"I've heard the owners of the Weasley's Wizard Wheezes once created a whole ass pond in the middle of a corridor", said Hyunjin that saturday night, lazily turning the page of the magazine he was reading to hopefully find some inspiration ("Monthly special: 100+ harmless pranks!")

"That was a while ago", commented Changbin, who lay on the couch next to the friend. "And besides, they were already in their seventh year, and probably knew some tricks we still don't. How can you summon a pond?"

"Accio pond?" suggested Hyunjin, though he understood perfectly that Changbin had a valid point.

"We should try that though", commented the other Ravenclaw after a while: "maybe when it's spring, and we're outside..."

"Oh my, that would be amazing! If it works, then we're definitely trying it. But in the meanwhile, we need something good but more toned down..."

Hyunjin exhaled as he flipped another page: Turn your friend's food into delicios, strawberry-scented unicorn poop! was just not going to be it.

After the flop their waterball joke had had, โ€“ that remained a flop, even though Changbin kept insisting that they had still managed to create a decent amount of trouble โ€“ Hyunjin was convinced that there was someone spying over them, looking to get them caught by the school's staff.

And that thought, it was beyond unbearable: the Ravenclaw didn't care if the whole school suspected them to be behind at least two thirds of the pranks that happened there (which the school did suspect, and they indeed were behind them), as long as none actually was able to have the proof at hand โ€“ that was how it had always been, and Hyunjin loved it, because it created this sort of respectful aura that followed him everytime he entered a room; but still, the boy was not going to give it up so easily because of some random nosy stranger.

Changbin was less concerned about it: he'd always been less fond of the fame than the friend, and since the whole entirety of Hogwarts already knew who was architecting most of the pranks, he couldn't get too concerned โ€“ "It's not like people will be surprised or anything", he would say when Hyunjin would share his reflections with him.

"Yes, but in the meanwhile it will also be confirmed that it is us indeed!" would protest the younger as an answer, firm in his belief that it was mistery that made them famous โ€“ Mistery and doubt, to be precise.

"We need something... something crisp, you know?" he said after some time. "Something that will get people confused, but also in awe... something like that; I don't know, could be a sudden snowfall, or a fake Kappa, or..."

"A hidden Boggart!" roared suddenly Changbin, getting up on his feet.

"Shush, would you look at that mouth!", shut him up Hyunjin, dragging him back down on the couch. "Be discrete! Our secret spy might be hiding in this room..."

"Yes, whatever", commented the Ravenclaw, too excited about the idea that had come to mind to care. "A hidden Boggart is brilliant! We could put him inside one of the breakfast baskets, one of those we get to open ourselves that come up still sealed... we'd only need to sneak into the kitchens and ta-da! Breakfast served. Oh, I wonder if we could manage to get a Slytherin to open the basket..."

Hyunjin pondered the idea: after all, Changbin was not wrong โ€“ that would be a very good joke. If they managed to get a Slyth to open it, furthermore...

"I approve", he finally declared to an already excited Changbin, "yes, I approve. It'd make a very nice prank, truth be told... maybe a little frightening, but..."

"It would not be too bad" said rapidly the Ravenclaw. "It would happen during breakfast, in full daylight, with a bunch of other students and teachers to help. None would truly be in danger".

A little embarrassed at last, considered the younger Ravenclaw, but is it anything I can help? You can't hope to make it completely harmless...

"You're right", he concluded. "So now we just have to find a Boggart โ€“ have any idea?"

Changbin shook his shoulders. "We can do that on Sunday, while everyone is at the match. We'll be undisturbed".

"Again โ€“ I agree", commented Hyunjin; he found it kind of funny, when he came to think of it, that despite being a part of the Quidditch team they usually never took the time to go to matches: the time spent at school always ended up being more proficient and (as they liked to remind the rest of the Ravenclaw team whenever the ladders tried to get them to attend matches), "Five of you already are enough representatives".

Hyunjin let go of the magazine, and took some time to organize his thoughts before speaking out a proper plan: he'd have to be as meticulous as always to get the perfect end result.

"Okay" he finally said, and Changbin lifted his head from the other end of the couch to have a better understanding of the friend's words. "Here's the plan: on Sunday we wake up like normal, go get breakfast, then come up with some dumb excuse like forgotten homework so we can stay at school. Then we start searching โ€“ though it'll probably be in some old classroom's wardrobe, trust me. If not, we could always try a summoning charm. Then we force it into a small box โ€“ we could use that blue one in which you keep your perfumes โ€“ and lastly on Monday we wake up early, go to the kitchens before breakfast and sneak it into some random basket โ€“ not ours obviously, but still we sneak it in. Then we go have breakfast and see the outcome".

"Sounds good", replied Changbin, who'd payed attention to every single word from the friend, mostly nodding but sometimes making a few comments (like a reproachful "Hey!" when Hyunjin had told him about which box they were going to use), and was now eager to add a final opinion on the matter.

"But you forgot something", he said in fact, a smirk creeping on his face as he watched Hyunjin's reaction to the words.

"Impossible!" pouted the younger, shaking his head vigorously. "Just impossible. I've thought it through well, if there was a flaw i'd've seen it no doubt-"

"No you have not", replied Changbin. "You have said you want to SKIP THE MATCH SO WE CAN FIND A BOGGART AND HAVE SOMEONE FIND IT AT BREAKFAST ON MONDAY" these last words, he made sure he was standing up and being heard by most of the common room.

Hyunjin would've gladly stangled him โ€“ but what use? The damage had been done, and many comments such as "Good luck with that", "Let it be a Slyth" or "ARE YOU GOING TO SKIP THE MATCH? AGAIN?" (that one coming from their team capitain, Yeonjun) were already spreading around the Common Room.

Changbin quickly got up and made his way towards the stairs leading to the rooms. Hyunjin followed suit, red with anger, ready to tell the friend off once they'd be alone in their room.

"ONE LAST THING!" proclaimed Changbin before disappearing up the staircase: "DO NOT TELL THE TEACHERS PLEASE! Thank you in advance, very appreciated!" and with that, he was off.

"Have you gone mental?", complained Hyunjin, aggressively, following him suit. "You completely ruined our plan. How are we going to make it happen now that everyone knows-"

Changbin rolled his eyes, stopped and looked back at the Ravenclaw: "Have you still not understood? That's the whole damn point! How's our spy going to know about the plan if none tells them?"
