The loud, shrill sound of the alarm pierced through my dreams, dragging me out of a deep sleep.
I groggily reached for the clock, my hand fumbling as I desperately tried to silence the noise that seemed to echo in my ears.
Slowly, I sat up, rubbing my eyes and sighing as I realized it was time to start the day.
I made my way to the bathroom for a refreshing warm shower letting the steam ease me into the morning.
After finishing, I wrapped a towel around my body, brushed my teeth, and carefully slipped into my uniform, adding a pair of stockings for the final touch.
With my hair left loose, I clipped a few strands back and made my way downstairs, ready to start the day.
"Aww, so cute," my mother cooed as I sat down at the table. I grabbed my spoon and began eating my cereal, glancing at the clock as I chewed, not exactly expecting a lavish breakfast of pancakes or toast today.
"Mama, what time does school start?" Judo asked, his voice filled with curiosity as Mom gave him an answer.
I stood up, carrying my bowl to the sink and letting the warm water flow over it. "Is Dad at work?" Judo asked again, his questions coming one after the other.
"Alright, I'm ready," I said, setting my bowl in the sink and slinging my bag over my shoulder.
"Bye, my loves! Mum's got work today, so your dad and I might be late getting home." She informs us, I forgot to mention she works as a nurse.
Judo and I both kissed her goodbye before heading out the door together.
"Dummy," I said, nudging his shoulder. "What was that for!?" he grumbled, his brow furrowing.
I couldn't help but laugh. "You asked Mum way too many questions," I teased. He shot me his signature look that clearly said 'really?'
We kept arguing down the street, our voices growing louder as curious onlookers watched us with bemused expressions.

As we walked through the gates, all eyes were on us, and whispers spread like wildfire.
"Are they a couple?"
"She looks amazing!"
The chatter echoed around us, but I kept moving, absorbing the sights of the school-posters plastered on every wall, adding to the busy atmosphere.

As students streamed past, the sheer number of them made me feel a bit overwhelmed, but my brother reassured me it would be fine.
"Ms. Y/N L/N and Mr. Judo L/N, please report to the headmaster's office," the announcement echoed.
The headmaster's office? Seriously? They expect us to know where that is?
I grumbled to myself, but my brother tugged me along, muttering, "Come on, I think I know where it is."
We finally arrived at the door to the headmaster's office, and I gave a sigh of relief.
I took a deep breath before opening the door and sitting down next to my brother. "You must be D/N's kids," the teacher said, smiling. "He was one of our top students here."
I slammed my hands on the desk in disbelief. "Our dad went here!?" I blurted out, then quickly cleared my throat.
"Ahem... I mean, yes, Ms. L/N. He was well-known for both his intelligence and popularity."
I couldn't help but wonder how he had earned that kind of reputation.
"Anyway," he continued, handing us the keys, "these are for your shoe locker and changing locker."
"Before you two go, Y/N, you'll be in class 2-1, and Judo, you're in 2-2. You'll be in separate classes."
Judo grabbed his keys and headed off to find his classroom, while I did the same, making my way to mine.
I walked slowly toward my shoe locker, bending down to slip off my shoes, when I was suddenly bumped by a female figure.
"Gomen'nasai!! (I'm so sorry!)" she apologized, bowing deeply.
She was beautiful, and without realizing it, I found myself scanning her from head to toe. She caught me staring and blushed.
"O-oh, uhm... my name is Taeko! You're the new girl, right?" she asked, and I couldn't help but wonder how she knew.
"Y-yes, I am... My name is Y/N L/N," I replied, still staring at her. Her face lit up, and she smiled brightly.
"It's great to meet you, Y/N-chan!" she exclaimed with a warm smile.
"Yes... it's nice meeting you too," I muttered, but before I could say anything more, a tall figure with bright orange hair marched toward us.
"You dummy!! Why'd you run off like that?!" he growled, hands on his hips, looking annoyed.
I decided it was time to leave before anything else happens.
"I should get going. Nice meeting you, Taeko-senpai," I said, waving goodbye
As I turned to walk away, I noticed the strange guy I had encountered the night before standing nearby, watching us.
The male I encountered last night.
'It's him..." My mind was flooded with unsettling thoughts of the nightmare, but I quickly shook it off and made my way to the classroom just as the bell rang.
I stepped into the classroom, only to be met with the stares of every student inside.
The sudden attention made me swallow hard. The female teacher spotted me and offered a warm, inviting smile.
"Ah, welcome, Ms. L/N! Attention, class!" The entire class immediately quieted down and turned their focus from the teacher to me. "
We have a new student joining us today, so please treat them with respect," my teacher urged, glancing at me as if to encourage me to introduce myself.
I took a deep breath and nervously spoke, "I'm Y/N L/N, and I hope we can all become friends." I couldn't help but cringe at my own words.

An empty seat sat next to the guy I had seen the night before-yeah, *him*.
"Sit next to Ayato Aishi. Ayato, raise your hand," the teacher instructed. 'Ayato... so that's his name,' I thought to myself. He raised his hand, shooting me a cold glare.
I shrugged it off and sat down beside him.
I tried to focus as the teacher went over the lesson, though I couldn't recall exactly what it was about.
I grabbed my notebook and took notes, my mind wandering a bit. Finally, the bell rang, signaling the end of class.
I decided to catch up with Ayato, but before I could reach him, he left without saying a word.
"Hey! Ayato-kun!" I called, panting as I rushed over to him. He didn't respond, merely looking at me with a blank, emotionless expression..
"Yes?" he turned back, looking at me.
"I just wanted to ask if we could be friends?" I asked, watching him pause for a moment before he nodded.
"Yeah, but don't get in my way," he replied.
I raised an eyebrow. "Why? Do you like someone?"
His face flushed, his cheeks turning a soft red. "Maybe... Do you remember that girl who bumped into you?"
I gasped, my eyes widening. "Oh my gosh-!! Eek!"
Before I could say anything more, he quickly placed his hand over my mouth.
"Be quiet," he ordered in a cold tone.
I pushed his hand away from my lips. "Don't worry, I'll keep your secret!" I said, my mood shifting from nervousness to pure excitement as I fangirled over my newfound ship.
I watched as Ayato eyed his target-Taeko, who was talking to a boy I didn't recognize. Curiosity piqued, I took a closer look, only to realize it was Judo.
Then, I saw Ayato pull something from his pocket, revealing a knife.
"Whoa! You're not seriously going to just walk up there and hurt my brother, are you?" I quickly reached to lower his hand.
"I wasn't planning on that," he replied calmly, sliding the knife back into his pocket without missing a beat.
"Look, I'll help you get close to your senpai," I said with confidence, my words suddenly filling the air with a bold, assured energy.
"I have 10 rivals," he said, and I couldn't help but overhear. "Woah, she must be really popular then!" I chuckled softly, a hint of amusement in my voice.
"Yes. My senpai does have the looks," Ayato admitted, still watching her intently.
"Alright, I'll try to get her to have lunch with us, hm?" I suggested. His expression shifted at the idea, and he nodded without a word.
"Yes," he said simply before walking off. 'Jeez, this guy is crazy,' I thought, but I gathered my courage and made my way over to Taeko-senpai.
"Taeko-senpai! Would you like to join us for lunch?" I asked, hoping she'd say yes, my voice full of confidence.
"Of course!-w-wait, who's 'us'?" she asked, rubbing the back of her neck nervously. Just then, the carrot-haired boy, visibly irritated, watched us closely.
"Me and my friend Ayato," I replied, but before I could say more, Judo jumped in, patting me on the shoulder. "Is he your boyfriend~?"
I quickly swatted him in the face with a soft slap, turning back to Taeko to continue the conversation. She smiled and invited the carrot-headed boy.
"Osano, would you want to join us?" she asked, and I swallowed hard. I didn't want to seem rude, but I almost blurted, *Actually, it's just going to be me, you, and Ayato-*
No, I couldn't say that. Thankfully, he agreed, though he glanced at me before looking away as soon as our eyes met.
""B-Baka..." I heard him mutter under his breath. I couldn't help but smile wider.
"Good, okay, sayonara!" I said cheerfully, walking away with a grin, despite the soft hit I gave Judo's face earlier.
