SIXTEEN HOURS . . . SIXTEEN HOURS SINCE THEY'VE been down and four till the lunar eclipse rises. Luna has been on edge and wondered if they were still in their moments or if they were really just dead. To add more to her list, Luna could feel the effects taking place from the full moon and the hunger in her was growing. She hadn't fed in a day and it was catching up to her but she swallowed thickly before looking down at the two teens in front of her.

Isaac and Lydia had fallen asleep on the hybrid's lap as she both began to tell them stories about her time in New Orleans, leaving her and Deaton awake.

The sound of gasping and coughing for air made Luna relax and the two teens lurch up from their sleep, they scurried onto their feet's and into the room.

"I saw it. I know where it is." Scott panted climbing out of the tub letting the water spill onto the tile floor.

"We passed it. There'sโ€”There's a stump. A huge tree. Well, it's not huge anymore. It was cut down." Stiles stated, "But it's still big, though. Very big."

"It was the night we were looking for the body." Scott explained making Stiles nod, "Yeah, the same night you were bit by Peter."

"I was there too, in the car with my mom." Allison piped up, "We almost hit someone."

Scott turned at her words, pointing to himself. "It was me. You almost hit me." He looked over to Deaton with a determined look, "We can find it."

Luna looked over to Deaton with a worried look which he returned making Allison frown. "What?"

"You guys were out a long time." Isaac stated. Stiles raised a brow, "How long is a long time?"

"Sixteen hours."

The three looked at the vet in shock at his words, "We've been in the water for sixteen hours?"

The hybrid nodded, "And the full moon rises in less than four."

AFTER TOWELS WERE DISCARDED TO THE THREE teens Stiles began to rant to the siblings about them not going back to Deucalion. "No, guys, you are not going back with them."

"We made a deal with Deucalion, Stiles." Luna huffed looking at the teen.

He shook his head, "Does anyone else think that sounds a lot like a deal with the devil?"

"Why does it matter, anyway?" Isaac questioned from beside Allison.

"Because I still don't think that we can beat Jennifer without their help." Scott pointed out. Allison shook her head looking over the vet, "They trust you more than anyone. Tell them they are wrong."

"I'm not so sure that they are." Deaton declared looking at the two. "Circumstances like this sometimes require that you align yourself with people you'd normally consider enemies."

"So we're gonna trust him, the guy that calls himself death, destroyers of worlds? We're gonna trust that guy?" Isaac questioned making Luna roll her eyes.

"We shouldn't with a terrible title like that."

Stiles looked at the girl was an amusing smile knowing he was the only one that heard it. Deaton shook his head, "I wouldn't trust him, no, but you could use him to your advantage."

Luna's head snapped towards him, "Deucalion may be the enemy, but he could also be the bait."

The sound of the bells from the door caused everyone to go silent, Deaton looked at the teens before going towards the front.

"I'm looking for Luna and Lydia." The sound of Ethan's voice saying her name made her perk up, Luna followed after Lydia seeing the Alpha in front of them.

"What do you want?" She questioned.

"I need your help." He simply said. And with that, Stiles came from behind laying his hand on Luna's shoulder peeking over, "With what?"

"Stopping my brother and Kali . . . from killing Derek." Everyone glanced towards the hybrid who froze at her boyfriend's name, she remembered her words with Kali saying she would kill him at the next full moon.

"Let's go."

"ARE YOU OKAY, LUNA?" LYDIA QUESTIONED THE still hybrid who kept her eyes on the loft doors, Ethan on her other side look at her as well. Luna knows that Derek who be mad at her for the decision she made for leaving with Deucalion but she knows she made the right decision.

"I'm okay, Lyds." She assured the teen before pulling open the door. Derek's head snapped over to the door before his breath hitching at the sight of his girlfriend along with Lydia and Ethan.

He released a growl at the sight of the Alpha, he went to attack but Luna sped over placing a hand on his shoulder to stop him from doing it. "Stop, he's here to help."

His eyes narrowed at the wolf making her sigh, "Listen, I know you're angry with me but I was doiโ€”" Her words abruptly stopped when she was pulled into Derek's arms, her eyes widened at his sudden hug. She smiled softly before wrapping her arms around him.

"I'm just glad you're here now." He muttered into her hair. She grinned before pulling away, his eyes met hers before her lips latched onto his.

"Alright, love moment over, blah, blah." Peter interrupted making Luna roll her eyes before glaring towards the former alpha, "Why is one of the Alphas here, that tried to kill us before?"

Ethan rolled his eyes, "We know about the Lunar eclipse, so don't think Kali's gonna sit around waiting for it to level the playing field. She's coming, and my brother's coming with her."

Peter nodded, "Good enough for me. Derek?"

"You want me to run?" Derek questioned, not looking at his uncle. He rolled his eyes, "No. I want your to stay and get slaughtered by an Alpha with a psychotic good fetish. Of course I want you to run. Sprint, gallop, leap your way the hell out of this town."

Luna looked at her boyfriend, "For once, I agree with him."

"See?" Peter dragged out pointing to the hybrid.

She glared at him, "Don't make me regret it."

"If you want to fight and die for something, that's fine with me, but do it for something meaningful." Cora suggested making Luna furrow her brows, she just remembered about Cora's state and wondering how the hell she got better. She'll figure it out later.

"How do you know I'm gonna lose?" Derek questioned.

"We don't, but I'll bet she had an idea." Peter nodded to Lydia. Luna looked over to the girl seeing all eyes were on her. "Don't you, Lydia?"

"I don't know anything." Lydia shook her head glancing towards the hybrid. "But you feel something, don't you?"

She blinked as Derek questioned her, "What do you feel?"

"I feel like . . .  I'm standing in a graveyard."

LUNA CLOSED THE DOOR TO THE DRIVER SIDE OF Derek's car where he sat. Peter following by closing Cora's door, "Don't call unless you're at least a hundred miles away."

The hybrid nodded in agreement, Derek frowned looking towards his girlfriend, "You have to come with us."

Luna shook her head softly, placing a small kiss on his cheek.

"I can't. I have to end this tonight. Drive all the way to New Orleans and stay with Rebekah, be with our daughter. I love you." She muttered trying not to cry, holding back the tears, knowing she doesn't exactly know how the night will end.

He gripped onto the steering wheel hesitating but she frowned, "Go!"

And with that, he did. She watched from beside Peter waiting until they exited out the lot, sending one last blank look to Peter, she took off to find her brother where he'll be waiting for her and Deucalion.

LUNA SPED THROUGH THE BEACON HILLS PRESERVE after just leaving Peter alone once they had gotten Derek and Cora out of there, beginning their journey to New Orleans.

The hybrid was the first to arrive her destination to meet the others, her gaze overlooking the town thinking how everyone would be sleeping peacefully in their beds that night, while they had to fight a battle. Footsteps approaching caused her to turn her head to see Scott, Allison, and Isaac were approaching.

Before they could ask any question, Deucalion approached from the woods. "Cutting it a little close, aren't we, McCall's?"

"We got a little delayed." Scott answered. His eyes scanned around Deucalion noticing that he was the only one and no other alphas. "Where are the others?"

"Occupying themselves with other pursuits." He replied.

"So it's just us three against her?" Luna asked the demon-wolf. He smirked just a bit, "I think you'll be surprised at what a good team we make."

Scott looked over to his ex-girlfriend and Isaac, "Okay, get Stiles, and then get to the root cellar, okay? We'll keep Jennifer away long enough for you to get them out of there."

"How are you gonna do that?" Isaac looked between both siblings. Luna and Scott shared a look before looking back at the others, "I have a plan."

Before Luna joined her brother next to Deucalion she pulled the two teens in her arms, "Be safe out there."

The two squeezed onto the hybrid mother before Allison muttered a shaking, "You too."

THE WIND BLOWING REMINDED LUNA OF THE MOVIE, Wizard of Oz, when Dorthory was stuck in her home in the middle of a tornado. Seeing the cow, chicken, or parts of the farm flying by her window. If Luna was to see a cow fly past the distillery, she was calling quits on the entire fight.

She stood beside Scott, the two standing next to Deucalion awaiting for Jennifer to show up. Scott had sent a little message of his own to the Druid, knowing she wouldn't pass up an opportunity to take on Deucalion especially since they'll be vulnerable during the lunar eclipse.

It didn't take long for Luna to see a silhouette approaching but as she narrowed her eyes, one turned to two. And a familiar one at that.

Scott looked at his sister to see her in complete shock. Jennifer smirked towards the hybrid knowing she had gotten her boyfriend to side with her.

"What are you doing?" Scott stated in disbelief.

He glanced towards the Druid before looking back at the siblings, "This might be hard to believe, but I'm actually trying to help you."

"I don't believe helping is the exact word." Luna growled narrowing her eyes. Derek sent the girl an apologetic look.

Deucalion was over the moon at the sight in front of him, "Ooh, a lovers quarrel. How very American is this."

He broke apart his cane before glancing towards Druid, pulling off his coat. "Are you ready, Jennifer? Hmm? Did you gather your herbs, pray to your ancient gods and your oak trees, slit a baby's throat, perhaps?"

Luna felt sick at his choice of words, she couldn't help but think of her daughter which made her more determine to put the woman down, for good.

"Should we show them why you needed to sacrifice nine innocent people just to face me? Or is it twelve now?"

The hybrid watched in horror at the sight of Deucalion's transformation, stalking towards the two in front of her. She's never seen him in his true form and when she did, she couldn't help but be sick.  Releasing a growl, he initiated the fight, Derek transformed going after Deucalion but he stopped him by gripping onto his arms.

Derek tried to break out of his grip but Deucalion chuckled evilly as he was much more stronger, Jennifer stalked over to the Alpha attempting to stop him but her powers did nothing.

Luna watched as he gripped both their throats, lifting them inches off the ground. He threw Jennifer along with Derek causing the wolf to fall on a bunch of tires.

Jennifer tried to attack the alpha once again but failed, instead he gripped onto her neck and forced her to her knees right in front of the siblings.

"Kill her."

Scott and Luna shared a look before glancing back at the Alpha. "Do it."

Luna looked down at the Druid watching her eyes the siblings for their decision. Seeing as they were doing nothing, Deucalion released a powerful roar causing the hybrid to wince in pain. Derek watched as she lifted up her head showing her fangs.

"Now kill her." Deucalion ordered. "Your parents are dying. That storm you hear, she's burying them alive. It's her connection to the telluric currents. Kill her, and it ends."

"It won't end. Not with me." Jennifer interjected looking at the siblings, "He'll have you both kill everyone you love. It's what he does."

"They're dying. Your mother and the parents of your best friends. Kill her now, and it's over." Deucalion stated. Luna grunted trying to fight the power trying to overcome her, she could smell the sweet blood coming from the Druid's neck. She coughed shaking her head.

"Become the Alphas you're meant to be. Become the killers."

Luna rose her head looking the demon-wolf, dead in the eyes. "They're not dead yet."

"And who's going to save them, your friends?" Deucalion chuckled.

Luna and Scott rose to their feet glaring at the alpha, a smirk overcoming her lips as Scott spoke his next words. "My pack."

Derek watched as Luna's eyes flashed their amber color seeing the veins become prominent under her eyes. Deucalion growled in anger before approaching the teens, he pushed the hybrid away causing her body to hit against the concrete wall. Derek grunted pulling himself towards her body.

Scott grunted as Deucalion gripped onto his hand and neck, forcing him to approach Jennifer. "Maybe you just need a little guidance."

"I forgot to tell you something. Something that Gerard told me." Scott strained out. Derek's eyes shifted towards Luna's hand to see her pulling something out her pocket.

"Deucalion . . . isn't always blind."

Luna gripped onto Derek's head covering him from the sight as she dropped the three flash bangs from her hands. The sparks flew everywhere, blinding the others.

The hybrid began to blink rapidly, slowly getting her vision back only for her to notice the lunar eclipse had begun.

"Are you okay?" Derek questioned pulling her up to her feet. She blinked before nodding.

"The eclipse. It started." Deucalion announced. Luna looked over to him seeing that he was back in his actual human form. Their eyes shifted to the floor only to see that Jennifer's spot was empty, she disappeared.

"Shit." Luna muttered.

Eyes slowly looked to the front of the distillery, the dirt from the storm was still up causing it to be hard to see past the door. Luna squinted her eyes to see a form emerging from the dust, she stared in horror as it released a ear-breaking shriek before slamming her hands against her chest causing her to fly back.

Her head bounced off the concrete from impact, she groaned in pain clutching onto her head. She could hear the muffled voices from behind her making the brunette shake her head once she could feel herself healing.

"What is with you people pushing me into walls?" Luna muttered in annoyance.

Picking up her head she saw her brother slowly come back together, she grunted dragging her way towards his figure. "You okay?"

He nodded wincing at the sharp pain, "Yeah, I'm healing."

The sound of Derek's pained grunts made the hybrid turn her head, she saw Jennifer slamming his body against a cement wall making her pull herself up despite the pain.

Jennifer lifted up the wolf slamming his body harder into the wall causing him to wince, she wanted to make him suffer for his actions. Suffer for not killing Deucalion after she told him.

"Let him go!" Luna snarled causing Jennifer to abruptly stop. Slowly turning her head she seen the angry hybrid standing tall, she scoffed looking at her with a smirk dropping Derek's limp body she turned to her.

"Luna McCall." She sneered. The two stood on opposite sides glaring at each other, "A hybrid right before my eyes. To think, we could've worked together. I could've made you become the most powerful unstoppable hybrid you could be, that even Klaus Mikaelson couldn't kill."

"I think I prefer the way I am at the moment. I don't exactly trust psychotic bitches." The hybrid spat making the Druid angry.

A sudden smirk suddenly filled her face, "One thing I know about hybrids is they're able to have control shifting with the full moon . . . but I don't know about . . ."

Jennifer slowly dropped her hand towards her neck making Luna's eyes as well, her heart began to quicken which the Druid slowly ran a hand on neck. "the blood lust."

With a quick wrist movement, the sharpness from her nails blood began to slowly drip from her neck.

"N-No." Luna muttered backing away, trying to block out the
