After leaving Qinghe, Wei Wuxian and Wen Ning decide to stop by LanLing. Wei Wuxian waited inside of an inn while Wen Ning went to Jinlintai to see if Jin Ling is back or not. Wei Wuxian can see people of LanLing going on about their life since there is no more puppet surrounding their town.

A minute later Wen Ning came back, "Gongzi, people said that Jin gongzi went out with the Lan clan to search for you. He is not in his home."

'Why is that child following the Lan clan to go look for me?' "Then let's head to Jinlintai tonight. We need to destroy the talisman, Wen Ning," Wen Ning nodded his head.

So that night both Wei Wuxian and Wen Ning went to Jinlintai, they jump around the place searching for the hidden talisman within the clan.

"Wen Ning," Wen Ning went in the direction he felt the strongest. "The strongest is here. Where the Jin clan held there banquet and other event."

"Okay, leave it to me," Wei Wuxian did it like before, the resentment scattered throughout Jinlintai and LanLing, it burn all of the talisman inside of the structure.

"Gongzi, how about the other clan?" Wen Ning asked when he see Wei Wuxian stand up.

"Let them deal with it. I need to find a way to figure out who put the talisman into the structure and the tree all around the cultivation World." The two left from there to head back to the burial mound.

Lan Wangji and the Junior

"Hanguang Jun, this village seem....."

"More happy and bright," Jingyi finish what Sizhui want to said.

"Hanguang Jun!" They all look right and left to see two Lan disciple running up to them, "Hanguang Jun, there is no puppet around this area either."

"Same with the other village up ahead."

"Do they know why?" The two Junior shook their head no.

"Hanguang Jun?" Sizhui can tell that Lan Wangji want to investigate this but he also want to search for Wei Wuxian.

"Sect leader Jin!" They all look up to see a Jin disciple coming toward them. "Sect leader!" Jin Ling went up to his disciple, "what's wrong?" Jin Ling asked his disciple.

"This morning, one of the town people came to our Jin clan. They said that all of the puppet around LanLing is gone. Even when they are in the wood, they don't see any of the puppet or getting attack by them," Jin Ling turn around to look at Lan Wangji.

"Jin Ling, head back to LanLing first. As Sect leader, your clan and town is your first priority," Jin Ling gave a bow, him and his disciple left that village as they head back to LanLing.

"Jinlintai is free from the puppet, then does that mean other clan as well?" Jingyi asked as he look at his fellow disciple.

"Sizhui," Sizhui looked at Lan Wangji, "Hanguang Jun?"

"Send back a message to Xiong zhang. Ask him if we are still under attack by puppet or not?" Sizhui nodded his head, he went to do just that.

"Everyone, we will stay here for the night." With that the Lan clan and Zizhen went to find an inn to stay in.

"Zizhen, aren't you going to send back a letter to your clan as well?" Jingyi asked Zizhen.

"Mn. I will," once they found a inn, the Junior went to get a room for their clan and fellow clan member. Zizhen went to write a letter to his clan, he also want to know if his clan is still under attack by puppet or not.

Jinlintai

"Sect leader, north side there is no puppet around our town. Not even inside the wood."

"Sect leader, same with west side."

"Sect leader, same here on east side."

"Same with south side too."

"North, east, west and south, no puppet around the area. And you all said that it happening last night?" His disciple nodded their head.

"Alright, go into group of two,  go around and check one more time. Report back to me," the Jin disciple nodded their head, and they left in group of two.

'How odd? It is the same for the other village too. There is no puppet around their town.'

Burial mound

"Gongzi, do you think there is more talisman out there?" Wen Ning asked as he help Wei Wuxian plant the seed in the dirty.

"I am not sure but since the Lan clan and Jin Ling is out looking for us, we won't be able to do our thing. But I still need to find out who is the one putting talisman into the tree trunk and structure and what to they want?" 

"Who?"

"Yeah who."

"But gongzi, how do we find whoever this person is?"

"I have a way but I am not sure if I will come back or not."

"Gongzi, what do you mean by that?" Wen Ning asked with a worry tone in his voice.

Wei Wuxian stop what he is doing, he turn to look at Wen Ning, "Have you heard of this two people, one is call, "Xie Lian (Crown Prince of the Xian Le kingdom)" the other one is call, "Hua Cheng (Crimson Rain Sought Flower) also call San Lang."

"You mean King of the underworld - Hua Cheng and Xue Lian - Crown Prince of heavenly realm?" Wei Wuxian nodded his head.

"I heard that Hua Cheng treated everyone in his realm with respect. When a person do evil deed when they were alive, they will get or will be tormented by his soldiers. I want to go to his realm to see if he can help me find Mo Xuanyu. He use to live in the Jin clan, so I am sure that he know who put the talisman in the tree trunk and structure of each clan."

"I'll come too. Do you think Jie Jie and the other will be there too?" Wei Wuxian breath in and then out, "Wen Ning, even if they are there. We can't stay long beside we aren't died."

"I know, I just want to tell them that I am doing fine and that I miss them."

Wei Wuxian know what Wen Ning is talking about, "okay, we can ask Hua Cheng if he can help us find Wen Qing and the other as well." This made Wen Ning very happy since he will get to see his sister again.

So that night Wei Wuxian drew a symbol or array on the ground, this will take them from the moral world into the underworld.
