you watched many different kinds of shows to know what love is or what it looks like, but seeing yourself in love was something you never anticipated.

you didn't believe you'd ever feel that way for anyone and perhaps seeing so many shows about romance raised your standards too high. you assumed the love of your life simply didn't exist.

fate decided for you to be single your whole life. or so, that is what you believed.

luckily, you have a friend who hasn't given up on you. she's tried many different kinds of ways to get you to fall in love with somebody but unfortunately, nothing ever worked.

you let out a big dramatic sigh as you watched the app downloading on your phone. you doubted this app was going to work. it was bound to fail just like all of the other dating apps beidou had made you try.

but you loved beidou, so you were willing to give this app a shot as well. if it meant making her happy.

once it finished downloading, you opened up the app and clicked on "make an account."

the first thing it asked you was your first and last name, gender, age, and pronouns. seems easy enough.

you filled it out accordingly.

the last part asked you to fill in your "bio." and so you did.

you blankly blinked at your bio for a few seconds before laughing at yourself. what the hell am i doing...

without giving it a second thought, you moved on to the next part which asked you to finally create your username and password.

you stared for a moment before clicking "make account." and there it was. you had successfully made an account on this dating app that you had absolutely no hope for.

while scrolling through it, you saw a bunch of different profiles. you didn't know how the app worked so you struggled trying to get the hang of it.
