With a twist of the door knob, Yoongi entered his old house. The house where he spent his childhood. The house where his mother died because of his father's infidelities and crimes. The house that once held peace for him had turned sinister. The house where he was abandoned after his mother's death. The house that now represented everything he loathed. He clenched his eyes shut, trying to erase all those hurtful memories, but they played out vividly in his mind.

Walking inside, silence engulfed him. He looked around the house; everything was the same as it was twenty years ago. As he approached the living room, a picture frame hanging on the wall caught his eye. It was a photo of him, his mother, and his father. Seeing it enraged something deep within him—the hurt, disappointment, betrayal, abandonment, and more. It all clogged his mind, making it difficult for him to breathe.

Just then, a voice interrupted his thoughts. He turned around to see his father, Min Jae Hoon. The sight of the person he hated most in the world stirred a storm within him. Yet, he kept his demeanor strong and calm, while inside, the turmoil roared.

Jae Hoon stepped forward and locked eyes with his son, trying to read him. Yoongi's face remained stern and stoic. After a moment, Jae Hoon broke the eye contact and moved inside the room, leaving Yoongi standing there, who let out a deep sigh before following him.

In the living room, Yoongi's father settled into a chair, his posture exuding authority. Yoongi stood opposite him, his arms crossed, refusing to sit.

"Sit down, Yoongi."

"I'd rather stand."

Jae Hoon sighed, leaning back in his chair. "You're making this harder than it needs to be. The marriage is already arranged. It’s time for you to accept your responsibilities."

Yoongi's jaw tightened. "Accept my responsibilities? You mean accept the life you’ve forced upon me? I told you I won’t marry anyone but Y/N."

"Y/N is not suitable for our family. This arranged marriage will solidify our business connections. It's the best decision for everyone."

Yoongi shook his head. "For you, maybe. Not for me."

"You always were rebellious. Just like your mother. Look where it got her."

Yoongi’s eyes flashed with anger. "Don't you dare bring her into this."

"The marriage is happening, Yoongi. Whether you like it or not."

Yoongi stepped closer, his voice low and dangerous. "Then you’ll never see me again. I’ll cut all ties with this family. You’ll lose your son."

Jae Hoon leaned forward, his eyes narrowing. "You think you can just walk away?"

"Watch me."

With that, Yoongi turned on his heel and walked out, his father's voice calling after him. But he stops just before barging outside. He turned his heels back and dashed inside the living room again with burning eyes.

"I'M GIVING YOU MY LAST WARNING FATHER, the word he respected to spell out of his mouth, now he loathes it, IF YOU DIDN'T STOPPED THIS TIME THEN YOU'LL REGRET IT YOUR WHOLE LIFE! BECAUSE ONCE I EXPOSE YOUR INFIDELITIES AND HORRENDOUS CRIMES THERE WILL BE NO ROOM FOR YOU TO ESCAPE AND THIS TIME YOU WON'T HAVE ME TO BE YOUR PUNCHING BAG AND NEITHER THE CONTROL! SO BE MINDFUL OF YOUR STEPS!!."

With pointing his finger on his father he roared at him as jae hoon glares him with a with scowl settling on his face as Yoongi retreated from the room as he closed the main door of the house with a thud which made jae hoon flinch a little.

All of his words were ringing inside jae hoon's head and even though he was the one with more power but had an unsettling feeling developing inside him as he knew his son won't back off from what he said. He was the man of his words.

Rummaging through his pocket he pulled out his phone and dials his assistant's number. Within few seconds the call was connected as jae hoon kept the phone on the speaker mood.

"Ryu, I am assigning you a very consequential task. Keep an eye on Yoongi."

Driving towards his apartment Yoongi's mind was a mess. He knew his that if he didn't stand up this time then he'll be dragged into anything with or without his will. His grip around the steering wheel tightened making his knuckles turn white. He clearly has broken a lot of traffic rules tonight.

Arriving at the apartment he unlocked the door and went inside. Walking towards the fridge he took out the water bottle and gulps the water down his dry throat. Feeling his nerves calming down he settled himself over the couch and let the silence envelope him.

A while later he stood up and went to his office room which was beside his bedroom. Walking inside he went towards the shelf of books. The shelf was more than meets the eye. It's corners slide open to reveal a hidden door, leading to a secret room behind it. A cleverly designed entrance, hidden in plain sight.

The secret room was for the purpose of collecting all those past documents, deaths certificates and their portfolios, money laundering, illegal drug dealing, abusive use of his power leading to countless people missing,  their identities, and other criminal activity, all records of his father was safely with him in this secret room.

He walks inside the room and glances at the clock, it was half past 11. He strides towards one of the lockers and rummaged through the files finding one specific document he's been looking for.

Finding it after five minutes he finally gets the hold of that file. Taking it out he closed the locker and walks out of the room. Sitting on the chair while he puts the file down on the table, he reads the name on the brown file as he traced it before opening it.

"Kim Dong-hyun."
