      SEVEN STOOD IN THE LIVING OF THE HALE LOFT planning the next mission. Hope sat on the metal table where the plans were spread across, her father behind her and mother in front of her across the table.

"Okay, you see this?" Stiles said pointing to a part on the blueprint. "This is where they got in, it's a roof top air conditioning vent. Leads down inside into the wall of the vault, which is here."

He circled around the word 'vent' in a red sharpie before finishing his explanation, "One of the robbers lured into this shaft. Now, that space is so small it took him about twelve hours to drill into that wall which is stone, by the way."

"Then through out the rest of the night, they siphoned the cash all the way up to the roof. Through that one little shaft on the wall." He finished his story, slamming his hand on the table making Hope slightly jump. Derek glared glare at the human.

Stiles muttered a 'sorry' before scooting closer to Scott, Luna looked at the two in amusement.  "Can we fit in there?" Scott questioned.

Stiles nodded, "Yes we can, but very, very, very barely. The also patched the wall obviously, so we're going to need a drill of some kind. I'm thinking maybe a diamond bit—"

Derek looked down at the table obviously annoyed from Stiles, "Look, forget the drill."

Stiles sucked in his lips looking over to the Alpha, "Sorry?"

"If I go in first, how much space do I have?" Derek asked making Stiles looked at the man in disbelief before looking to Luna who shrugged.

"W-What are you gonna do, Derek? Punch through the wall?" Stiles asked sarcastically making Derek cross his arms.

"Yes, Stiles. I'm going to punch through the wall." He sighed with a sarcastic smile on his face.

"Okay, big guy. Let's see that big fist. That big o'l fist. Don't be scared, big bad wolf." Stiles taunted him making the hybrid shake her head trying to the stop the human.

"Wouldn't do that." Luna said but Stiles wouldn't listen he gripped onto the Alpha's wrist before making a space between his hand and Derek's fist showing how much room he would have in the vent.

"You see this? That's maybe three inches of room to gather enough force to punch through solid st—" He was cut off by Derek punching his hand making him fall against the table and yelp in pain.

Hope's giggles ran through the loft as she watched Stiles yelp in pain. Everyone stared at the little girl with awe, Derek picked up his daughter as he kissed her cheek.

"He could do it." Stiles whimpered before letting out another pain sigh.

"I can get through the wall. Whose following me down?" Derek asked making Luna raise her hand. He nodded before looking over to Peter.

"Don't look at me. I'm not up to fighting speed yet. Honestly, with Isaac out of commission you are not looking at very good odds for yourself. You're lucky, you have a hybrid by your side." Peter said pushing himself up to a sitting position on the steps.

"So what? I'm supposed to just let them die?" Derek asked in disbelief.

"One of them is already dead." Peter pointed out.

"We don't know that." Luna said rolling her eyes at the wolf.

"Do I have to remind you what we're up against here? A pack of alphas, all of them killers. If that's not enough to scare your little testicles back into your stomach. Try and remember that two of them merge together, to turn into one giant alpha."

"Sure, Erica and Boyd were sweet kids." Peter mumbled to himself looking off. The original who laid on the couch stared at the man in disbelief.

"Well, now I could see that even Stiles has
bigger balls than you." Rebekah said making Stiles look at the blonde women with tinted cheeks.

"She's right." He smirked pointing to the blonde making Peter roll his eyes at the two, he crossed his arms in front of them. "Derek. Seriously? Not worth the risk."

Derek sighed looking over to Scott. "What about you?"

Stiles shrugged think Derek was talking to him, "Yeah, if you want me to come."

"Not you." Derek rolled his eyes making Luna grin at their interactions. Stiles pointed to Scott. "You mean Scott."

"I don't know about Erica but if Boyd is still alive, we have to do something." Scott said, looking over to his sister.

"We have to try." She agreed feeling her over protective mother senses kick in. "But?" Derek questioned. Scott looked over to him.

"Who's the other girl? The one locked in there with Boyd?"

      THE TWO WOLVES PLUS HYBRID WALKED INTO THE ALLEY looking for their entrance into the bank. Luna and Derek caught the look Scott was giving them, he was unsure about something. Luna raised an eyebrow as Derek voiced, "What?"

Scott pursed his lips. "There's just something I can't get out of my head."

Derek looked up at the moon before turning to Scott, "The moons rising, Scott. What is it?"

"Risk and Reward." He replied making Derek frown.

"Which means what?" Derek snapped, making Scott look at him. "We're not measuring the risk with enough information. We don't know enough."

"We know time's running out." Derek replied in a hurry. Scott nodded before looking to his sister with help."Yeah, but think about it. The put the triskele on your door for months ago. What have they doing all this time? Why wait until now?"

"We don't have the time to figure out every detail." Derek snapped.

Luna looked at her boyfriend, understanding where Scott was going, "But what if this detail, the reason why they waited— what if it's the most important one?"

"Then we do nothing." Derek replied, "and Boyd and Erica are dead. I know what I'm risking. My life for theirs."

Luna frowned at her boyfriend's words, her eyes narrowed making him frown, "We have a daughter now, Derek. You have me. I want to save Boyd and Erica as much as you. But we have to be careful."

Derek looked to both his girlfriend and her brother, Scott nodding in agreement with her words.

"And we will." He agreed, before jumping onto the hanging ladder, he paused before looking to Scott. "And I understand if you don't follow me?"

Both siblings looked at each other before sighing and going after Derek knowing they couldn't leave him alone.

It didn't take long for the three to make it into the vents. Derek managed to punch a whole through the wall allowing Luna and Scott to walk in after him where they met an unfamiliar figure.

"Boyd?" Derek questioned carefully as Luna came to realization that it was his beta. Boyd released a low threatening growl as he approached the three in his full form, Derek held out his hand. "Boyd."

"It's me. It's Derek." He said slowly taking tiny steps. Luna turned to Scott as his phone vibrated.

"Stiles, now is not the best time." Scott whispered into the phone.

"Scott! Scott! No, listen to me, okay? Look, you gotta get outta there. The walls of the vault are made with a mineral called Hecatolite. It scatters the moonlight." Stiles explained making Luna's snap her head towards the walls.

Her face dropped in realization, she glanced towards Boyd noticing his crazed eye state, "Oh no."

"What does that mean?" Scott asked his sister noticing her face. "It keeps the moonlight out, Scott. They haven't felt the full moon in months." Luna explained to her brother.

"Think of it like the gladiators in the Roman colosseum they used to starve the lions for three days, making them more vicious, more out of control." Rebekah explained through the phone.

"Deucalion has kept them from shifting for three full moons. Diminishing their tolerance to it." Peter finished making Luna's worry heighten up to a hundred for Scott and Derek.

"Scott, they're gonna be stronger, more savage, more bloodthirsty, Scott. They're the starved lions. While you, Derek, and Luna just stepped into the colosseum."  He finished explaining.

"Derek." Luna called for him making the man take his eyes off Boyd and meet hers. "We got a really big problem."

That is when both eyes traced back to Boyd as they heard a second growl emerge. Derek's eyes widen at the new wolf. "Cora?"

"Did you just say 'Cora'?" Luna asked looking over at the girl in front of them. Derek had told her about his family but he said she had died in the fire. Scott looked between the two, "Who?"

"Derek, get out." She released a heavily breath through her mouth, shaking slightly. "Get out now!"

Luna felt a tap on her side causing her to look at her brother, he nodded his head towards her side. She looked to meet a line of mountain ash. Her eyebrows furrowed as her eyes followed the line.

Her eyes widen at the opened vault door where and unfamiliar woman stood. She placed the remaining amount of mountain ash to fully close the line and leave the five stuck in there.

"No, wait!" Scott yelled at her, running towards the line. Both Cora and Boyd transformed into their wolf state releasing a growl. Luna slammed Boyd's body to the ground as he went for Scott. Cora growled before running towards the mother and slamming her body to the ground.

She raised her claw into the air to slice through Luna's abdomen but was stopped by Scott who threw her into the stone wall.

"You know her?" Scott panted leaning against the wall with Derek and Luna. He nodded, "She's my sister, my younger sister."

Luna looked over to her boyfriend, "How the hell did she end up here?"

"Like I have a clue. I thought she was dead." Derek shouted in shock. Luna's head snapped towards Allison who ran in front of the vault.

"Look out!" She warned the three. Derek and Luna both ducked as Boyd ran towards them but he gripped onto Scott. Luna watched as Boyd impaled his claws into Scott's abdomen and blood pour out of his mouth. Cora landed herself onto Derek.

"No! Don't break the seal!" Derek shouted at the huntress. Luna sighed in anger before letting herself transform as well. She felt the veins under her eyes and her eye color change.

Allison gasped when she noticed Luna's eyes change to red for a split second before turning back to her amber yellow color. Her fangs exposed before she pulled Boyd and Cora towards the middle.

The two looked at the Hybrid with a fierce look until Luna released a low threatening yet powerful growl. The two wolves whimpered before running out the vault that Allison had broke the mountain ash seal.

Derek angrily stalked to Allison before yanking on her arm. "Don't touch her!" Scott shouted as he held onto his wound.

"What were you thinking?" Derek growled at the Argent.

"That I had to do something!" Allison defended herself. Luna frowned pushing her boyfriend back, standing protectively in front of the huntress. "She saved our lives, Derek. She had no choice."

He huffed in anger before shouting at the teen, "Yeah, and what do you think they're gonna do our there? Do you have any idea what we just set free?"

"You want to blame me? Well, I am not the one turning teenagers into killers." Allison growled as she glared at the older man before walking off.

"No. No, that's just the rest of your family." Derek told the girl making her pause. She calmly looked at the alpha before shaking her head. "I've made mistakes. Gerard is not my fault."

"And what about your mother?" He questioned making Luna snap her head in his direction sending him a look to stop but he ignored it.

"What do you mean?" She raised her eyebrow in confusion. Derek looked over to Scott before signaling him to tell her. "Tell her, Scott."

Scott looked over between the three before setting his eyes on Allison, "What does he mean, Scott?"

Scott sighed before leaning against the vault door making Allison question him again, "What does he mean?"
