20 years later

Many of the clan is been attacked by the puppet, the only place that isn't under attack is Yiling, a small village, and small town. They have a talisman that protects them from getting attacked by puppets.

Yunmeng town

Many people don't dare to walk out during the day or the night time. They are afraid that they will get attacked by the puppet. More than 30 or 50 or even more puppets have invaded Yunmeng town.

The Jiang clan can't even keep up with dealing with the puppet. They can't even get reinforcements since the other clan is having problems of their own as well. "Sect leader! There are more of them now! What should we do?!"

Inside is a dark green Nie clan stone symbol, put this in your clan protection array. This will help push the puppet away even farther away from the Nie clan and Qinghe town. The people will be safe, no puppet can get in."

"Wei Xiong, I'll do just that!" Nie Huaisang went to give the talisman to his disciple, he tell them what to do and then he went off to his clan protection array.

Nie Huaisang put the Jade Nie clan stone into the protection array, just like Wei Wuxian said it started to spread out wider, wider, wider, wider and wider until all of the puppet is out of Qinghe town.

Nie Huaisang returned back to his main room, he continued to read what is on the letter, "Make sure to burn the letter. You can't let anyone know that I am helping you. Stay safe Nie Huaisang." With that Nie Huaisang burn the letter just like Wei Wuxian ask him to do.

'Wei xiong is right I shouldn't let anyone know. We did do bad thing to Wei xiong but I'm still his friends.'

"Sect leader, it look like our sect and town people is safe now."

LanLing town

Since Jinlintai is at sea level puppet can't enter into the place. They need to do whatever they can to protect their clan and the people in it. The town people is too scare to come out from their own.

Caiyi town people were told to stay in their home. They can't leave heir home no matter what. Even though the Lan clan is there, they can't help them.
