"All is no longer good in Sunnyvale. New evidence continues to surface implicating Union County Sheriff Nicholas Goode the Sunnyvale serial killer. The family maintains they had no knowledge of Sheriff Goode's horrifying secret."

"No knowledge? What a bunch of dickheads." Josh cursed at the television as Deena put breakfast on the table next to him, "oh. Wow, um... thank you? But you know the doctor said I can't have any of... whatever that is."

Deena gave him a deadpan look frustrated that Josh didn't want the food she had worked hard to cook.

"Are you serious? I made those with ingredients and shit." Josh looked back down at the food with an apprehensive look poking the food before looking back at his sister. "Okay, whatever. Get in the car" She said as she took the food away.

As they got in the car Deena looked at Josh chewing her bottom lip slightly. Josh got seated and looked at his sister when she let out a breath.

"I'm going to visit Aurora later after school. Ziggy's going before me I think, she wants to see Nurse lane first. You're welcome to come too if you want?" She invited.

"It's okay. I'm going to see her tomorrow morning because there's no school. They haven't mentioned Aurora on the news..."

"It's still an open investigation, but all evidence points towards Nick."

Deena took a breath and turned on the ignition, putting the car in reverse and making their way to school.

Ziggy rang the doorbell, bouncing on the balls of her feet slightly in nerves. She hadn't seen Nurse Lane in over a decade. The door swung open and Nurse Lane looked at her quizzically. Ziggy held out the small diary that held so much meaning to both women.

Nurse Lane suddenly remembered when she caught the younger Christine Berman looking after the diary after being burned. Nurse Lane looked at Ziggy who only showed a hint of the girl she used to be. Ziggy smiled before stepping forwards enveloping Mary Lane in a warm hug.

Mary hesitantly wrapped her arms around the younger woman returning the hug. Ziggy stepped back smiling and asking if she could come in. She wanted to explain everything to Nurse Lane, she deserved the closure it would bring. The minimal comfort in the fact that it wasn't her or Ruby's fault that she killed all those people.

After visiting Nurse Lane, Ziggy made her way to visit Aurora carrying flowers. It was ironically an unnaturally sunny day in Shadyside, Ziggy thought Aurora would appreciate the humour that she found. Approaching Aurora she let out a sigh, the sadness drowning out her happiness of visiting her.

"Hey, Aurora. I hope you're okay, it's been strange without you barging into my house forgetting I lock it and walking straight into the door." She let out a laugh, "It's been a lot quieter without you around."

"I visited your parents, they're struggling but I'm helping, I think. Deena said she'd visit! I'm not sure if Sam is coming with her or not... And Josh is visiting tomorrow. Oh! I got you these, Daffodils, your favourite!"

Ziggy smiled as she sat down and laid the flowers on Aurora's grave. She traced the words on the headstone, "𝔸𝕌ℝ𝕆ℝ𝔸 𝔹𝕃𝔸ℂ𝕂", her parents refused to have Goode on it after hearing that Nick was a serial killer, "𝕃𝕆𝕍𝕀ℕ𝔾 𝔻𝔸𝕌𝔾ℍ𝕋𝔼ℝ, 𝕊𝕀𝕊𝕋𝔼ℝ, 𝕎𝕀𝔽𝔼 𝔸ℕ𝔻 𝕂𝕀ℕ𝔻 𝔽ℝ𝕀𝔼ℕ𝔻. 𝕄𝔸𝕐 𝕊ℍ𝔼 ℝ𝔼𝕊𝕋 𝕀ℕ ℙ𝔼𝔸ℂ𝔼 𝔸ℕ𝔻 𝔹𝔼 ℝ𝔼𝕌ℕ𝕀𝕋𝔼𝔻 𝕎𝕀𝕋ℍ ℍ𝔼ℝ 𝕊𝕀𝕊𝕋𝔼ℝ 𝔸ℕ𝔻 𝔽ℝ𝕀𝔼ℕ𝔻𝕊".

Ziggy looked to her left where Melissa was buried, they're parents had buried them side by side in Shadyside as most of their friends were from there and they wanted to lay them to rest where their hearts and friends were.

"I have an update, the police said that they believe Nick poisoned you and then killed himself from guilt. They're going to make a statement soon. I guess Solomon Goode wasn't lying when he said that if he dies so does the one he loved"

Ziggy looked at the bright sky Aurora was shining on her while forcing the tears back down.

"But you already knew that, didn't you? I forgive you and miss you... but I can't forgive the amount of goat decoration you had in your house"

Ziggy laughed continuing to talk to the woman she loved, who would still be alive if she loved her back but alas life doesn't work that way.

"Oh yeah, Deena told me... How did you manage to live with that?..."

Ziggy spoke for hours, laughing, reliving good memories. Aurora may be gone but she will forever be in her heart.
