The young woman woke up, feeling sore from sleeping on the loveseat. Why was it so cramped in? This was a good reminder for her to set her bed up today.

She got up, grabbed her phone, and dialed her friend's number. "Hello?" A deep voice came from the other side of the device. "Hey, Rod! Do you think you can stop by later? I just moved into my new house, and I need some help, especially with setting up my bed."

"Of course I can. Do you mind if I bring my brother with me? He could help me put your bed up."

"I don't mind. Bring him. The more help we get, the faster and easier everything will be. I'll seeya later, Rod!" He bid her goodbye as well. Hanging up the phone, Y/N checked the time. 7:10 AM. She gasped. She was supposed to be at the airport ten minutes ago!

Pulling her shoes on, Y/N snatched up her keys and ushered out of the house.

She checked the time once again as she got out of the car. 7:56 AM. She was 46 minutes late. Sighing, she walked into the airport, looking around for her mom and sister.

"Y/N!" She heard her mom yell. A woman and a child walked up to her. "You're nearly an hour late! What were you doing?"

"Nothing. I moved, and I was trying to get help with setting everything up. Sorry I'm late." She smiled apologetically. Mom shook her head but gave her daughter a small smile. "It's fine. At least you're here now." The woman turned and bent down to her youngest daughter, giving her a kiss on the forehead. "Be good for your sister, ok? You'll only stay for fall break."

The girl nodded at her mom. "Bye, mom."

"Bye bye,Vir. Bye, Y/N. I'll see you guys soon. I love you, Vir." She waved to her daughters. She nudged her husband. "Say bye to your kids, Tyler." Their dad waved to them.

"Bye mom, bye dad!" The couple drove off. Y/N looked down at her sibling. She held her hand out. "Let's go, Vir." The girl gripped her sister's hand.

Y/N returned to her mansion with her little sister, Virena. "This is where you're living now?"

The woman parked her car. "Yup!" She got out as her sister followed after. "It looks rundown and creepy." They walked up to the door. She unlocked it, entering the house. "That may be, but it looks better on the inside, trust me. Come on," she urged her sister in. The little girl put one foot in the house, unsure if she wanted to come in.

She pulled the girl in. "Just sit there for now," she pointed at the loveseat. "My friend and his brother are coming over to help me unpack and set up." Vir put her bookbag on the furniture, setting it next to her. "Can I play your phone?" Y/N shrugged and tossed the phone on the seat. "Sure. Wouldn't want you to be bored while I'm cleaning and all."

Her friend, Roderick, and his brother came over with tools. "We'll need these for your bed or anything you wanna hang up," Rod said, holding the box of tools up. "This is my brother, Cameron." He gestured to the male standing beside him.

"Perfect. Cameron, nice to meet you." She shook his hand. "Likewise," he replied. She waved the two men in. "That's my sister, Vir." She pointed at the little girl. "Vir, do you remember Roderick?"

The girl nodded, saying hello to the man. He greeted her back as they proceeded to unpack Y/N's belongings, putting everything into place.

They made it up to her bedroom. She watched as the two put her bed frame together and set up her bed, as she chimed in from time to time to help them. They'd get this done faster than she thought.

"Alright, everything's done." The woman gazed around, soaking in whatever details she could, small or big. "Wow, this is great. Now all I need to do is go grocery shopping."

"Do you need assistance with that, too?" Rod asked. She shook her head, waving him off. "Nope. I appreciate it, though."

She walked with them to the door. "Thanks so much, guys. I'll be sure to invite you guys over once I get used to living here. After all, it wouldn't be comfortable for you guys if it wasn't for me."

"True. I'll see you later, Y/N." The woman nodded.

"Seeya, Rod. Cameron," She nodded at him, which he copied. The siblings left, leaving the woman with her own.

Sitting on the couch, Y/N snatched her phone out of Vir's small hands. "I was playing that!"

"Sorry. I'll give it back. I'm going grocery shopping tomorrow, so for tonight, I'll order us something. What do you want?"

"Pizza?" She shook her head at the child. "Typical. Choose something else." Vir thought, then shrugged. "You pick, then."

"Cool. We're getting wings." She dialed up Rachel's Wing Shack, ordering hot wings for herself and regular wings for Vir, with a side of fries.

"The food will be here soon," she stated, handing the phone back to her sister. "Ok."

Standing up, Y/N made her way to the kitchen, planning to get something to drink for them. She wasn't gonna pay any more money for something she already had at home.

She opened the fridge, grabbing two Capri Suns. Standing tall, she turned to exit the kitchen. She stopped, standing still. The pantry door was slightly open.

The woman hadn't even gone in there. She swore it was closed.
