"I'll see you tomorrow?" Reece said, smiling at Marjorie.
"Yeah. See you then." Marjorie smiled, walking him to the door.

Marjorie watched as Reece climbed in his car and drove off. She shut the door and closed her eyes. She can't believe she had Reece kiss her. What was she thinking? Marjorie sighed and opened her eyes to find Carly sitting at the top of the stairs.

"Good god." Marjorie said, placing a hand to her chest. "You scared me."
"Sorry." Carly said.
"It's fine. You okay? How long have you been awake?" Marjorie asked, walking up the stairs to sit next to her.
"Not long. I saw Reece was over?" Carly said, resting her head on Marjorie's shoulder.
"Yeah. Autumn was too. It was fun." Marjorie smiled, placing her arm around Carly.
"I bet." Carly smirked.
"What does that mean?" Marjorie said, looking at Carly.
"I saw you and Reece in the kitchen. You guys kissed." Carly said, laughing.
"Dear god. Let me guess, you talked to Autumn." Marjorie said, her face going red.
"Yeah." Carly shook her head.
"Autumns gonna murder me." Marjorie said, laughing.

Marjorie's phone started ringing so she went back downstairs to answer it. She saw it was Autumn. Fuck.

"An eavesdropping apprentice said you kissed my brother?? More like you had him kiss you????" Autumn said, raising her voice.

"I—- yes. We did." Marjorie said, letting out a sigh.
"Was he a dick about it?" Autumn asked.
"No. He was perfect." Marjorie said.
"Good. All I care about. See you tomorrow Marjorie." Autumn said, hanging up the phone.

Marjorie shut her phone off and laughed. Autumn, who hates her brother, is chill with him kissing Marjorie? She shook her head and saw she got a text from Reece.

Reece: Is Carly supposed to be with me this week?

Marjorie: yeah, why?

Reece: She's not on my list

Marjorie: Fuck. I updated it on paper, not online. I'm headed to the work now, I'll drop off the papers

Reece: No worries, take your time.

Marjorie quickly got dressed and headed to the nursery, dropping Carly off first. She then walked in the office and started looking through her drawers.

"Do you want to tell me why you are acting so weird?" Autumn said.
"No. It's nothing. It's nothing. I'm an idiot and forgot to give Reece the schedule." Marjorie sighed, finding the blue folder.
"Hmm. Very well then." Autumn smirked, watching Marjorie run frantically out of the office.

Marjorie got in her car and drove off to the sister nursery. She got out and held the blue folder to her chest.

"Is Reece in?" Marjorie asked one of the staff members.
"Yeah. He's in his office." The staff member said.
"Thanks darling." Marjorie smiled and walked to his office.

Marjorie walked to his office and saw he wasn't in there. She didn't want to leave the folder unattended, so she turned around and headed for the door. She saw Reece standing in front of one of the rooms.

"Jodie, you are reading the book back to front. Okay, the other way. No the—- sure. Upside down works too." Reece said, holding his water bottle in his left hand.
"Hey." Marjorie said, walking up to him.
"Hey you." Reece smiled.
"Here's the new schedule. Sorry, I meant to update it online and I forgot about it. It also has a few other things too. She told me she has already worked with you?" Marjorie said, clutching the blue folder.
"Um yeah it's okay. Once though. I think Aut sent her over here the day you were gone." Reece replied.

"Oh, I see. Well apparently she loves it here so I figured she could spend the rest of the week with you." Marjorie said, nodding her head.
"Yeah." Reece smiled. "Do you need anything else or just dropping off the folder?"
"I think that's it." Marjorie said, smiling. "I heard you survived your first ofstead inspection?"
"Yeah! Siobhan barely managed to keep it above a good, but it's now outstanding." Reece said, taking a sip from his water bottle.
"You already got the results?" Marjorie said.
"Yeah. The lady slipped me her number on her way out. I think she liked me." Reece said, smirking.
"I'm sure you think every woman on the planet likes you Reece." Marjorie said, scoffing.
"Nope, only one I care about." Reece said, looking back into the rooms.

Marjorie's eyes widened. Reece looked back over and smiled at her. Marjorie looked up at him, looking at his lips.

"I have to get back. Here's the folder." Marjorie said, blinking fast and handing Reece the folder.
"Yeah, um yeah. Thanks." Reece said, clearing his throat.
"Bye." Marjorie said, looking down and walking away.
"Marjorie." Reece said, turning around.
"Yeah?" Marjorie said, turning to look at Reece.
"I— never mind. I'll text you later." Reece stuttered.
"Okay." Marjorie smiled, and walked out to her car.

Reece shook his head and sighed. He needed Marjorie. He needed to feel her again, to taste her lips again.

"Just do it Reece. Go for it." Reece said to himself, running outside to catch Marjorie.
