The couples spent the next couple hours together, laughing and gushing over the new addition to the nursery family. Autumn raised an eyebrow at Marjorie, crossing her arms.

"Have you heard anything from HR? Or Ofstead?" Autumn asked, taking a sip of her water.
"Nope." Marjorie said, setting her wine glass down. "They said it would be a couple weeks before they get to investigating her. You would think they would put a rush on it, but no. When they do investigate, I'll have very limited details anyways."
"Damn." Autumn said, sighing. "That sucks."
"It's whatever." Marjorie shrugged. "I bet it's killing you not to have a glass right now."
"Little bit," Autumn laughed. "I never pictured being married and having children. Let alone having someone like you in my life."

Marjorie almost spat her wine everywhere as she looked at Autumn. She swallowed her wine and smirked.

"Wow. Pregnancy has made you soft." Marjorie said, stifling a laugh.
"Shut up." Autumn said, playfully hitting her arm.
"How far along are you?" Marjorie asked, finishing her wine.
"8 weeks." Autumn said. "I've kept my mouth shut because I didn't want to get ahead of myself."
"Oh Autumn," Marjorie said, placing a hand on her arm. "You've got your rainbow baby. The light does come."
"It does." Autumn smiled. "It definitely does."

Winter and Reece had walked into the kitchen where the girls were, and stood behind each of their partners.

"My sweet, you ready?" Winter asked.
"Yes. I'm exhausted." Autumn sighed.
"Love you." Marjorie said, hugging Autumn.
"Love you too." Autumn sighed. "Bye."

"Bye darling!" Marjorie said, watching as Autumn and Winter grabbed their things and walked out the door.

Reece placed his hands on Marjorie's shoulders, rubbing them gently.

"Mmmm." Marjorie hummed.
"You alright?" Reece asked.
"I'm fine. Better now that my best friend is pregnant!" Marjorie squealed. "I'm so excited for them."
"Me too, gorgeous. Me too." Reece smiled, kissing her cheek.

Marjorie melted into Reeces touch, as he continued to rub her shoulders. Marjorie's phone went off, and she reached over the counter and answered it.

"Hey. Deep breath. No it's fine. You can drop him off here. My love, no. It's fine. Relax. It's okay. You don't need to apologize. Okay. See you soon." Marjorie said, sighing.
"What's up??" Reece asked, starting to get worried.
"That was Vivian." Marjorie said. "Siobhan's over at her house and apparently she had a panic attack and Jamie witnessed it, which caused him to freak out. I told her bring him here, so she can spend the night calming Siobhan."
"Okay." Reece sighed, starting to get tense.
"They should be here shortly. She doesn't live far." Marjorie said, staring at the door.

Reece walked over to the window and saw Vivian pull up, with Siobhan crying in the passenger seat.

"She's here." Reece said, sighing.

Marjorie opened the door to Vivian with a sleeping Jamie in her arms. Vivian gently placed Jamie in Marjorie's arms, whispering apologies left and right. Marjorie reassured her over and over, saying to take care of Siobhan. Reece stopped Vivian before she left, grabbing the door.

"May I talk to her? I just want to see if I can help." Reece asked.
"Go for it." Vivian said, running her hands through her hair.

Reece walked outside and got into the drivers side of Vivian's car, shutting the door. Siobhan had her knees up to her chest, her tears silently falling onto her joggers.

"Siobhan." Reece said softly.
"Hey." Siobhan sniffled. "I'm sorry..."
"Don't apologize." Reece said, putting his hand up, which caused Siobhan to flinch. "Shit. I'm sorry."
"It's okay." Siobhan said, wiping her tears away. "He's still running through my head."
"Yeah, he's like that. The comments he made to me as a teenager still run through my head. Every once in a while they come back up and I shut down. You'll heal, I promise." Reece said.

"It's just weird." Siobhan sighed. "He is a horrible person. But somehow I'm grieving him? Make it make sense."
"Well, you know he starts out sweet. He cares for you, showers you with all the love possible, and then he turns sour. It's normal to grieve the person he used to be. The small ounce of good he used to have. I grieve that sometimes." Reece said, shifting in his seat.

Back inside the house, Marjorie was doing her best to console the very obviously frazzled mum.

"Vivian," Marjorie whispered, gesturing to the boy sleeping in her arms.
"What?" Vivian looked up.
"Deep breath. She's fine. She's strong as hell." Marjorie sighed, gently resting Jamie on the couch and covering him up with a blanket.
"It just freaks me out." Vivian said. "And Jamie witnessed that tonight, I don't think he's ever seen two adults so frazzled like that. I was trying to calm Bon down and then Jamie started annoying me and I just got overstimulated and then he started freaking out and..."
"Listen to me." Marjorie said, cutting her off. "You are an amazing person, and an amazing mum. So incredibly kind, but so badass. Don't feel the need to take all of Siobhan's pain away. Let her feel some. Let her grieve. Grief isn't linear my love. You know that. She has to learn that too. Please do not hesitate in the future to call for help. We're a family. You're my family now."

Vivian looked up at Marjorie and smiled, her gaze softening. Vivian walked closer to Marjorie and pulled her in for a hug, sighing.

"Thank you. I just needed to get that off my chest." Vivian said. "Sorry."
"Don't apologize, that's what I'm here for. Plus it's a bonus to be able to watch that little guy in there. He's obsessed with Reece by the way. Like totally obsessed." Marjorie said, rubbing Vivian's back. "If you or Siobhan ever need to rant or anything, you guys are welcome over here anytime. We have wine and everything."
"Thank you." Vivian smiled, pulling away. "I really do appreciate it. I better get back to her."
"Of course my darling." Marjorie said, looking at Reece who was walking through the door. "Have a good night my love. We've got Jamie. Take the night."
"Thank you again," Vivian said, looking at Reece.
"Of course." Reece smiled, watching Vivian walk out the door.

Reece walked over to Marjorie and planted a soft kiss on her lips, and then planted one on her forehead. He looked into the family room and saw Jamie sleeping peacefully on the couch.

"He's a cute kid." Reece smiled.
"Yeah, he is. Just think.. if we ever have any, you're fucked." Marjorie said, walking off.

Reece paused for a second and raised an eyebrow, chasing after Marjorie.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?!"
