      AND SO AS THE NEXT MORNING BEGAN, LUNA'S Alpha journey had just begun. Lots of things we're headed towards their way and the mother had to be prepared for it. Everyone has demons, some choose to live with them or some get rid of them.

As promised, Luna and Derek returned Cora back to South America where she had made a life for herself, enjoying her freedom. Derek had explained to his girlfriend about the healing of Cora and how it stripped him from his alpha title returning him back to his steel cold blue eyes.

Scott returned back to school with his friends enjoying the rest of their school year, he could feel the darkness in him everyday yet he couldn't see it. But he knew his family would be there to get him through it all.

And as for Luna and Derek, well, the two were exactly how they should be. Happy. The two were returning back to New Orleans to bring their daughter home, where she would be loved by her uncles, her aunts, her grandmother, and her parents.

"Ready?" Derek questioned from beside her in the driver's side.

Luna's smiled widen scanning the white large home in front of them where the Mikaelson's had been keeping her safe. She nodded making the two exit the car.

Derek watched with loving eyes as Luna couldn't contain herself anymore, she sped into the home without knocking. He entered the home to see that she halted her steps in front of a room, tears pricked the corner her eyes.

The entire Mikaelson family stood before her eyes, Elijah and Rebekah sent the girl a large smile. Kol had his arm wrapped around Davina, Freya standing to his right welcoming the mother. Klaus turned his body greeting the young mother with her daughter in his arm.

Luna walked slowly up to the Original, her gaze kept of her daughter. Klaus kept a smile on his face as she placed her hand on the small cheeks of Hope.

"Hi baby." Luna cooed.

The Original placed the child into the arms of her rightful mother. Hope released a happy cry as she recognized the woman in front of her was her mother.

"Hi, Mama."

"Hi, baby. Mommy and daddy missed you." The wolf muttered, turning herself around to see Derek watching them with awe. "Say hi to dada."

"Daddy." Hope grinned showing off her baby teeth that were coming in. Derek could feel the tears stinging his eyes at the sight of his daughter who hadn't seen in weeks.

"Hey, sweetheart."

Luna slid their daughter into his arms making him smile down at her, the baby grinned pulling at her dad's shirt.

Everyone watched the couple reunite with the daughter knowing how much they missed her, the large smile on their faces that only Hope could give them.

"So it's true what people have been saying." Elijah stated. Everyone in the room could sense the power coming from the mother.

"And what have they been saying?" Luna questioned looking down at her daughter.

"The first True Hybrid walks the earth with the True Alpha by her side." Klaus smirked nodding proudly, "It fits you, little wolf."

Luna released a small laugh as Derek looked at her with a amused look. "A bit dramatic, isn't it?"

Rebekah shook her head, "All our lives we've heard about the tales of True Alphas but never once have seen one. Little Scott earned the title while you, Luna, become the first True Hybrid to stand before us."

"I think it's pretty badass." Kol raised a hand making everyone in the room burst into laughters.

Silence filled the room once again but Klaus clapped his hands making everyone turn to him, he held out his arms with a smile on his face.

"Since we've all come together, Derek and Luna have come home to be reunited with their daughter. I believe this calls for a celebration, hm?"

He pushed open the double door leading to the backyard revealing a dinner table filled with all sorts of meal courses. Luna grinned as everyone cheered making their over to the long dinner table.

Klaus approached the hybrid placing a hand on her shoulder, "It seems your daughter has something she wants to give you."

Luna furrowed her brows looking at her daughter to see her holding out something for her.

"You, Mama."

The hybrid grinned taking out the small box from her hands, she kissed her daughter's hands before glancing to Derek who shrugged. She couldn't help but see the excitement in his eyes.

Luna raised a brow opening the box before gasping in shock placing a hand over her mouth. She looked up at Derek, "W-Wha—"

"Marry me."

Her eyes widened at her words. Everyone sat in the table watching with anticipation, their smiles widen watching the interaction. She looked down the ring then to Derek. "What?"

A large smile over came his lips, "Marry me."

Luna's heart was beating quickly, the corner of lips upturn, she nodded. "Yes." She muttered.

"Yes?"

"Yes!" Luna grinned, Derek felt his heart skip a beat as she wrapped her arms around him, careful to not hurt her daughter. Klaus watched with a large smile as his family cheered from behind him.

Derek's lips laid on Luna's, she pulled away giving him a sight at the stars shining in her eyes that he hadn't seen in a long time. "I love you."

Her smiles widened, she pecked her lips as she rested a hand on his cheek. "I love you, too."

The moment couldn't have been more perfect for Luna, she reunited with her daughter, her and Derek were now engaged. And she couldn't be any happier. If we're being honest, Luna knew the happiness wouldn't last long, though she wished it did. Something was coming and she didn't know what it was that was coming or how how big the destruction would be. But when it does, she'll be there and ready to protect the ones she love.

After all, she is a True Hybrid.
