A Year After The Great War

It had been a year since the fight against Rosalina and Harley Marwood, and Minho's and Chan's wedding was in a few weeks now. Everything was hectic, but Minho wouldn't have it any other way. He was getting married to the love of his life.

For a while it seemed like Minho's father had just disappeared, as there were no signs of him anywhere, until a few weeks ago when Minho felt a surge of power that didn't belong to him.

Nothing bad had happened, so Minho ignored it and instead focused on preparations for the wedding.

There was a shout of his name behind him and Minho turned around to find Felix, Kara, and Seungmin shoving each other as they raced towards him, all wanting to be the first to reach him.

Most buildings in Ariales were still destroyed and reparations were going very slowly, so the Thornletter family was staying at the castle in Aecerith until their kingdom was rebuilt. Felix was here because his family had been invited to the wedding and decided to come early.

The Hawthorne family had also come a few weeks early, along with Chan and Jisung's sisters. Corinthia had not been invited, of course.

"What do you two want now?" Minho asked with an exasperated smile.

"Come to the village with us!" Felix said excitedly, practically vibrating.

Minho raised his eyebrows. "Are you asking me because no one else wanted to?"

Seungmin shook his head. "We thought you could use a break! With the wedding coming up, everything has been so stressful, and you haven't had any time to have fun!"

Minho smiled fondly. These kids were so sweet.

"Alright, fine, I'll come."

Felix cheered and ran off in the direction of the front doors. Kara followed the younger boy and Seungmin turned to Minho with a smile. "Chan is coming with us too. We figured we'd leave you two alone once we actually got to the village since you guys haven't gotten much alone time in a while."

That was true. The only time Minho and Chan were alone was when they went to bed, and by the time they went to bed they were exhausted.

"Thanks, Seungmin. That's very sweet of you." Minho said, reaching up to ruffle the enderman boy's hair. He grinned down at Minho, his purple eyes shining with pride.

Minho giggled when Felix came racing towards them, jumping at Seungmin. The older boy let out a grunt and caught the younger, almost falling over. Minho smiled. It was nice to see them having fun.

"Good morning, love." Chan said as he wrapped his arms around Minho's waist from behind.

Minho giggled and leaned up, pressing a kiss to Chan's jaw. "Good morning, baby."

"Blech." Felix said, pretending to throw up. Seungmin grimaced and shoved Felix off of him. Kara cackled, only stopping when Felix kicked her feet out from under her.

Minho just chuckled at the boy. Felix seemed much happier than he had been when Minho first met him. Of course, there was still the problem with Felicity that Minho couldn't figure out for the life of him. He tried his best to not leave Felix alone with Felicity, either way. Felix's reactions to Felicity concerned Minho.

"Can we go to the ocean?!" Felix asked, still vibrating with all that pent up excitement.

The Kingdom of Aecerith was situated at the end of Phodeales, right next to the sea, but the ocean acted differently here than it did somewhere like Quekinsea or Kinoko. Since time didn't move in the kingdom, the water didn't either.

Time never moved in Aecerith, which meant anything that wasn't a time-related being, didn't move either. Any guests in Aecerith had to have special jewelry that was infused with timebender magic for them to be able to move. It was always quite funny to see Chan forget his necklace and freeze up.

"Yeah, we can go to the ocean, Felix."
