Scaramouche sighed and placed his phone on his desk. He opened up his book and continued his studies, which you had interrupted by texting him. Though, he didn't have to open up your text but he did it anyways.
"Did you tell her that I told you about her liking you?" Baal asked while picking up his empty glass of water which he refused to take back to the kitchen.
"No" he sternly stated. He seemed grumpier than usual.
"Why not?"
"None of your damn business"
Baal shook her head and put his glass back down on the table. She approached Scaramouche and put her arm on his shoulder. "You must've taken a liking to her too. After all, you rarely answer anyone's texts but hers" she whispered into his ear in a teasing way.
"Shut up, I don't like her. I don't even know her" he grunted, rolling his eyes.
"Right. And that's why you always get so moody whenever she stops texting you"
"I said shut up"
"I personally think she's nice. You could use someone like her in your life"
"For the last time, shut the fuck up"
"Don't tell me to shut up boy, remember this is my house you're living in. And mind your damn language" Baal didn't appreciate his disrespect. But his attitude towards her was nothing new.
"Ugh whatever. Let me study in peace you old hag," he pushed off her arm from his shoulder.
"Yeah well have fun denying the truth. You'll learn to accept it sooner or later," she teased him one last time before picking up his glass again and leaving the room.
He stuck his tongue out at her like a little kid as she left. "I don't care, I do not like her. Impossible" he mumbled to himself.
