A/N: PICTURES DO NOT BELONG TO ME!!

Optimus Prime looked around at the Unicron replicas. There were too much to fight off, and he couldn't fight off all of them. They would only keep coming. Suddenly, he saw a green and blue light in the corner of his optic and he heard two fierce roars. A replica was about to strike Optimus, but never got a chance to as a large green dragon land on it with full force, causing it to crumble into pieces under it.

     Three more replicas were coming to them, but a light blue fire covered them and they fell into pieces. A light blue dragon then landed next to Optimus' side.

     Optimus stared at them in amazement. Then something click in his mind. "Violet? Saphirra?" He asked in disbelief.

    The blue dragon looked at him and nodded, while the green dragon made chirping noises. ::Optimus, have you uncovered any further sign of Unicron's emergence?:: Ratchet asked from his comm-link.

     "Unicron is power incarnate, and you, the last of the Primes, shall perish." All of the replicas said at once.

     ::I'll take that as a yes.:: Ratchet said. ::We are on our way.::

     "Negative." Optimus responded. Saphirra and Violent positioned themselves on both of his sides, growling and snarling at the replicas. "Unicron cannot be defeated by sheer force. He wants me, Ratchet." He then turned his servos into blasters. "This fight must be mine alone."

    The replicas made their first move. The rock replicas jump into the sky. Optimus shot them before they could land. Saphirra flew up into the sky and went to a group of them. They saw her, but they didn't get a chance to defend themselves as she fired at them, reducing them to rubble.

    Violet remained by Optimus' side, launching herself at their opponents when they get too close. As she was heading to one, a group of them ran towards her. She landed at her target first, then she slammed her front paw as hard as she could. Metal vines suddenly sprouted up and wrapped around them, constructing them until they crumble into pieces. She then turned around to see that they were gaining the upper hand on Optimus. She took off, but a replica surprised her and he cut her wing. She roared out in pain as she fell to the ground.

    Saphirra was firing at the rock figures when she heard a roar of pain. She turn to see a replica walking to her. She roared at the replica to back away from her sister, but didn't see the ones behind her. They jumped on her and she collapses from the weight. She saw Optimus pinned down and Unicron was about to kill him. She struggled to get the replicas off of her. Amber told Saphirra and Violent that she see Optimus as a father that she never had before. Saphirra couldn't let him die. Amber needed him, and she didn't want to see her sister heartbroken.

     All of a sudden, she heard the sound of an engine and she moved her eyes to see Arcee driving towards Optimus. She killed one of them and Optimus freed himself. Saphirra looked at Violet and saw that Unicron was about to kill her. She roared out in panic.

    Optimus was the first to react. He saw Saphirra pinned down, so he shot the ones on top of her. Immediately, she stood and fired a ball of light blue fire at the replica near Violet. The rock figure crumble into small rocks as the shot went through its chest. She then flew to her sister and her eyes widen. Violet had a long cut in her webbing and she was whimpering from the pain.

     Saphirra thought for a moment, before deciding to try something. She raised her own wing and gently lay it on the injured wing. Light blue mist surround it and Violet stopped whimpering. Once the mist went away, she removed her wing to see that the wing was completely healed. Both noticed that the bots were retreating. Both of the flew after them, firing at the replicas here and there. The bots were now in their vehicle mode and they were in the open. The dragons flew a couple of feet above them. Arcee was the first to react. "Optimus, there are Predacons above us!"

    Bee made a panic beeping sound, and Bulkhead swerved a little. "Autobots, do not fire." Optimus said calmly. "They are on our side."

    All of them noticed a cliff was crumbling in on itself in front of them. The bots transformed, while Saphirra and Violent landed to the side. There were now a titan version of one of Unicron's replicas. "By the Allspark..." Violet though. He looked menacing!

     Bumblebee buzzed to Optimus as said bot walked forward in front of them. "No, not Unicron himself, but another of his manifestations." Optimus answered him.

    "If we can't beat Unicron and we can't outrun him, what exactly are we supposed to do?" Bulkhead asked.

    The titan replica started to walk to them as Optimus responded with, "All we can do. Neutralize his vessels as they appear, until we find a way to destroy him..." He then transform his servos into blasters. "Without destroying the very Earth upon which we walk."

    The replica stopped walking and the Autobots sprang into action. The dragons roared loudly, before running ant taking off to the titan. "Can we put Unicron back into stasis?" Violet asked  Saphirra over their dragon bond.

    "I don't know." Saphirra responded. "But like Optimus said, we just need to distract him until we can find a way to defeat him."

     Violet gasped as Bumblebee and Bulkhead were knocked away from the replica by its spiked arm. "Go help them." Saphirra said as Arcee start to fire at the enemy.

    She immediately soar down to them and Saphirra soar to Arcee. Unicron swung his hook at Arcee and she was knocked off the ground. Arcee transformers in midair, but before she could crash to the ground, Saphirra wrapped her wings around her and took the crash. She slid on her back before stopping. She groaned as she spread her wings out to reveal an unharmed Arcee. She stared at the dragon in shock. The dragon risked its life to protect her.

    The dragon made a concerned clicking sound. "I'm fine." Arcee said, think that it was asking her if she was okay.

    "I am this world's past and its future." Saphirra heard Unicron say. She looked to see Optimus was pinned down by large rocks, and Unicron was about to step on him. She quickly set Arcee down and she flew to Optimus as fast as she could. "And as of this moment... all Primes are simply past."

    Just as Saphirra reached him, purple beams shot through the replica's face. It fell back and crumble into pieces. Everyone stared in shock. Violet landed next to the three Autobots. Bee made buzzing noises. "Wasn't me." Arcee said.

    "Me neither." Bulkhead said as well.

    "Ratchet." Arcee commed Ratchet.

    ::What is it? What happened?:: Ratchet asked with a panic voice.

    "I happened." Megatron's voice rang out.

    The bots and Violet looked on disbelief to see Megatron standing on the pile of rubble.

     Saphirra wasn't paying attention as she was busy trying to remove some of the large rocks for Optimus. "SIS, MEGATRON IS COMING TO YOU!" Violet roared out.

    Saphirra immediately turned around, but she couldn't block the attack from him. He punched her in the side and she stumbled to the side and fell from the pain. Violet flew to her and she nuzzled her head. "I'm okay." Saphirra said.

    They saw Megatron aiming his cannon at Optimus. Violet though that something was wrong with him. His optics were now purple and so was his insignia. The bots aimed their weapons at him, while Violet was preparing to attack and Saphirra was about to fire a fireball at him. To everyone's surprise, Megatron instead offered his servo to Optimus.

    Optimus only stared for a moment, before taking his servo and Megatron helped him stand. The dragons held their fire. She wasn't going to admit it, but Violet still wanted to attack him. "It is rather ironic," Megatron said as he walked a little ways from him. "Considering our last encounter. If memory serves, you were desperately attempting to extinguish my spark."

    Optimus walked over to him with his optics glaring at him. "That option remains very much in play."

    "I would expect nothing less." Megatron said. He then walked back to his original spot, his servos crossed behind his back. "However, I have a proposal. Join me in defeating our shared enemy -- Unicron, the Chaos-Bringer."

    ::Ha! Absurd!:: Ratchet exclaimed. ::Unicron is evil incarnate. If Megatron was to take any side, why would it be ours?::

     "Because Megatron's pride would never allow anyone other than himself to rule this planet." Optimus answered.

     "You know me all too well, Optimus." Megatron said.

      "You lead an army of 'Cons." Bulkhead said. "Why come to us?"

    "Because this particular endeavor requires something beyond the realm of my command -- the power of a Prime" He gestured to Optimus. He then looked at Saphirra and Violent. "And possibly the power of the two Predacons."

     Their only response was growling noises. Bulkhead scoffed. "Then I guess we don't need you."

    "On the contrary," Megatron responded. "Optimus may be the only one who can defeat Unicron, but I remain the only one who can guide you to him Unicron's lifeblood runs through me. Only I can hear his thoughts, anticipate his movements. Optimus, our past alliances -- Autobot, Decepticon -- no longer matter, not while Unicron lives."

    Saphirra heard a clang in the comm, then Ratchet saying angrily, ::The past always matters!::

     Violet looked away and, directing her human voice, quietly said in the comm, "That is true, Ratchet, but Amber taught that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few."

    "A truce between Autobot and Decepticon." Optimus said. "How long do you expect us to believe that will last?"

    "Only as long at it's mutually beneficial." Megatron responded.

    "And when our proposed shared mission is completely?"

    "I will conquer this Earth... my way."

    "Brutal honesty from a Decepticon?" Arcee asked to herself.

    Ratchet heard her and said, ::Aligning with the lesser of two evils is still siding with evil.::

    "Better to work with the devil you know than the one you don't know." Violet said.

    "Do you think you've witnessed the full power of Unicron?" Megatron asked them. "Those foot soldiers were nothing more than a taste. Unicron has yet to fully awaken. With each passing moment, the Bringer of Chaos evolves, mutating Earth from the inside out. What we have witnessed until now is but a prelude of the utter devastation his rising will wreck upon your world."

    "Like your quest for power destroyed Cybertron?" Arcee shot back.

     "Make no mistake." Megatron said. "This time, there will be a planet left for me to rule."

    "Even if we agree," Bulkhead said. "Unicron's all the way down at the center of the Earth. How are we supposed to get there -- drive?"

     "There is only one way." Optimus answered.

    ::Absolutely not!:: Ratchet exclaimed, immediately catching what Optimus was saying. ::Groundbridging into space or onto moving trains is different enough. But plotting a blind jump inside of a sentient being?! Besides, direct exposure to that much Dark Energon will debilitate you. You haven't built up an immunity like Megatron has.::

     "Yet another strong argument for soliciting my guidance." Megatron said, sounding quite annoyed.

    "You can provide Unicron's exact coordinates?" Optimus asked.

    "If you transport us to this planet's core, I can lead you directly into Unicron's spark... the very heart of his darkness." Megatron said, clutching his servo.

    Arcee was still skeptical about it. "Optimus, even if we survive the jump, how are we supposed to stop Unicron?"

    "She has a point." Violet said to her sister.

    Optimus looked back at his team, then looked back at Megatron. Megatron had a knowing look on his face, which Saphirra found suspicious. The Prime was silent for a moment, then looked at Arcee behind his back and said, "With the Matrix of Leadership."

   Saphirra made a slight panic roar as her eyes widen. Megatron looked over at her, and she snarled at him. Optimus couldn't give up the Matrix. Could he? The consequences that Skyblade had told her when a Prime gives up the Matrix...

    "It was the combined power of the Primes that defeated Unicron so long ago, the very reason he now seeks to destroy you." Megatron said, walking towards Optimus.

    "It would follow that unleashing the power of the Matrix directly into Unicron's spark would return him to stasis." Optimus said, looking down at his servos.

    Saphirra looked at him. "He knows..."

    She then heard a clicking sound from behind her and saw some rocks rolling to something, like it was being magnetically pulled to it. She looked up to see that the rocks were being pulled to the large rubble from the replica. It was rebuilding itself. "We got another one." Bulkhead said as him, Arcee, and Bumblebee backed away from it.

    The dragons immediately ran to Optimus' side, who was saying, "Ratchet, set the Groundbridge."

    By now, rocks were flying everywhere. Team Prime was trying to back away from up, but doing it slowly because of the strong wind. A Groundbridge opened up beside them. They looked at it, and Arcee turn sharply at Optimus. "Wait. We're opening up a direct path into our base  with Megatron and the Predacons standing right there?"

    Violet mentally laughed at all the hand movement she did. "And seriously, they're gonna risk their own spark to save us?"

    Megatron laughed. "Hardly my nature." He then looked up at the replica, then to the bots. "Consider my offer. I shall keep it busy." He transformed into his jet and shot off to the replica.

    Violet watched him as he went to the large being and started to shoot him. "Sis, I don't think that Megatron can handle by himself."

     Saphirra looked at her sister. "Why?"

    Then she heard it. The sound of rocks crumbling, but not because it was falling apart. It was coming together. She was right as she saw two more titan replicas emerging from the ground. She didn't hesitate. She turn to Optimus, who was still standing there. "Optimus, get out of here." Saphirra said to him. "I'll stay here to help Megatron." She then walked towards the titans. "You too, Violet."

    Saphirra spread her wings out, but Violet said, "No. I want to help. Each of us can distract one titan."

    She looked at her as Violet as she too was spreading her wings out. "It's too dangerous." Saphirra said.

     "Then why are you going?" Violet asked.

    Saphirra couldn't respond at first. Violet then said, "Because I believe that it is on instinct. We are Autobots, and not only that, we're family. We would always look out for one another." She then looked down sadly. "Because Amber would have done the same thing."

    "We'll get our sister back." Saphirra said instantly.

    "See?"

     Saphirra looked at Violet for a moment, then sigh in defeat. "Fine. Come on."

    "Time to kick some tailpipe!" She roared out as she was already flying towards them.

    Saphirra chuckled before taking off after her.

     Megatron kept firing at the three replicas, flying around them and dodging their attacks. Saphirra would fly near their arms and shoot out fireballs, while Violet flew behind them and shoot our a light green fire at them. Megatron managed to dodge another attack, and shoot the leader's knee, causing it to fall onto one leg. ::Megatron, we are sending transport.:: Optimus said through the comn link.

    "You can always be relied upon to listen to reason, Optimus." Megatron responded. He then turned around, transformed into his main form, and punched the leader replica. It crumbled into rocks in a matter of moments.

    Violet and Saphirra flew up behind the other two replicas, Saphirra getting the right one - Violet getting the left one. As much fire as they can muster, they fired simultaneously. The replicas were now crumbling to the ground as well. Megatron landed on the ground and walked into the Groundbridge. The two dragons landed on the ground as well, and if it hadn't for Saphirra being there, Violet would had collapse to the ground from weariness. "Just hang in there." Saphirra said. "We're not done yet."

    Violet nodded and Saphirra gently pull her up so she could stand. She then made her way into the Groundbridge with her sister following closely beside her. They emerged and saw Megatron standing in front, his back to the two sisters. Violet went under Saphirra's wing like she was hiding. Saphirra let her and they walked forward. "Where are the Predacons?" Bulkhead asked.

    A chirp sound drew everybot's attention to the blue and green dragons walking to them. Bulkhead pointed his blaster at them and the green dragon drew closer to the blue one. They stopped when they were out of the tunnel and standing to the side, away from Megatron. Ratchet stared in amazement. Saphirra heard small footsteps running at them, more directly, at Megatron. She, along with Megatron, look down to see Raf running to him. "You!" He said, sounding quite angry. Agent Fowler, June, Miko, and Jack ran after him. Jack stopped him.

    "Ah!" Megatron said. He made a step them, but stopped as Arcee step in front of them and pointed her guns at him. "You're looking much better than the last time we met, little one. Humans... resilient."

    Saphirra snarled at him, then jumped over him and landed behind the humans. The bots panicked, but she only raised her wings and roared at him, daring him to hurt them. The humans looked at her in fear, except for
