about to open the door to the building I felt Sokka on the other side and waited for him to open the door.

I could tell he was surprised to see me because his heartbeat went up. We just stood in the doorway letting the cold night air get in the building.

Sokka - Umm Hi

Toph - Hey.....Are you here to yell at me again

Sokka - uh no, I'm going to go get some meat from the stake house

Toph - Wow real meat and not raw fish

Sokka - Are you talking about Sushi?

Toph - yeah...... Hey, I know that we haven't been best of friends lately...But can I come with you?

Sokka - Um sure

They walked together to the Sokka car and drove to the stake house that was 20 minutes away from the college campus.

For most of the car ride, it was pretty silent until Sokka and Toph's favorite song came on

"Killer queen from the band queen".

When it first started playing Sokka got a wide smile on his face and Toph's eyes widen because Sokka and her would always rock out to this song.

Finally, Sokka couldn't take it anymore and began singing at the top of his lungs and held his phone and pretended it was a microphone.

Sokka  - A built-in remedy For Khrushchev and Kennedy At anytime an invitation You can't decline!!!!!!!!!

Sokka - wow I'm such a good singer

Toph - Haha

Sokka looked at Toph as she tried to wipe her smile away, even though they haven't been close lately he knew she couldn't resist singing the song with him, He put his hand on her shoulder which caused Toph to tenses up.

Sokka - You think you can sing better than me?

Toph - Oh I know I'm better than you

Sokka - haha oh really? Alright then sing the next part with me

Toph - No

Sokka - come on why not? Your favorite part of the song is coming up

Toph - Alright fine, pass me the microphone

Sokka handed Toph his phone and they waited for their favorite part to play, finally, it played and Sokka and Toph sang at the top of their lungs.

Sokka&Toph - Perfume came naturally from Paris For cars she couldn't care less Fastidious and precise.....She's a Killer Queen!!!!!! Gunpowder, gelatine Dynamite with a laser beam Guaranteed to blow your mind Anytime!!!!!!!!

Toph&Sokka - HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHA

Sokka - I guess you are a good singer

Toph - Yep...Never doubt the blind girl vocals

Toph handed Sokka back his phone and they sat in silence as their favorite song finished up, It was a red light and Sokka looked over at Toph as she "looked" straight ahead, Toph resized Sokka was staring at her but she didn't mind one bit.

Toph finally faced Sokka's direction without knowing it and caused Sokka to blush.

Before he knew it he started moving closer towards Toph's lips, Toph could sense him doing that but didn't do anything to stop it. Sokka was probably an inch away from Toph's lips before.

"BEEEEEEEEEEEEEP"

Sokka looked up and realized that the street light turned green.
