Seoul, The Old Spot

Yoongi returned from Busan with a heavy heart and a mind full of plans. The evening air was crisp as he made his way to the old spot—a secluded area by the riverbank where he, Hoseok, and Namjoon used to hang out during their youth. The memories of simpler times brought a slight smile to his face, but the weight of his current situation quickly overshadowed it.

Hoseok was already there, waiting. He stood by the water, his hands in his pockets, looking lost in thought. As Yoongi approached, Hoseok turned, his expression serious.

“Yoongi,” Hoseok greeted, his voice steady but laced with concern.

“Hoseok,” Yoongi replied, giving his friend a firm hug. “Thanks for meeting me.”

They sat down on the bench, the sound of the river flowing softly in the background. Yoongi took a deep breath and began to explain everything—his family’s underworld connections, the forced marriage, Eunji’s help, and his plans to confront his father. Hoseok listened intently, his face growing more serious with each detail.

When Yoongi finished, Hoseok was silent for a moment, processing everything. Finally, he spoke. “This is heavy, Yoongi. Really heavy. Are you sure you want to confront your father? He’s dangerous.”

“I have to,” Yoongi replied, his voice resolute. “I can’t let him control my life anymore, and I won’t let him ruin my future with Y/N.”

Hoseok looked at Yoongi, his eyes searching. “Yoongi, I need to know something. Are you and Y/N really in a relationship, or are you just moving towards it?”

Yoongi met Hoseok’s gaze, his expression sincere. “Hoseok, I love your sister. I’ve loved her for a long time, even before she got married. I’ve kept my feelings hidden because I didn’t want to complicate things, but now… now I have to fight for her. I’m doing this for us, for our future.”

Hoseok took a deep breath, his expression softening. “I had a feeling, but hearing you say it makes it real. Yoongi, I trust you. I trust you to take care of her, but you have to promise me one thing.”

“Anything,” Yoongi replied earnestly.

“Promise me you’ll keep her safe. She’s been through enough already,” Hoseok said, his voice filled with brotherly concern.

Yoongi nodded. “I promise, Hoseok. I’ll protect her with everything I have.”

Hoseok placed a hand on Yoongi’s shoulder, offering a reassuring squeeze. “Alright then. Let’s figure out how to handle your father.”

Seoul, Yoongi’s Apartment

After their conversation, Hoseok and Yoongi went back to Yoongi’s apartment to strategize. They spent hours discussing possible scenarios, anticipating their father’s reactions, and preparing for every contingency.

“Hoseok,” Yoongi said, breaking the silence. “Thank you for believing in me and supporting me. I couldn’t do this without you.”

“We’re family, Yoongi. That’s what we do,” Hoseok replied with a smile. “Now, let’s get this done.”

Hoseok sighed deeply. "Alright. we need a solid plan. We need to gather evidence against your father. We can’t just confront him without any leverage."

"I agree. We need concrete evidence of his illegal activities. I know he’s involved in some shady business, but we need proof." Yoongi stated.

"I can help with that. I have a friend who’s a forensic accountant. He can trace any financial irregularities and help us build a case." Hoseok replies.

"That’s a good start. We should also consider a media campaign. Exposing his activities to the public could put pressure on him." Yoongi muttered.

"I can contact a few journalists I know. They’ve been looking for a big story, and this could be it." Hoseok continued.

"We also need to protect Y/N. She can’t be caught in the crossfire." Yoongi stated with concern lacing in his voice.

"I’ll make sure she’s safe." Hoseok pats his shoulder and gave him a reassuring smile.

The two friends spent the next few hours strategizing and making calls. Hoseok reached out to his forensic accountant friend, while Yoongi contacted Eunji and Detective Kim for legal and media support. They compiled a list of potential allies and resources.

"We need to move fast. The longer we wait, the more control he gains."

"I know. Let’s get started."

They divided the tasks and got to work. Hoseok arranged a meeting with the forensic accountant, while Yoongi coordinated with Detective Kim to start the legal proceedings.

A week later, Yoongi received a call from his father. The tension in his voice was palpable.

"Yoongi, we need to talk." His father said in his stern voice making yoongi scowl.

"I’m listening." Yoongi muttered.

"Come home. We need to discuss the future." His father replied back.

Yoongi ended the call, his resolve hardening. He turned to Hoseok, who had been listening.

"Are you ready for this?" Hoseok asks.

"As ready as I’ll ever be." Yoongi replies.

They finalized their plans and readied themselves for the confrontation. Hoseok ensured that Y/N was safe and well-protected.

"Thank you, Hoseok. For everything."

"You’re my brother, Yoongi. I’ve got your back, no matter what."

Yoongi left for his parents’ house, determination etched on his face. He knew the path ahead was fraught with danger, but he was ready to fight for his future, for Y/N, and for their love.

As Yoongi approached his parents’ grand mansion, memories of his tumultuous past flooded his mind. He steeled himself for the battle ahead, knowing that this confrontation could change everything.

Yoongi standing at the doorstep, his hand poised to knock, the weight of his decision pressing heavily on his shoulders.
