Today Cedric and Amelia had 'their date', none of them knew what her this was friendly date or the 'date date'. Amelia sat in her room with her wardrobe opened not being able to decide what to wear. She now understood the problems girls face when getting ready.

Hermione came in and saw a confused Amelia sitting with her chin resting on her hands. Hermione kind of got to know what the real matter might be because she was seeing her talking to Cedric a lot lately. Hermione smiled and went towards her.

"You should wear this and this" Hermione said plopping a white t-shit, a black high waisted jeans and a chrome yellow coat with a small woolen muffler. Amelia raised an eyebrow at her.

"On what basis are you suggesting me this?" Amelia asked pretending to be rude.

"I am just helping a helplessly oblivious girl for her date" Hermione said shrugging.

"Who said i am going on a date" Amelia retorted scowling at her, Hermione gave her the knowing look.

"Your face says it all" Hermione sing-songed. Amelia glared at her.

"I am not going on a date, just meeting a friend" Amelia said folding her arms looking away. Hermione hummed arranging her books.

"And on what experience are you suggesting me to wear all this if you think i am going on a date, huh?" Amelia asked smirking seeing the girl nervously fiddle with her books, Amelia laughed at her.

" I dont have any experience in dating, i just told what i have seen in movies" hermione said looking anywhere but at Amelia, Amelia knew very well she was lying.

"Okay granger, thanks for the advice, i hope i will provide the same help when you go on a date with weasly" Amelia said smirking picking the clothes which hermione decided and going inside the bathroom.

"I am not dating Ron" Hermione shouted from outside the door, Amelia let out a laugh.

"I never said anything about him" Amelia called laughing, she heard hermione stomp her foot on the wooden floor.

Cedric stood outside the gryffindor common room waiting for his date, everytime the portrait hole opened he would jump hoping it was Amelia. He had been on dates many time but this time something was special. This time his date was with Amelia and she was special for him.

The portrait hole opened again, Cedric who was leaning on the wall jumped to look who came out, but much to his disappointment it was not Amelia, it was the chosen one. Harry gave him a wierd look before asking.

"Hey Cedric, need something?" Harry asked awkwardly looking at the well dressed boy.

"Um nothing potter, just waiting for someone you can go" Cedric said awkwardly smiling at him, instantly the potrait hole opened and out came Amelia, dressed beautifully in the clothes decided by Hermione. Harry and Cedric turned to look at her, both of theirs mouth parted as they gawked at her. Amelia smiled at cedric completely ignoring Harry.

"Hi Ced" She said approaching him smiling. Cedric smiled back. Meanwhile Harry internally stabbed him, even he didnt knew why.

"Ready?" Cedric asked holding out his hand, Amelia smiled with a bit blush and kept her hand in his, he squeezed her hand smiling at her. They both left without even sparing a glance at the chosen one, who stood their glaring at their interwined swinging hands. The potrait hole opened again and Hermione stepped out coming beside harry, watching the other two go.

"See i knew it!" Hermione cheered grinning to herself. Harry turned to glare at her.

"What?" Hermione asked intimidated by his glare. Harry realised what was he even mad for, he didnt neither had a right nor reason to be mad at anything. He shook his head and ran inside the common room. Hermione watched from he left.

"Poor boy must be in trouble again" She muttered with pity shaking her head and moving on.

Meanwhile Amelia and Cedric sat in Hogsmeade drinking butterbeer. Cedric would take a glimpse at her every minute just to see how beautiful she looked.

"You know when i was a kid, i used to fight with sev everyday because he wouldnt let me drink butterbeer." Amelia said laughing, Cedric laughed along.

"I know you are a great fan of drinking, on the trip i saw several wine bottles lying outside your tents" Cedric said grinning, Amelia pouted at him playfully.

"Btw do we have anything else planned for today?" Amelia asked sipping her butterbeer.

" You just wait and watch" Cedric winked at her. They both visited almost whole diagon alley, by dusk Amelia had three bags of shopping done. Now they were standing outside Zonko's, Amelia said she wanted to buy some sweets for her slytherin friends.

"Let me help you there Madam" Cedric said taking the bags from Amelia's hands when she struggled to hold more things in her hands.

"What a gentle man" Amelia said grinning at him playfully. She bought yet another bag of candies and both of them went to the counter to pay.

" How much for these?" Amelia asked plopping the things she bought on the counter.

" 15 galleons, dear" The shop owner lady said. Before Amelia could reach out to bring money from her bag, Cedric already placed the amount on the counter.

"Not again cedric, you paid for everything, now its my turn" Amelia protested. Cedric chuckled at her.

"You pay for our next date" Cedric said winking at her, Amelia hit his shoulder playfully.

After leaving diagon alley, Cedric took her to a park nearby, it was almost dusk, and the weather was pleasant.

"Wow, this is beautiful, i never knew this existed" Amelia said amazed on the beautiful park, it was also not much crowded.

"I thought you would like it, come lets sit there" cedric said dragging Amelia by hand and sat on a bench under a pink flowered tree. The park was filled with sound of peaceful chirping of birds.

"I really wanted to go to some this peaceful place, no people, no noise, just everything so sweet and calm" Amelia said smiling looking around, she heard a hum from cedric and turned to look that he was busy decorating her hair with the small pink flowers falling from the tree.

"You are full of surprises Cedric Diggory" Amelia said looking at him in the eyes. Cedric gave a small smile before he felt himself leaning towards her. The both started bringing their face closer to each other, almost touching. Amelia's breath hitched when she felt their noses brushing, she didnt even realise she closed her eyes. They both had their foreheads resting on each others and then suddenly felt something soft place itself above their touching noses, it tickled them, They both fluttered their eyes open and instantly pulled away to see what that was, a fully grown beautiful flower, that fell in Amelia's lap, They both laughed nervously at this.

Amelia stood up dusting her coat to hide crimson red face, she kind of felt disappointment. Cedric stood up beside her holding the bags while scratching the back of his head.

" I think its getting, we shall head back" He said looking straight although he tok was crimson red. Amelia nodded and started moving, she hated herself for being so awkward. The silently reached hogwarts and Cedric insisted he would walk her to the gryffindor common room, as it was almost dark and many students were out on their trips. They reached outside the common room wher both halted and looked at wach other not knowing what to say.

"Amelia I wa-"

"Cedric I ha-"

Both started at the same time and chuckled. Amelia wanted to tell him she had fun today but couldnt find the correct way of saying it.

" You say first what were you saying?" Amelia said encouraging him to speak.

"No you say it was nothing important"
Cedric said waving his hand off.

"Um- okay, i just wanted to tell that i-i had fun today Cedric" Amelia said looking up at him, she knew her face was already red because of the moment.

"I had fun too, um- i guess bye?" Cedric asked nervously scratching the back of his head, Amelia nodded briskly smiling. Cedric turned around to leave but Amelia stopped him.

"Cedric stop" Amelia called causing the boy to halt on his steps and turn around to look at her. Amelia dropped her bags before running towards him. She stopped right in front of him looking straight in the eyes with an unreadable expression on her face.

"Ame-" Cedric started but was instantly cut off by Amelia jumping on her tip toes and attaching her lips to his. He was startled by the sudden action but felt himself melt and kiss back with same effort closing his eyes. He put his one hand under her chin to get more access and slowly draped other arm around her waist pulling her closer in himself, Amelia gasped in kiss with the sudden contact of their bodies, and Cedric took this as an opportunity to slid his tongue inside her mouth. Amelia was way shorter than him which caused cedric to pick her by her waist against his body.

Amelia found her arms wrapping themselves around his neck without detaching their lips. Her feet dangling while they melted in the kiss. Amelia felt his warm and soft lips against her making her feel pure bliss. She wanted to have more and more of it, but she was the one who slowly pulled away first out of breath. Even after detaching their lips, Cedric didnt let go off her, his one strong arm still held her by waist against his body. Both still had their eyes closed while they rested their foreheads against each other.

Once both caught their breath opened their eyes to look into each other's. Both of their faces were red, not knowing because of blushing or because of lack of breath. Cedric slowly let go off his arm around her waist softly putting her down but still held her closer. Amelia couldnt help but stare in his amber eyes. They slowly pulled away, no thought invading their minds, whole of their concentration was on one another.

"I think we should do it more often" Amelia said in less than a whisper before running back picking up her bags and running inside the potrait hole. Cedric stood there not knowing what she meant by 'it' the date or the kiss...

The golden trio inside the common room sat in front of the fireplace and saw Amelia come in with her face totally scarlet red. Harry looked at her curiously, his mind drifting to search for the reason for her smile and blush, he internally hoped it to be not true what he was thinking. The trio saw Amelia ran upstairs without sparing a single glance to anything in the room.
Hermione squealed loudly causing the boys to cover their ears.

"Omg she kissed, she kissed, oh god" Hermione squealed as if someone was giving her a 1000 galleons. Ron held an oblivious expression while Harry looked as if he was going to get sick.

"Who" Ron asked irritatingly.

"Cedric ofcourse, dont you know whats going on in the school" Hermione said as if it was the most obvious thing.

"Ohh that handsome hufflepuff, nice choice she has" Ron hummed impressed.

"She wont tell me a thing, god, what shall i do" Hermione whined running upstairs leaving the boys with a weird expression. Ron shook his head.

"Girls are unpredictable" He said standing up. He looked back at Harry who sat there deeo in thoughts.

"Are you coming or not?" Ron asked raising an eyebrow at him. Harry jerked instantly and nodded getting up going inside his dorm leaving Ron alone.

"Boys are unpredictable too" Ron said shaking his head at Harry.
