After a few days, Y/n forgave Ishigami after he kept begging for forgiveness, going so far as to go to her house and send her flowers of forgiveness.
They were making their way to the Student Council room together until they heard the commotion inside.
They decided to stand by outside and wait until they think its safe to waltz in there.
"P-Perverts! I would never do anything like that here! What in the world are you thinking?" Shirogane slowly stepped backwards, away from the two who were trying to get the word 'wiener' to come out of his mouth.
"Are you nymphos?! Are you nymphomaniacs?!" Shirogane shouted, bursting out of the doors and running away from the Student Council room.
"Nymphomaniacs?" Y/n repeated, taking a small peek inside the Student Council room to see what would make the President run away so quickly.
"Why...is this happening?" Shinomiya sighed.
"Wiener." Fujiwara smirked, making Shinomiya burst into a fit of laughter.
"I've had enough wieners! Miss Fujiwara, when are you going to be satisfied? Stop torturing me with wieners!"
"Miss Kaguya, your response just makes me feel so good. Why don't we switch? You take the wiener part!"
"No way! You won't see that come out of my mouth!"
"Oh, like you never have before! One or two more wieners won't hurt! Y/n-chan, come join us!"
"E-Eh? Me too?"
"Of course!" Fujiwara pulled Y/n inside of the room. Ishigami listened in on the girls, completely misunderstanding the situation as an incredible amount of blood poured from his nose.

"Y/n-chan, come with us! We're going shopping for clothes in Harajuku soon."
"Oh...uhh...no thanks." I replied. Of course I want to go, but I'm not sure if I will be able to interact with them normally. Knowing myself, I will probably keep stuttering and I won't be able to say my sentences right.
I really really want to go, but with a shy personality like mine, I'll probably just slow them down. I would just ruin their fun if I go...
"I won't take no for an answer! You are coming with us!" Chika-san exclaimed, puffing out her cheeks.
I stared at her, wide-eyed. She doesn't mind hanging out with someone like me?
"I-" I paused. Even if she won't take no for an answer, I might just ruin their fun. I don't want to risk that at all...
"If you don't come then..." Chika-san took a step closer to me and leaned closer to my ear.
"I'll tell them what I saw that night." she smirked. Is she talking about that time when Ishigami-kun and I got locked up in the Student Council room?
Well, she's the only one other than the two of us who knows about it so she has to be talking about that.
"Fine..." I mumbled, finally agreeing to go with them. I can feel the heat rising from my cheeks when I remember how close Ishigami-kuns's face was to mine.
"Yay!" Chika-san cheered. That's unfair! She just blackmailed me into going. I'm not saying that I didn't want to go, but I might just ruin their fun with my nervousness. I'll just have to try not to...I guess.

"Finals are coming soon. Have you all been studying?" Shinomiya asked, Fujiwara attempted to whistle to avoid the question.
"Miss Fujiwara, that's not whistling." Shinomiya sighed, turning to Shirogane.
"There's no need to study for exams. They should be no problem if you're studying right along. Last-minute cramming is absurd. You'll just wreck your health." Shirogane said, jotting down some words in his notebook.
He's lying.
"I strongly advise you all to avoid last-minute cramming as well." Shirogane advised.
This young man has even taken a leave of absence from his part-time job so he could stay up studying in the ten nights before the test.
Final Exams! At Shuchiin Academy, Literature and Science exams are given five times a year.
Shirogane has achieved the highest score three times in a row solidifying his position as the school's academic leader.
Shirogane began at the academy from high school. His grades are his biggest lifetime. To maintain his number one status, he wouldn't hesitate to strategize or even lie!
"Good point. Tests are a reflection of your own abilities. Even if you push yourself hard and get a decent score, that doesn't predict the future." Shinomiya agreed.
"The best to do is take it in a relaxed manner." Shinomiya stated. It's unusual for her, but this young lady is taking the finals extremely seriously.
Normally, being defeated isn't necessarily humiliating to her. She knows that the occasional defeat part is the secret of success in life.
But when it comes to studying, that's a different story. Shinomiya is a genius, but pulling out all the stops, she hasn't yet beaten Shirogane in the field!
Being a creature of pride, that kind of defeat is an unforgivable disgrace to her!
"Ishigami. If you don't push yourself to the limit this time, you'll be in trouble. If you fail again..." Shinomiya reminded before Ishigami left the room.
"It'll be fine. I'm studying hard for finals this time around. Well, I'm going home to study." Ishigami announced before leaving the room.
He's lying.
This young man only wants to continue playing the video game he bought recently. He has the nerve to buy a game right before exams.
He lives fast and recklessly as if he's sensed his own time of death. And getting failing grades is the norm for him. This is the way of Ishigami Yu.
"I should go home to study as well. See you all tomorrow." Y/n bowed before leaving the Student Council room.
She's lying.
She was invited to a group study with a few of her classmates and was asked to give her response after school.
She wants to go, but gets nervous when she tries to approach them since they were pretty popular.
Instead, her plan is to hide away in her comfort zone and hope they'd forget about the whole study together thing.
The exam is a battle that begins before the pen is even picked up!
Not only relying on brains, but using information, personal, connections, and assets are all reasonable choices.
A virtual war in which these talented students every bit of ingenuity they possess. That is what the final exams are!
As time went by, the girls who asked Y/n to have a group study forgot about it and didn't interact with Y/n the next day.
Y/n was somewhat sad, but relieved that she wouldn't have to deal with awkward social interactions with someone who she is not comfortable with.
"I should study in the library." Y/n muttered to herself, packing her stuff in her school bag and making her way to the library where she took a seat at the very corner where no one can notice her.
The library shelves were filled with neatly lined up books with their spines facing outward, color coded with dots, fiction section arranged in alphabetical order.
Ishigami pushed open the heavy swing door and scanned the area to look for a girl with h/c hair who always has her head down to avoid interacting with anyone.
There were computers for doing book searches, computers for surfing the web, people with laptops, tutors and students, and posters for the book club on the wall.
There were a few study groups, a stack of magazines, shelves of CD's and movies, washrooms, and a librarian at help desk.
Ten or eleven people were sitting at tables, working. A young lady sat in the corner of the room, alone with her face stuffed in a book.
Ishigami immediately knew who it was and took a seat in front of her, which made Y/n squeak.
She tried her best to continue hiding in the book, praying that this person would soon go away.
"It's me, Ishigami." Ishigami informed her. Y/n hesitantly raised her head up to face Ishigami. She sighed in relief, knowing that it was someone she is familiar with.
"What are you doing here, Ishigami-kun? Don't you hate studying?" Y/n asked, resting her book down on the wooden table.
"I do. That's why I wanted to ask...would you mind helping me study for the finals?" Ishigami asked.
He's lying.
He had been following Y/n the whole day to find a chance to get to spend time with her.
As much as he despised studying, he realized that that's the only way to get them to spend time with each other. He also sees this as a way to avoid Shinomiya from teaching him.
He prefers to be taught by someone who will most likely not kill him. That's why he decided to study with Y/n.
"Oh, I don't mind it at all. Plus, I heard you'll get held back if you fail a test, so it's important to me as well. Did something happen between you and Kaguya-san?" Y/n inquired.
"I just don't want to study with someone who might kill me. Anyways, you don't mind tutoring me?" he asked, Y/n nodded.
"Y/n..." Ishigami muttered, lowering his head to face the table. Y/n stared at him, wondering what he's going to say next.
"Thank you so much! You really are an angel!" Ishigami cried, lifting his head up to reveal his eyes that were flooding with tears.
"Ishigami-kun, don't cry! We're in a library!" Y/n whisper-yelled, using her extra handkerchief to wipe away his tears.
"You're wiping away my tears which other girls won't do. Y/n, you truly are an angel!" he cried even more.
The whole library focused their attention to the two of them, a girl trying to get a grown man to stop crying.
"I'm sorry!" Y/n apologized to the people watching the scene.
They both begin their study session. This went on for days and days.
Ishigami somehow managed to understand the subjects with Y/N's surprisingly amazing teaching skills.
"You're really great at teaching. Do you tutor someone?" Ishigami asks, writing down his answer.
"I guess...I kinda got used to it." Y/n muttered. She frowned, remembering her past.
"That's Ishigami, isn't it?"
"For real? Y/n-chan and Ishigami together?"
"Why?"
"Why do you think?"
"Gross!"
"Y/n-chan deserves better. She may be shy, but she's actually really nice."
"I know right. Plus, with Ishigami? That's just gross!"
"That's enough...I know you're worried about me getting held back, but I honestly don't care if I get held back by a year." Ishigami drops his pencil, completely abandoning the math problem.
"Besides, I'm sure you've seen how I messed up in middle school, which is why you know everyone treats me like I'm a time bomb." Ishigami sighed.
"I used to be a problem child who refused to go to school. When other people see us studying or even hanging out together and they start weird rumors, it'll be your name that gets dragged through the mud." he stated.
"We should stop hanging out." he concluded. Of course, he hated saying such words, but he doesn't want Y/n to get dragged down with him.
He'll even hurt himself and end the precious bond they have created to make sure Y/n doesn't go through what he has to go through.
Y/n stared at the book she held in her hands in silence, listening to Ishigami's words very carefully.
She was incandescent, not because of what he said, but because there are people who can't help but discuss about other people's lives since they're unhappy with their own.
"It's really noisy in here, isn't it? It makes it really hard to study, right?" Y/N's voice deepened, glaring at the three girls who were sitting at the table that was 2 tables away from them.
"You girls...the library is supposed to be a place where people can study in peace. Or is there something wrong with the two of us studying together?" Y/n stood up, turning her body towards the three girls.
"Well, you shouldn't really get mixed up with Ishigami."
"We're just worried about you, Y/n-chan."
"That's why we think you should stop talking to him."
"Thank you for worrying about me. However, I don't judge someone if I haven't seen the full picture. Ishigami-kun is someone I care for, therefore he is worthy of having a relationship with me." Y/n declared.
"Or...are you doubting the judgement I have made?" she stared at them with piercing e/c colored eyes which frightened the three girls.
"N-No! I'm sorry!"
"We're sorry about that Y/n-chan."
"Please don't get the wrong idea."
"Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots. Please don't make me think you're one of them." Y/n said before heading back to Ishigami.
"Ishigami-kun, there's a cafe nearby, let's head over there and continue studying." Y/n suggested, packing their stuff and offering a hand for him to grab.
He hesitated, wondering if he should accept it or not. He wanted to, but rumors won't magically stop.
He looked up and saw Y/N's beaming eyes, one that shone brighter than the sun. The only thing Y/n appeared as in his eyes was an angel.
He grabbed her small hand, she pulled him up and they made their way to the cafe.
When the two of them were out of sight from any students, Y/n's legs failed her and she collapsed on the ground.
"I was so scared..." Y/n admitted. Despite how Y/n spoke, despite the bravery on her face, she was scared the entire time.
"Why? You were scared, but you still did that? I appreciate you standing up for me, but people are gonna get the wrong idea." Ishigami reminded
"Who cares if they get the wrong idea? All that matters is that I get to spend time with you." Y/n turned to look at him.
"People will always spread rumors about you. People will always cause drama involving you. I learned that the hard way." Y/n mumbled, getting back on her feet.
"But the only thing you can do is rise above them and smile." Y/n smiled at him, a genuine one.
Ishigami had never seen Y/n crack a smile. But all he knew was that...he wanted to see her smile more.
Ishigami likes people who understand. The type who aren't quick to judge.
You can vent to them and labelling you will be the last thing on their mind. They don't believe rumors because they know there are two sides to every story.
They get to know who you really are, they have an opinion. Ishigami likes those kind of people. Real people.
And he knew for a fact, that he was slowly falling for L/n Y/n, the Historian of the Five-member Student Council whose job is to make a book of the contributions and memories the student council has made.
