I woke up next to Lloyd, who was sitting on a chair next to my bed, holding my hand tightly in his dazed state. I slipped into the shadows of the room and appeared next to him as his small head snapped up, looking frantically for me.

"Y/N?!" he yelled out. I placed a hand on his shoulder and he whipped around, a relieved expression on his baby face.

"I'm right here, bro." I said, smiling softly. Suddenly, the door slammed open and all four of the Ninja stood in the doorway, panting slightly. They looked at me with worried expressions and slowly approached me, which was not a good sign in my eyes.

"You guys alright?" I ask, looking at them weirdly. They all had looks of bewilderment on their faces, as if I had started floating or something.

"You had a panic attack out of no where and you're asking us if we're ok?!" Jay sputtered out, rushing towards me.

"Is that what that was? I've always just called them fits of anger." I asked, looking down at my hands. Jay gently grabbed my chin and looked into my fiery eyes.

"You've had these before?" he asked, softly.

"I have them almost every other week. They've just been more far and in between because I don't think about it that much ever since Lloyd and I each other." they seemed concerned at my statement, but I simply waved them off and walked out of the room. I went to my usual spot at the railings and sat down on them, my feet dangling off the edge. Soft footsteps were heard behind me and I sighed.

"I know you're there." the footsteps immediately stopped and I turned around, only to see Wu standing behind me. I glared at him and turned away, gazing at the clouds floating past me.

"What the fuck do you want?" I spat, earning a sad sigh.

"I wanted to apologize. I did not think my answer would have affected you so much." I scoffed and turned back around, my glare still in place.

"I was six years old! I thought that I did something that made you hate me! Nothing you say or do will ever grant you forgiveness for your actions. You're more evil than the Overlord himself." I spat before slipping away into the shadows, leaving him with my words hanging in the air. I went to find Lloyd, and I quickly found his small form in the training room.

"Serpentine, it's time I Spinjitzu you back into the filthy holes you came from. Ninja kick! Tiger claw! Ninja, go!" I smirked at his failed attempt to do Spinjitzu, but a menacing chuckle filled the air. Pythor suddenly appeared, and I quickly hid in the shadows once more, glaring at the serpent, darkly.

"What a joke. You were always a boy who chased stupid dreams." he spat, slithering over to the trembling boy.

"Pythor! How did you get aboard?" he asked, clenching his fists, tightly. Pythor merely picks Lloyd up, unintimidated by my brother's threat.

"You really think I would allow the Ninja to steal the Fangblades from me?" he chuckled, holding the Green Ninja away from him, "Now where is your sister? You're normally inseparable." the serpent looked around the room, and I dimmed my eyes to keep from revealing myself.

"Stay away from her! You'll never get away with this! Help—" Pythor puts tape over Lloyd's mouth and ties him to a punching bag.

"Oh, I wouldn't worry about that. As they say, out of sight, out of mind. Now off to find the Serpent-Blood." he then disappears, laughing darkly. I slowly crept out of the shadows and rushed towards the PA system. I was about to warn the others when I was grabbed from behind and roughly pulled away.

"I found you~" Pythor cooed in my ear, menacingly. I kicked him in the stomach and he immediately let go, clutching his now wounded abdomen. I took my opportunity and punched him in the eyes, temporarily blinding him. I rushed back over to the PA and grabbed the microphone.

"Pythor is on board! I repeat, Pythor is on board! Protect the Fangblades!" I screamed before turning back around to attack the snake once more. He tried to grab me again, but I bit his hand harshly, making him yelp and try and pull away, but I kept my hold and tried to rip his arm out of socket. The taste of blood filled my mouth, making me gag slightly, but with one final pull, Pythor let out an agonized shriek and I smirked, knowing I had successfully pulled his arm out. I let go and spit the blood in his face, but he disappeared before I could harm him any more. I rushed to Lloyd's side and quickly freed him.

"You alright, Bro?" I asked as he rubbed his arms. He nodded and we rushed out, grabbing a couple of weapons on our way out. We see Pythor chuckling as the Ninja and Wu are all dangling from a plank, and he slithers off, but stops upon noticing us.

"Where do you think you're going?" Lloyd asks, trying to be threatening. I roll my eyes in sync with the snake.

"Ah. A little cliché, don't you think?" he asked.

"You know what isn't cliché? Both of your arms popped out of their sockets! How bout we try that, huh?" I snarled, purple flames dancing from my eye.

"Uh, cliché?" Lloyd asked, confused at our words.

"I wouldn't expect a child to understand." that was offensive on so many levels.

"Hey, I've grown up a lot!" Lloyd stated, trying to defend his intelligence. He the attacks him, but Pythor dodges, easily.

"Hmm, puny strength, no fundamentals, sloppy footwork. You think you can defeat me?" the serpent criticizes. Lloyd merely smirks and places his hands on his hips.

"I'm not trying to defeat you. I'm just trying to keep you busy until the cavalry arrives." Nya, in her Samurai Mech, stalks up to Pythor. Lloyd manages to kick him, and celebrates early.

"Haha, I hit him. I hit him, guys! Y/N, did you see?" my brother says, excitably. I didn't answer, and instead went in to attack Pythor's injured arm once more.

"I'm gonna rip that arm clean off your body, you brother kidnapping bitch!" I snarl, gripping it tightly and pulling. He was clearly in pain as I pulled at his arm with all my strength.

"I have had enough of you, Serpent-Blood!" he seethed before grabbing me with his tail. He then proceeds to fling me off the ship, and I plummet to my death.

Shadows, shadows, shadows! Where are the shadows?!

I couldn't focus. I was too scared. I soon made contact with the harsh rock, and it was lights out for me.

Cole

I watched as the little girl I had sworn to protect plummets off the side of the Bounty and growled loudly at the snake. He merely smirked in satisfaction as he clung his injured arm.

"Oh, as much as I would like to play with your overgrown toys, I have a ride to catch." Pythor then jumps off the Bounty and lands on a Rattlecopter.

"No!" Lloyd cried in despair from the main deck.

"So long, suckers!" Pythor called. I hate that snake, so, so much.

"Don't let go!" Jay cried to Kai, who was holding us all. He was beginning to slip, though.

"You think I don't know that?" my brother in red grunted back, but he ultimately ended up slipping. We began to fall, but Nya caught us in her mech.

"Gotcha!" she exclaimed in triumph.

"I don't think I've ever been more glad to see you." Jay sighed, staring at her.

"Feel the same. Come on, he's getting away." she replied, setting us down on the deck. I immediately rushed to the side of the ship, praying that Y/N was hanging onto something, anything, but she wasn't. I didn't see her anywhere. And for the first time in years; I sobbed. I cried for the little girl I had failed to protect, the little girl I had begun to care for as my own daughter. My little girl was gone, and that in itself was the worst feeling I had ever experienced. Even worse than my mother's death.

"Cole. . .is she-" Jay couldn't even get his words out. As soon as I looked at him, his knees buckled from underneath him and he began to cry.

"She isn't going to die in vain. We're going to stop Pythor, and we're going to return his actions. He'll be given a death penalty, and I'll make sure of it." Kai seethed, his sword glowing on his back, brightly. I looked to Lloyd and what I saw was heartbreaking; he wasn't moving. He was only staring at the spot where his sister fell. This is the second time he's seen her die, except this time. . .she isn't coming back. That poor kid. I wiped my eyes and glared down at the ground, where Pythor and Skales were hijacking a tour bus. The others quickly prepare to go after the Serpentine, but I couldn't bring myself to move, I merely stared at the mountain my daughter fell to her death at.

"Cole, come on! She wouldn't want this, she would want you to fight to keep Ninjago City safe, not mourn over her." Kai pleaded, pulling me away from the railing my death grip had clung to. I nodded at him and we ran to the Bridge where everyone else was.

"If Pythor returns the Fangblades to the City of Ouroboros, he'll awaken the Great Devourer." Wu warned.

"Well, we're not gonna let that happen. For Y/N, she wanted this to stop more than any of us." Nya agreed, a determined look on his face.

"I'm coming with you." Lloyd said. This was the most serious I had ever seen him, his once childish and carefree face was now completely stoned over.

"No. We need you to stay with the Bounty." Kai stated, crossing his arms.

"That fucking snake killed my sister!" the young boy roared. We all stared at him in shock as he panted in anger, his once forest green eyes now neon.

"I know, Lloyd, but you need to be patient. You're too important now that you're the chosen one." Kai said, hugging the boy close.

"Patience, hmm? Ah, the student has become the teacher." Master Wu chuckled, although his tone was laced with sadness.

"What do you say we play a little catch-up?" Jay smirked, swinging his nunchucks around.

"It's my favorite game." I replied, smirking back. We all nodded to each other and ran out to the deck.

"Ninja, go!" we summon our vehicles and were off in seconds.

"I've got him in my sights." Jay stated, an angry tone in his voice.

"What is that? A truck?" Kai asked, squinting slightly to get a better look at the vehicle in front of us.

"That is no truck. It is a moving fortress." I gagged in disgust at Master Wu's answer.

"Watch out!" the bus's tail swung at us, and we all dodged swiftly, "How are we supposed to get close to that thing?" Kai questioned, scanning the fortress for weak points.

"If we have any chance at getting on that truck, we need to work together." I explained to my team, my instincts kicking in as my body went on autopilot.

"I've got an idea. Jay, follow me. Zane, try to get in close and cool him off." Nya ordered, and she and Jay swiftly flew off.

"Okay, I'm going in. Ninja, go!" Zane called, landing on the bus, "Goodbye." he detaches the tail of the train.

"All right. Nice one, Zane. Now let's board that truck." Jay cheered, and I smirked.

"Let's split up. Last one to the front is a rotten Ninja." Kai suggested, a slightly childish tone in his voice. I crashed through one of the windows, glaring at Skales. I summoned my Tread Assault, eagerly.

"No. No, no, please." the snake tried to plead, but I didn't listen, and fired a missile at him, blasting him off the train and making the other Serpentine run away.

"I love this thing." I sighed, looking at my beloved weapon. Nya opens up the roof and everyone jumps in.

"Cole. Good to see you." Sensei said, smiling through his beard.

"Good to see you too." I nod to him. Kai falls, letting out a small yelp, but Zane catches him, quickly.

Y/N would've laughed at that.

"Heh. Nice catch, Zane." Jay laughed. I shook myself out of my thoughts and smirked.

"Last one's a rotten Ninja." I challenged.

"Ah, so be it. But one more car to go. Pythor's in there with the four Fangblades. Who's first?" Kai asks, and Sensei Wu goes in and detaches the car.

"Sensei!" Jay cried as the car we were in starts to slow.

"What are you doing?!" I asked, worried for our teacher.

"My destiny is to face Pythor alone. Your destiny is to look after Lloyd." he replied, cryptically.

"This is turning into a habit with him. How do we get off this thing?" Kai yelled, but eventually, the car stopped in the middle of nowhere. I yawned as everyone waits by the train.

"This is really boring." Nya complained, and we all nodded in agreement. Suddenly, the Bounty's anchor attached to the train.

"Hook, line, and sinker!" the young ninja cheered.

"To Ouroboros as fast as you can." Kai ordered, earning a salute from Lloyd.

"Aye, aye, captain." we then started to fly towards Ouroboros, quickly. Soon arriving, Lloyd puts us down right after the train car Master Wu went in.

"Wait up, guys." Lloyd calls, quickly climbing down the anchor. We run in just as the giant snake statue crumbles.

"No, no. It isn't inside the statue? Then where is it?" Pythor cried as the ground beneath him rumbles, "Aah! It's so big!"

"You shall stay to see what you have done." Wu growled, grabbing Pythor by his bad arm.

"Aah! Let me go, you fool! Don't you see? It's underneath us!" the snake screamed.

"This is our destiny." Wu stated, firmly planting his ground.

"What's going on? Who's that creature underground?" Kai questioned, fear in his voice.

"You must do everything in your power to stop the Great Devourer. Go, Ninja! Go!" Wu ordered us. My eyes widened as the Great Devourer rose from the ground, fear overtaking my body.

"No, Sensei!" Kai screamed, desperately. The Devourer lunges at Wu and Pythor, and swallows them whole before looking at us.
