A/N: I'm really sorry that this took so long. I have an exam in two days and let's just say I'm a mess, but that's nothing new. The next part may be a little delayed too because I need to study, so I'm not going to write until Thursday. ALSO! I don't understand how this fanfic has over 1k views, but I appreciate it so much. You guys are amazing as always! Anyway, have a great day and week! Enjoy! 💜
On the night of the kiss, Andi stayed with the girl until the morning, it was the first night Maja slept like a baby since a couple of nights. They shared another kiss in the morning, which was supposedly a goodbye kiss, but Andi was only heading upstairs so both of them knew it wasn't exactly necessary, yet it was something they both wanted.
Besides going to work, Maja spent most of her time for the past few days with Andi. They both agreed that the kiss was just a friendly thing and it wasn't much of a big deal, but what they didn't actually speak about though, was the fact that each of them still thought about the kiss. They didn't mention how it randomly made them smile whenever they remembered about it, or how they found themselves wishing to feel the other's lips on theirs once again.

Andreas walked into Maja's apartment. It was their last day at home and Andi had made plans with the girl to spend the last day together before the season began. He used the spare key once again to get inside the apartment, somehow the girl completely forgot to take off of him.
"Wake up sleepy head!" He exclaimed happily while walking inside the kitchen and taking a peek inside her fridge. He had brought most of the ingredients to make pancakes, but he wanted to check that she had the rest just in case. He heard some footsteps and he smiled, closing the fridge door. His smile froze, slowly fading in confusion. Who he saw was definitely not Maja.
"Welli? What are you doing here?" The brunet asked, making Andi furrow his eyebrows.
"Me? I, ummm- I just came to take Waffles for a walk," he quickly stuttered out his response while eyeing Richi up and down. He wanted to ask what the other boy was doing here, but seeing the towel wrapped loosely around his hips, he could figure it out himself.
"Maja is in the shower, but I'll let her know you took him," Richi assured with a slight smile although he wasn't too convinced by the boy's explanation.
"I also brought her some shopping," Andi lied, making Richard now understand why he had brought a bag full of food. "Are you two spending the day together?" Andi couldn't stop himself from asking.
"Yeah, I'm taking her on a little date," Richi sighed happily as he leaned against the counter.
"I'll get going, see you later! Have fun, but don't be late for the flight." Andi smiled while grabbing the puppy and the leash, before he headed towards the door.
"Oh and Andi?" Richi spoke up again, making the younger boy pause and turn towards him. "Thank you for letting me know she was feeling better, I really appreciate it! I wouldn't' have been able to do this without your help." Richi smiled gratefully, the blond just nodded in response, soon leaving with the husky.
Yesterday, Andi sent a message to Richard to update him on how Maja was feeling. So why was he now disappointed that he found the boy in her apartment? It was thanks to himself after all and she didn't even have a clue about it. All he wanted was for Maja to be happy since she cared about Richi so much, but he wasn't expecting Maja to just forget about their plans and not even think to let him know about it.
He stepped out of the apartment block with the puppy, sighing to himself as he didn't know what to do. He stared blankly out into space for a moment, quite enjoying the cool air hitting his skin. The blond eventually took out his phone and dialled a number well known to him.
"What time do you get back?" he questioned as soon as he heard Stephan's voice on the other end, the younger one not even returning a proper greeting. "Waffles misses you," he added, looking down at the puppy who was currently staring up at his owner.
"Oh I'm sure Waffles does, but I bet you miss me more, huh?" Stephan chuckled.
"Don't get sassy with me now," Andi huffed playfully. "Do you want your ass picking up from the train station, or not?" The younger one asked.
"I thought you said you'll be busy?" Stephan asked, furrowing his eyebrows. He began to sense that something was wrong with Andi.
"Yeah well I'm not anymore," the blonde laughed.
"Could you be there in twenty minutes then?" The older one questioned, deciding to put off asking him about the issue until later.
"Yeah, I can," Wellinger agreed simply, before saying goodbye and hanging up.
He took Waffles on a quick walk before getting inside his car and heading to pick up his best friend. The walk helped him partly clear his head, he convinced himself that it actually had nothing to do with Maja and that he was just bitter because he hated when people cancel their plans.

"Was someone here?" The brunette asked Richi as she stepped out of the bathroom, drying her hair with a towel. The boy turned to face Maja, a smile growing on his lips at the sight of the girl.
"Yeah, Andi came," Richard began, placing his hands on her hips. The girl froze for a moment and her eyes widened, but she tried to play if off cool. After spending a cuddly night with Richi, she completely forgot she made plans with Andi. Although it wasn't a big issue, she felt extremely awful. However, what she felt more awful about was what Andi must think about it. "He dropped by with some shopping and took Waffles for a walk," the boy informed, snapping Maja out of her thoughts.
"Oh yeah, right... I asked if he could do that for me," she lied. It was just an innocent, harmless lie, but she knew it was stupid and unnecessary.
"Alright, well now I have you all to myself for at least half of the day." The brunet smirked, pressing a single soft kiss on her neck. She chuckled at the feeling and gently pushed him back.
"Let me get dressed." She pecked his cheek before disappearing into her room without another word, causing a wince to slip past the boy's lips.
Once both of them were ready, they walked to a cute little restaurant nearby which Richi really wanted to introduce the girl to.
"So is this a date?" Maja asked with a raised eyebrow, looking over at the guy whose fingers she had intertwined with her own.
"I think so, unless you don't want it to be... Then it isn't," Richi rambled on with a small laugh, both of them stepping inside the restaurant.
The first thing that came to Maja's attention was the amount of beautiful plants scattered around the place. The green colours composed nicely with the wooden furniture, making it cosy and relaxing, meanwhile helping to forget about the chilly weather on the other side of the door.
They agreed on a table and they took their seats. "I think it is." Maja grinned, going back to their conversation while looking into his eyes. She really enjoyed the tiny spark of excitement she got when alone with Richi, he was always so sweet and caring. A perfect guy for her, or so she thought.
"Are you excited?" The girl asked curiously, just after they had ordered their food with the handsome young waiter.
"About the food? Yeah, I'm thrilled," Richard joked, a wide smile plastered on his face.
"Ha, ha, very funny," Maja rolled her eyes playfully. "About the upcoming season, you goof!"
"Of course I am, it's a clean start. I am a bit nervous too though," the boy admitted with a small sigh leaving his lips.
"You have nothing to be nervous about, you're amazing!" Maja exclaimed a little too loudly, getting some other people's attention. She grabbed the cup of tea from in front of her, which the waiter had delivered shortly after taking their order, and she sipped on it innocently, her eyes scanning the walls.
A smirk grew on Richi's lips as he found the sight fairly amusing. "Is it just me or have I got myself a date with my numer one fan, hm?" He teased, leaning a little forward on his elbows.
The girl looked at him blankly for a second before she finally spoke up. "I'm actually Welli's number one fan, but whatever you say," she huffed as a joked, but her stomach churned when she realised how that came out.
Richi leaned back in his chair, attempting just laugh it off. He knew it was only a joke and he didn't want to make it a big deal, but for an unknown reason it made him feel some sort of discomfort. Maybe if she had chosen a different person it wouldn't have made him feel that way, which actually worried him a little. He had nothing against Andi, but he felt as if Maja could be easily infatuated by the younger boy.
Meanwhile, the girl searched for something to say which would make up for the tension she had unintentionally created. "You know I was joking," she said simply. "I would be on a date with him if it was true," she sighed giving him a reassuring smile and placing her hand over his.
"I'll miss you," Richard spoke up, taking her a little by surprise. He leaned forward again from across the table, taking her hand into both of his. "At least I'll get to see you next month," he reminded, a smile gradually tugging on his lips.
Maja nodded. "I'll miss you too, don't worry," she chuckled, appreciating the feeling of his warm hands around her own.
They remained quiet, which made Maja involuntarily think about how she would also miss the other boys. How much she would miss Andi. After all how would she cope without his attitude and his humour, but also his gentleness. His lips.
She coughed awkwardly in order to snap herself out of her own thoughts, as if she was ashamed of even having them in the first place. Perhaps it was better that she wouldn't see Andi for a month, at least it would give her time to kick the stupid thoughts out of her head.
Maja and Richi talked and laughed, making the time fly by. They were surprised by how fast the food came, but they actually just didn't realise how much time had passed while they were enjoying each other's company.
Richard was currently in the middle of telling a funny story about some prank the boys pulled on Markus last season. Maja couldn't help but chuckle while listening to him.
"Can you quit being so adorable?! I can't stop messing up my words when you look at me like that!" The brunet laughed, playfully flicking a napkin at her, which only made the girl laugh harder, almost spitting out the food she was trying to chew.
"I just can't help being so charming," she snorted.
"Oh yeah, especially when you snort like a pig when laughing," Richi teased.
The girl's laugh slowly died down to the point where she was eventually just blankly staring down at her plate. Was everything going to be reminding her of Andi now? Thinking back to when he said almost the same thing, she suddenly lost appetite. She really wanted things to workout with her and Richi, so thinking about Andi so much worried her and at the same time made her upset.
"Can we go for a walk?" Maja mumbled out randomly. "Once you're done.." She quickly added with a smile that was little forced.
Richi agreed, so once he was done eating, he paid and they headed to the park for a walk.
Maja was lost in her thoughts, yet still admiring the trees which looked rather unappealing due to the time of the year. Most of them had already lost their leaves, but to her they still had some sort of charm in them.
"Are you okay? You have been very quiet since we left," Freitag noticed, tilting his head as he glanced at the girl. "You know, I didn't actually mean that you sound like a pig," he chuckled awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck.
The girl smiled slightly and shook her head. "Don't worry, I'm fine," she breathed out. 'Get your shit together' she thought to herself. She took a deep breath and tightened her grip on Richi's hand, gently pulling him back and making them both stop walking.
The boy looked at her confused, but before he could open his mouth, Maja's lips crashed onto his. She really caught him off guard, even she didn't expect herself to actually do it. It was too late to stop it when she realised what she was doing, but did she even want to stop this? Thankfully, Richi kissed her back, cupping her chin in one of his hands while the other rested on her waist, pulling the girl a little closer.
Maja pulled back with a smile on her face. She looked at him innocently, yet somewhat proudly, making Richi laugh. "You're welcome," she chuckled, giving him a wink.
"Might have to compare your snort to a pig more often," he joked, earning himself a gentle slap on the arm.

Maja knocked on the door, patiently waiting for someone to finally open up. She agreed with Stephan that she would drive him and Andi to the airport and it was almost time to go, so she decided to make an appearance. It didn't quite yet register in her head that they were actually going away for over a month.
Andi opened the door, his eyebrows furrowing when he saw Maja in the doorway. "I messaged you that we will come down to say goodbye in a few minutes," he informed. As Maja walked inside the apartment she made eye contact with Stephan, the smile on his face told her that he hasn't yet mentioned to Andi that she will drive them.
"I'm taking you to the airport. Aren't you happy?" She smiled, avoiding his eyes purposely.
"On a bike? Since when do you have a car?" The blond scoffed, walking back to where his suitcases stood.
"I already agreed with Stephan that I'm taking your car." Maja shrugged.
Andi looked between the two, completely unamused. He wouldn't even have an issue with that any other day, but today he felt like making a big deal out of it. "Well, you're not," the younger boy said simply.
Maja huffed, walking over to him and wrapping her arms around him tightly. "I'm sorry for ditching you today, okay? Please forgive me?" She pouted up at him. She knew he would forget about it sooner or later, but she didn't like knowing he wasn't happy with something she did.
The blond sighed. He made the mistake of looking into the girl's eyes, not only did she have pretty eyes that lured him in, but she actually seemed genuinely sorry. How could he resist giving in? "Did you at least have a good day?" He asked. She nodded her head with a smile on her face in response. "Then you're forgiven, now help me get this downstairs," he chuckled before messing up her hair.
The three of them arrived at the airport half an hour later. They weren't much late, but neither were they really on time, which of course didn't leave the coach too happy. All because of Andi not being able to say his goodbye to Waffles, he was ready to even put the puppy in his suitcase, but thankfully Stephan knocked some sense into him and meanwhile probably saved the Husky's life.
After the boys completed the check in and they were ready to go through the security, the three of them met up with the rest of the group. The fans must have somehow found out the guys were going away tonight because quite a few appeared at the airport.
The boys didn't have too much time to say goodbye, so they tried to keep it to a minimum.
'It's just a month' Maja kept repeating in her head. She first gave Karl and Markus a hug, before moving onto Stephan.
"Look after yourself," Stephan whispered, giving her one of his beautiful smiles.
"You too and look after the rest, make sure they come back in one piece please," she chuckled, pulling away from the hug and heading over to where Richi and Andi were stood.
Maja took a deep breath. She wrapped her arms around both of them, cuddling into their bodies. "Please be careful," she breathed out to them both while pulling away after a longer moment. She knew she couldn't keep them back for any longer otherwise they would miss their plane.
Richi gave her hand a squeeze and pressed his lips to the top of her head. "We'll be back before you know it," he assured before he slowly grabbed his remaining things. He blew her a kiss as he began to follow the rest of the team. She smiled, blowing a kiss back. She almost didn't notice Andi was still beside her.
"Are you not going?" She chuckled, looking him in the eyes. He stepped closer and gave her another warm, tight hug.
"Remember what I said, call me whenever you need to," he reminded, kissing her cheek. Before Maja could even respond, he disappeared because Stephan was already calling his name.
She sighed, glancing to her side where Lena stood with a sad expression on her face.
"You'd think I'd be used to this by now," Lena mumbled.
Maja wrapped her arms around Lena, giving her a side hug. "I don't think there is anything you can get used to with these dorks," the younger girl smiled.
