Me, Harry, 'Mione and Ron where all sat at breakfast trying to create conversation with eachother, normally we have no trouble but with the only thing on our minds being Buckbeaks execution non of us really wanted to say anything.

And it's all that scraggly fake blonde Malfoys fault. If he wasn't such an over reactive drama queen then Buckbeak wouldn't of been sentenced to death.

"Guys I know non of us really want to talk right now but we should go and see how Hagrids doing." I said to them all once we had finished.

"Yeah I agree, he must me devastated." 'Mione said and Ron nodded.

Harry walked slightly behind us in silence so I slowed down so our pace would match.

"Are you okay Harry?" I asked him.

"Yeah I just feel so bad for Hagrid." He said to me.

"I know me too." I said to him and took his hand in mine.

We walked into the direction of Hagrid' hut when we were stopped on top of the hill overlooking the forbidden forest.

"Ah come to see the show?" Malfoy asked.

"You! You foul, loathsome, evil little cockroach!" Hermione said pointing her wand up to the platinum blondes neck.

"Hermione no, he's not worth it." Ron said.

"Let the woman continue." I half whispered to him.

Malfoy and his fan club laughed once 'Mione moved her wand causing me to walk forwards to stand with her incase they try any funny business.

Then like the badass she is 'Mione punched him straight in the nose.

"Malfoy are you all right?" A member of his posse asked.

"Wait, I've got one more thing for you ferret boy." I said to him when he started to run away.

Then I simply kicked him right in the area where it hurts the most.

"Be more respectful next time you brat." I shouted at him whilst he was running away.

"Woah." Harry said.

"That was bloody brilliant both of you!" Ron spoke.

"Thanks now come on we need to get to Hagrid." 'Mione ordered and we all followed her down the hill.

We stood at the door to Hagrids hut and whilst Ron knocked, I couldn't help but stare at the hipogriff who was going to be unfairly executed and it's all that blonde gits fault.

"Wha' yer all doin' 'ere?" Hagrid asked us and knocked me out of my daydream.

"We just wanted to see how you were, with... um you know." I said to him.

"Tha's very kind of yer Y/n but it's gettin' late yer all should be in bed." He said as we walked into his hut.

"Now 'specially you 'arry, don' let anyone catch yer out this late." Hagrid said to us.

"We know but we just wanted too be with you when it happens..." 'Mione said, trailing off her words.

"I will not 'ave yer seein' such a thing." He said, I assumed he wouldn't want us there when it happened and I tried to tell everyone but they didn't listen.

"Anyways while' yer 'ere, I've got something for yer Ron." Hagrid said whilst handing Scabbers his rat to Ron.

"Scabbers!" Ron exclaimed.

"Yer really should take better care of yer pets Ron." Hagrid said to my ginger friend.

"Ahem, I think you owe someone an apology." 'Mione said.

"Ah yeah when i see crookshanks I'll make sure to apologise." Ron said back to her.

"I meant me!" Hermione said.

'Mione sounded like she would scream at him any second now until a pot behind the arguing friends broke.

"Wha' was that?" Hagrid asked and I made my way over to the table and took the weird shaped stone in my hand.

"Ow!" Harry half shouted.

"Are you okay Harry?" I asked him.

"Yeah..but look someone's coming." He said

"Crickey, you lot need to get out of 'ere, don't let 'em see yer." Hagrid said, rushing us out of his hut.

We all ran out of the back door and hid behind some pumpkins until 'Mione jumped and swung her head around to look at the trees behind us.

"What's wrong 'Mione?" I asked her.

"I just thought I saw... it's nothing." She said to me.

Once The Minister, Dumbledore and the executioner were inside Hagrids hut we all ran up the hill towards where we had came from.

By the time we had gotten up the executioner was outside getting ready to swing. I winced at the thought and couldn't help but let a tear roll down my face.

Once the executioner had swung the axe, many of the surrounding crows flew away.

Harry must of noticed my sadness as he pulled me into a hug, I didn't pull back and wrapped my arms around his neck and hid my head in his necks crook.

"Ow! Scabbers bit me!" Ron exclaimed as his rat jumped from his grip and ran away.

Ron immediately ran after his rat.

"Ron wait!" Harry screamed.

Once Ron had caught up to his rat I looked up at the huge tree towering over him.

It looked like Hermione had the same thoughts as me. "You two, you do realise what tree this is?" 'Mione asked is both.

"Yes.. it's the whomping willow." I said gulping.

"This isn't good, Ron!Ron!" Harry screamed his name.

Ron's face soon turned into a face of pure worry.

"Harry, Hermione, Y/n run! It's the grim!" Ron screamed. I quickly bolted my head around too see a big black long haired dog growling as it approached us.

I immediately grabbed Harry's hand and pulled him out of the way of the now running dog, who I thought was going to attack Harry. But it instead ran straight over to Ron and grabbed his leg with ur mouth and started dragging him towards a hole at the base of the willow.

"RON!" Hermione and I screamed.

"Harry! Harry!" Ron cried as he was being dragged by the dog.

Me, Hermione and Harry all ran after him in attempts to save him.

"RON WAIT!" I screamed as all three of us ran faster until he was being dragged into the base of the whomping willow.

Harry tried to grab onto his arm but Ron slipped out of his reach.

I was about to crawl into where ever the home lead until one of the branches of the tree hit all three of us away.

"This isn't good, this isn't good at all." 'Mione said dodging branches that were being flung towards us.

"Come on." Harry said, grabbing my hand and like me and Hermione, dodging branches.

Harry had been flung over to the other side of the tree.

"Harry!" I screamed and started running over to him until a branch of the willow picked me up and I had no choice but to cling on.

I ended up picking Hermione and Harry up by their sleeves and we were all swinging round the tree together. (Why does that sound fun, never mind.)

"LET GO." Hermione yelled.

"Are you mental?" I half screamed.

"Just do it. 3.....2......1..... NOW!" And we all let go and went flying through the hole.

"Uggh." (Imagine the landing noise.) I said as I landed on something which I realised was Harry.

"Sorry.." I said to him as I helped him up but we were soon knocked down by Hermione falling on top of us knocking us down again.

"Sorry you two." She said.

"It's alright." Me and Harry said simultaneously.

"Where do you suppose this leads to?" I asked whilst walking up the creepy steps in the willow.

"I have a hunch.. I just hope I'm wrong." Harry said.

As we walked further up the pathway we came to a trap door. Of course we all climbed through it and we came face too face with what looked like an old building.

"We're in the shrieking shack." Hermione said and we all kept walking, searching for Ron.

"Come on." Harry whispered.

We walked up the last set of stairs and heard a familiar cry.

"Ron!" I said running into the room the redhead was sat in.

"Ron are you okay?!" Hermione asked.

"The dog. Where is it?" Harry asked.

"Harry it's a trap! He's the dog! He's an animagus!" Ron said.

The three of us turned our heads too find dog footprints eventually leading to human ones.

The door slowly creaked open to reveal a really scruffy looking man. It took me a second to realise who it was but then it hit me.

Sirius Black.

My 'Dad'.

I quickly stepped in front of Harry. Trying to protect him from the maniac murderer.

"If you want to kill Harry you will have to kill us too." I shouted at him.

"Y/n?..." he said sounding almost upset but soon changed back to his murderous self.

"No. Only one will die tonight."

"Then it will be you!" Harry said lunging at Sirius.

Harry dragged him to the floor by his throat and pointed his wand at him.

"Are you going to kill me Harry?" He asked whilst laughing.

Suddenly the door came crashing open and there stood Professor Lupin.

"Expelliarmus!" He shouted and disarmed Harry.

Lupin had his wand pointed at my dad and made a gesture with his head telling Harry to move.

As he ran over I grabbed his hand in mine.

"Well, well Sirius, Looking rather ragged aren't we. Finally the flesh reflects the madness within." My Professor said to my dad who was still laying on the floor.

"Well you would know all about the madness within wouldn't you Remus." Sirius said as Lupin lowered his wand and helped him get up.

I really couldn't believe my eyes. I thought he was good.

I really trusted him.

Professor Lupin and Sirius hugged.

"I found him." My dad said, I gripped harder onto Harry's arm.

"I know."

"It's him."

"I understand."

"Let's kill him!" My Father said.

"NO!" I screamed.

"We trusted you! And all this time, you've been his friend!" I shouted.

"He's a werewolf! That's why he's been missing classes." Hermione told Harry and Ron.

We had discovered that our Professor was a werewolf not long ago. But It didn't really make much of a difference.

"How long have you known?" He asked, making his way towards me and Hermione.

I felt Harry pull me back and grip onto my waist.

"Since Professor Snape set the essay." She said.

"Well, well Hermione, you really are the brightest witch of your age I have ever met." The Professor said.

"Enough talk Remus! Come on let's kill him!" My deranged father said angrily.

"Wait." Lupin said.

"I did my waiting! 12 years in Azkaban!" Sirius screamed.

"Very well. Kill him. But one more minute Harry has the right to know why." Remus said.

I finally stepped forward, Harry tried to stop me but I pulled against his grip.

"He knows why! Your the reason his parents are dead." I said begging to get angry whilst looking in my fathers direction.

"No Y/n it wasn't him. Somebody did betray his parents. Somebody who until quite recently I believed to be dead!" Lupin said.

"Who was it then?!" Harry shouted, stepping forward to stand beside me.

"Peter Pettigrew!" Sirius shouted. "And he's in this room, right now!"

"Come out, come out Peter! Come out and come and play!" He screamed like a psychopath.

"Expelliarmus!" Snape said disarming my Father.

"Ah vengeance is sweet, how I hoped to be the one to catch you."

"Severus." Lupin said, making his way towards the other Professor.

Snape quickly pointed his wand at Lupin and he stepped backwards.

"I told Dumbledore you were helping an old friend into the castle and now here's the proof." Snape said.

I couldn't help but think there was something more to this. Especially Peter Pettigrew.

"Brilliant Snape as usual you put your keen and penetrating mind to the task and as usual come to the wrong conclusion." My Father spoke.

Me, Hermione, Harry and Ron all stood at the other side of the room watching.

"Now if you will excuse us, Remus and I have some unfinished business to attend too." Sirius said walking towards Snape.

"Give me a reason, I beg you." Snape said.

"Severus don't be a fool." Professor Lupin said.

"He can't help it it's habit by now." My Father said and I chuckled a slight bit until Hermione nudged me.

"Sirius be quiet." Lupin said.

"Be quiet yourself Remus!" Sirius said.

"Look at you two, quarrelling like an old married couple." Snape said.

"Why don't you run along and play with your chemistry set." My dad said and I chuckled again until Hermione gave me another look like I was crazy.

" I could do it you know, but why deny the dementors, they are so longing to see you. Do I detect a flicker of fear? Ah yes the Dementors kiss, one can only imagine what that must be like to endure. It's said to be unbearable to witness but I will do my best." Snape said jabbing his wand into My Fathers neck.

"Severus please." Remus said.

"After you." Snape retorted. And nodded his head towards the door gesturing for us to get out.

I felt Harry's arm slip behind me and pull my wand out of my pocket.

He aimed it at my dad before pointing it at Snape.

"Expelliarmus." He said and Snape went flying backwards towards the back of the room.

"Harry what did you just do?!" Ron asked.

"You attacked a teacher!" Hermione half shouted.

I knew Harry was thinking the same thing as me.

"Tell me about Peter Pettigrew." Harry said still pointing my wand at both of the men.

"He was at school with us, we thought he was our friend." Lupin said.

"No Pettigrews dead, you killed him!" He said to my father.

"No he didn't! I thought so too until you mentioned seeing Pettigrew on the map." Lupin said.

"The map was lying then!" Harry shouted.

"The map never lies!" Sirius shouted.

"Pettigrews alive! And he's right there!" Sirius said pointing to Ron.

"Me? He's mental?!" Ron said panicking. I mean I would be if I was him.

"Not you! Your rat!" Sirius shouted.

"Scabbers? He's been in my family for-" Ron was saying until he got interrupted.

"12 years! Curiously long life for a common garden rat! He's missing a toe isn't he?!" My father said and we all looked towards Ron.

"So what?" Ron asked.

"All they could find of Pettigrew was his f-"

"Finger! The dirty coward cut it off so everyone would think he was dead! And then he transformed into a rat." Sirius said.

This strangely all made sense. If it was true, Peter must of been an animagus. And that would mean my dad was innocent. I stayed silent for a while as I didn't want to interrupt Harry finding out the truth.

"Show me." Harry said.

Sirius grabbed a hold of Scabbers but Ron was trying to hold onto him.

"Give it to him Ron." Harry said.

"What are you trying to do to him?" Ron asked.

"Scabbers! Leave him alone!" Ron screamed and Hermione held him down.

Scabbers ran all around the room dodging the spells from Sirius and Remus.

Until finally there he was. Peter Pettigrew. Stuck in a wall. My dad was innocent, I couldn't believe it.

Remus and Sirius pulled him out of the wall.

"Oh my god." I whispered.

"Remus? Sirius? My old friends!" Peter said walking towards the pair with his arms stretched out.

Peter then walked towards Harry.

"Harry, look at you, you look so much like your father. Like James, we were the best of friends!" Peter said and I stepped in front of Harry to keep him away from Peter.

"Oh Y/n sweet girl, you are a splitting image of your mother!" He said to me.

"Get the fuck away from me." I snarled at him.

"Get away from my daughter!" Sirius said running towards us.

"How dare you talk about James and Rose in front of them!" My father screamed.

"You sold James and lily to Voldemort didn't you!" Lupin shouted angrily.

"I didn't mean to! The Dark Lord, you have no idea the weapons he possesses, think about it Sirius, what would you have done?" Peter asked my dad.

"I would of died! I would of died rather then betray my friends and the love of my life!" My dad screamed.

Peter crawled under the table to try and escape until I stopped him.

"Y/n, Rose wouldn't of wanted me killed, your Mum, your mum would of saved me, she would of shown mercy." He said to me.

"Well too bad I don't give a fuck." I said to him and kicked him in the stomach.

"HA yes that's my daughter. Now you should of realised Peter that if Voldemort didn't kill you then we would! Together!" My Father shouted.

"No!" Harry screamed.

"Harry what the fuck are you doing?" I asked him in a whisper.

"Harry, this man s-"

"I know what he is. But we will take him too the castle." Harry cut Lupin off.

"Bless you boy, oh bless you." Peter said getting up on his knees.

"Get off, I said we will take you to the castle, after that the dementors can have you." Harry said and I smirked, yes Harry.

We then started to walk out of the shrieking shack and I was yet still to have a proper conversation with My Dad.

"Sorry about the bite, I reckon that hurts a bit." My Dad said carrying Ron with his injured leg.

"A bit?! A bit! You almost tore my leg off!" Ron said.

"Well I was going for the rat, normally I have a very sweet disposition as a dog in fact more the once James suggested that I made the change permanent, the tail I could live with but the fleas. They're murder." Sirius said.
