The night before the second task was very hectic for many. The chosen one in one side of the castle was distressed on not being able to find his friends.

Fleur Delacour couldnt find her little sister. The whole school was shook, but the teachers ignored the tension effortlessly. Fleur sat with her friends in the ravenclaw common room stressed on where her sister could have gone.

Her eyes fell on a girl of the same house, who hastily came inside amd went to her dorm, Fleur knew her, She was Cho. Seeing that girl made Fleur sad about Amelia. She hadn't seen much of Amelia the whole time since the rumour came out that Cedric Diggory cheated on her.

Cho came out of her dorm with a small vial with shiny pink liquid in it. Fleur furrowed her eyebrows and got up following her quitely without being noticed. Fleur saw the girl was going to some deserted corridor looking around no one was seeing her. Cho halted on her steps and Fleur immediately hid behind the wall. Fleur heard the door open and close.

Ernie Mclaggen came into sight standing a bit far away talking to Professor Filtwick. Fleur waved her hands gaining his attention and called him towards her. She told him about what she just saw making him frown. He too was not on talking terms with Cedric because of his strange behavior, and now he was hearing that his new girlfriend was also sneaky.

They peeked out to see Cho was out of sight, their eyes fell on the classroom, which appeared less used.

Frowning they both went forward to peek from the glass of the door, the room was dim lighted and their eyes fell on Cedric who was sitting quietely on the chair and Cho stirring something in a glass.

"That's Amortentia!" Fleur whisper exclaimed. Ernie's mouth wide agape in disbelief.

"C'est comme ça que cette salope a volé mon copain d'amis" Fleur hissed fuming in anger. Ernie gave her a confused look.

"Okay I know whatever you said surely wasnt good, come" Ernie said pushing the door open startling the two inside. All the color drained out of Cho's face.

"tu es une sale salope détestable" Fleur sneered running forward grabbing Cho by her collar.

"Cedric! She gave you a love potion, are you listening?" Ernie rushed to Cedric shaking him, but he just held a blank expression.

"I didnt do anything!" Cho yelled in fear instantly getting smacked by Fleur in the face. Fleur kept cursing in French sneering at her face.

"Fleur, wait we will take her to Professor Mcgonnacal or you will simply kill her, he too needs to come out of this" Ernie said stopping the fuming blonde.

They both dragged the two to Mcgonnacal, Cho crying the whole way, getting harshly cursed by Fleur. They burst into Mcgonnacal's office startling her.

Fleur again cursed in French throwing Cho in front of the professor. Ernie sighed and explained the whole situation. Mcgonnacal held a horrified and distasteful look on her face, disappointed at Cho.

"This is very disappointing Ms. Chang, you are prohibited from all your hogsmeade trips and have also earned 2 detentions till the end of the year everyday." Mcgonnacal scolded, Cho just kept weeping.

"Cho dont cry" Cedric cooed his face still expressionless. All the others shook their heads, how deeply drowned he was in the effect of the potion.

"Professor please fix him" Ernie said sighing. Mcgonnacal muttered spells at Cedric bringing him out of the effect of the love portion, she withdrew her wand once she was done.

"Cedric how do you feel?" Ernie asked worried, Cedric gave him a wierd look and the his face crooked in a distasteful expression and he started remembering what has been happening with him the past days.

"She– How dare you!?" Cedric exclaimed at Cho angrily, she shrank backwards.

"Amelia– O god, all this happened because of you!" He yelled at Cho and ran out straight to the gryffindor common room.

"Longbottom, please call Amelia right now its urgent" Cedric said hastily holding Neville startling him.

He nodded and went inside and came out after a few minutes whil Cedric waited outside impatiently.

"Amelia is not there, everyone says she has not returned since a few hours" Neville said in a small voice.

"What! Where is she? Where is she gone?" Cedric asked shaking him scaring the poor boy.

"I dont know, no one knows" Neville said scared.

"What do you want Diggory" Fred came out of the common room and glared at him.

"Amelia" Cedric said simply glaring back.

"I dont think you'll be getting her back after what you did to her" Fred snapped.

"Listen Weasley I dont have time for all this, Just tell me where is she?"  Cedric said trying to keep calm.

"I dont think i will" Fred said coldly and went back inside, not like he knew where she was, but in his opinion it was better she was away from him.

Cedric groaned frusterate and punched the wall harshly causing Neville and the Fat lady to shriek. He was feeling pissed and messed up. He ran here and there in the whole castel searching for her but couldnt find her.

Ernie approached him and stopped him telling him to go and sleep it was his second task tomorrow. Cedric stormed off to his dorm angrily banging the door loudly collapsing on the bed.

He remembered the night Cho came to his dorm and tried to seduce him but he thankfully fell asleep before anything regretful could happen. Tears started pricking his eyes remembering Amelia's face when he was under the potion.

The hurt look on her face kept playing in his mind, the red tearful grey eyes, her cracking hurt voice, everything made him feel so guilty.

The next morning the champions assembled on the Hogwarts lake. They were all told they had to retrieve something from under the lake. Cedric kept looking around to find the face of Amelia but couldnt. 

He felt worst, she was so mad at him that she didnt even come to his task, not even as an excuse. He remembered everything Amelia told him while preparing for the task, how worried she was for him.

But right now she was nowhere. The whistle blew and he quickly put the bubblehead charm on him which was again Amelia's idea. On another whistle they all jumped in the lake swimming to the depth.

Cedric focussed on winning, because he cant fail her, she helped him like no one did. She took all the responsibilities of his tasks even without saying. He made a promise to himself that he will win this for her.

He swam deeper and deeper and could see four figures floating in the water, from a distance he couldnt comprehend what they were. His eyes fell on something shiny and dark blue on one of the figures. His eyes widened that was Amelia's pendant, that her aunt gave her on Christmas, which she never takes off.

He swam even faster in the direction and saw it was Amelia. Her leg tied by the rope, eye closed and her pendant floating. Other participants were not even here yet because his speed boosted so much when he saw her. He quickly untied the rope and held her tightly like he would never let her go.

He started swimming to the top with full speed holding her tightly against him, his heart racing with worry. His mind only thinking that she was in this situation because of him. Soon he reached the surface, and the bubblehead charm disappeared, he gasped loudly for air and swam to the stand quickly.

People gave hands to pull them up, he first let Amelia being pulled by them, and then got up himself quickly. Amelia was layed on the floor still unconscious, people passed towels for both them. Cedric worriedly wrapped towel around her shaking her slightly calling her name.

"Amelia, Amelia wake up" He cried worriedly, rubbing her hands.

"Amelia! Is she alright?" Came Fred's voice, the twins quickly crouched beside the unconscious girl calling continuously.

"Amelia please wake up! Why is she not waking up!?" Cedric cried pulling her head in his lap, tears started pricking his eyes.

"This is all because of you!" Fred said harshly to Cedric.

"Oh see water is coming out of her mouth, do something, whats that muggle thing, do that" George exclaimed.

Cedric pressed both his palms on her stomach pressing them gently and saw the water started coming out of her mouth. Amelia started coughing water out and Cedric continued his task.

"Yes wake up Amelia, wake up" Cedric said happily as she started stirring and groaning. He didnt pay attention on what was goimg on in the background, the winners were being announced, and he won, being the first to retrieve his treasure.

Amelia suddenly sat up straight coughing out water loudly, he rubbed her back. She choked when heard his voice and jerked her head towards him to see him crying happily. A hurt look stricking her face, she started heaving as memories came flooding back.

"Amelia are you alright?" Cedric asked happily cupping her face, brushing the hair out.

"Shut up" She yelled swatting his hands away and standing up.

"Amelia–" Cedric began with a pained look but she interrupted coldly.

"Dont touch me!" She yelled and ran away throwing the towels off her. Cedric ran immediately after her calling her name, but she didnt stop. Hearing her name from his mouth brought tears again in her eyes, she hated being so weak for a boy.

"Amelia please stop, just listen to me once" He yelled from behind desperately.

"Why?" She yelled back stopping and facing him. He stopped in front of her with a pained look.

"Why should I listen to you? You used me!" She yelled furiously, her eyes blood red with anger and sadness.

"Please–" He began again.

"You used me for the tournament! Everything was a lie! You were pretending the whole time. The ball, my birthday, your gifts, whatever you said, whatever you did EVERYTHING WAS A LIE" She yelled furious tears running down her face. Cedric's heart broke at this.

"I thought you genuinely liked me, the way you talked to me, just everything, and i was a fool to think it was all real. You were with her the whole time. Once you got everything from me you went back to her, you didnt even feel the tiniest of guilt" She cried her knees going weak as she collapsed down on the ground bursting into tears.

"Just go away, go to her" She cried heavy tears streaming down her face. Cedric kneeled in front of her raising her chin with one hand she swatted away, but he did again.

"Amelia, look at me" He said in a hurt voice, making her look up at him in a blurry vision because of the tears.

"I would never do that to you in any life-" He began himself crying.

"You did-"

"No i didnt, I was under the love potion" He said his lips tugging downwards. She stared at him with her mouth parted.

"I swear on to the thing i love the most, I was under a love potion, Cho gave it to me, i was not in my senses Amelia, i swear" Cedric said earnestly.

Amelia stressed on his words everything made sense, the way his face was always blank at her, Cho asking for ashwinder eggs that day jn the kitchen, they are used in making the Amortentia potion.

"You were under a love potion.." Amelia said in disbelief and realisation.

"Exactly or why would do that to you Amelia, i would never use you, i would never fake what is between us, you are the special one Amelia. You are my Treasure" He said with a soft smile and teary eyes cupping her face.

Amelia's eyes glistened with tears, what he was saying was true. It was all just becaude of a potion. Amelia felt so stupid at the moment for believing Cho's act. She chuckled as tears rolled her down her cheek holding his hands on her face.

"It was not her, you-you didnt feel anything for her right?-" She asked not being able to form words.

"Its you. And it will always be you. Till the end." He said emphasising each word with a genuine smile. His words caused butterflies to erupt in her stomach.

"Its Me?" She asked looking in his eyes in a whisper.

"Yes, Amelia Sierra Black, its you and only you" Cedric yelled happily. Amelia launched herself in his arms holding to him tightly. He spinned her around picking her up laughing.

He set her down slowly pulling away to see her face tear stained but a happy smile still there. He wiped the tears from her cheeks draping an arm around her waist pulling her up and planting his lips on hers.

Suddenly it started drizzling but they didnt detach. Amelia's hands around his neck as always. She felt pure bliss at the moment, everything was back to normal again. He was still hers.

Slowly both pulled away resting their forehead against each other catching their breaths. Amelia opened her eyes to find him already looking at her. He set her slowly on the floor, before planting a loving kiss on her forehead.

"I missed you" She said looking up at him, her hands still around his neck.

"I am sure i did too" He said softly plucking a wet strand of hair behind her ear.

"Btw who won, dont tell me you lost, or i will kill myself right away" Amelia threatened suddenly enraged and dominating.

"I think i was the first one to bring my treasure back" He said grinning at her causing a smile to creep on her face.

"You better" She said with a smile.

"Now shall we go inside or you want to do a rain dance?" He asked knowing what her answer will be.

"The other one" She said cheekily he shook his head and held out a hand.

"May I have this dance?" He asked mockingly bowing. She gave her hand in his.

"But there's no music" she said.

"We dont need music" He said smiling at her, she smiled back, both began dancing just like they did on yule ball and her birthday.

"You look beautiful" He said placing a hand on her waist.

"Flirt" She said shaking her head cheekily. Both laughed happily dancing, spinning together.

Soon their dance changing to a weird rain dance, going weird with each other. Amelia felt like she was back to life now, her laugh, her smile, her happiness was back with him.

"Now lets go or you will sneeze the whole time on my face" He said laughing pulling her inside fighting her futile attempts to stay.

It didnt take long for the news to spread in the school that Cho used a love potion on Cedric, and now Cedric was back to Amelia. Both of them in Cedric's dorm drying themselves after the rain, the next day a party was organized in the hufflepuff common room for two reasons, Cedric's win, and other Him and Amelia back.

Amelia was changing in the bathroom of his dorm, when he suddenly heard her call from inside he asked what happened.

"I want clothes" She yelled from inside. He quickly took out her clothes from the bag which was left earlier when she stayed in his dorm and passed her the clothes.

"Nope, i dont want these" She said throwing them back at him from the little space in the door.

"Then what?" He asked confused.

"You must know better" He heard her, her tone was playful and suggestive. He chuckled an took out his shirt from his cupboard and handed it to her and chuckled on hearing a 'smart Diggory' from inside.

She came out wearing his shirt which reached her mid thighs and he instantly picked her up in the bridal style making her squeal and laugh.

"I swear you will give me a heart attack someday" She said laughing in his arms.

He laughed and spinned her around the room before taking her to the bed and laying her gently hovering above her. Amelia held a playful smile and blush adorning her cheeks.

"What is this behavior Mr. Diggory?" She asked playfully.

"What? I am on my best behavior or something could have happened till now" he said suggestively, making her look away to fight the deep blush arousing her cheeks. But her smile faltered as she remembered something.

"That day- um when– you and her came here erm did you both..  i mean i know you were under the potion and you couldn't deny what she said or did, did you erm-" She stuttered badly looking down fiddling with the buttons of his shirt, she didnt want to sound like a possessive or jealous girlfriend but couldn't help asking it.

"We didnt do anything" He said firmly with a small smile looking in her eyes. She could see he was telling truth and felt like believing him. She nodded with a smile, and he dipped down his head to claim her lips lovingly. Once agin that one feeling arousing in her heart.
