"Y/N, make sure you're at the airport on time, so you can pick up your sister!" The woman bent her neck to the side, holding the phone between it and her shoulder as she carried a box inside her new home. "Alright, mom, I know! I'll be there."
"Ok, I'm just making sure! You're not very good at being on time." She rolled her eyes as she struggled to walk up the stairs. "Ha ha. Bye, mom. I'll be at the airport tomorrow."
"Bye honey! Remember, 7:00 on the dot!" Groaning, she hung up the phone. Opening the door, she dropped the box on the floor, dust flying everywhere. She coughed, waving the dust away. "Jeez! When's the last time this place was cleaned? Guess I'll have to do it myself."
Y/N finished moving the boxes in. "Now I just need to unpack. First things first, let's get this place cleaned up." She said, cringing at a cobweb sitting in a corner of the room. It was huge, reminiscent of a ballroom. It made sense. From what she looked up, this house has been up since the 1800s. Good thing the corpses had been moved. Otherwise, she wouldn't have bought this thing. She wasn't exactly phased by that information, anyway. They couldn't haunt her. After all, ghosts didn't exist.
She snapped on some gloves, put a mask over her face, and held some cleaning utensils. "Let's cleanse this bad boy."

It took her forever, but she finally finished cleaning the house. She glanced outside. It was dark out. Y/N checked her phone. 9:00 PM. She yawned. "I'm exhausted. I'll set everything up tomorrow." She grabbed a blanket, settling herself on the cleaned loveseat as she fell asleep.
Someone was watching her.
