I haven't uttered a word since the outburst I had at Kai, and the others were beginning to get worried, although I'm not sure why. I'm nothing to be worried about, people have made that abundantly clear. In Dareth's dojo, the Ninja are training Lloyd once more, who was currently trying to light a light bulb with his lightning. The young boy grunts as Jay passes by him.
"Focus, Lloyd. Control the power inside you. When you feel a surge welling up, harness it." the lighting ninja instructed calmly.
"I understand. I am in control." Lloyd nodded, a calm expression on his face.
"Come on, Lloyd. You can do it!" Jay encouraged, but Lloyd only ends up breaking the lightbulb.
"Aah! Stupid light bulb! You're putting too much pressure on me. Let me have one more try." the young boy cried, clearly embarrassed that he couldn't do it.
"Uh, sorry, Lloyd. That was the last light bulb." Kai said as Cole hands Lloyd a broom.
"Clean up, Lloyd. We'll continue training tomorrow." the Master of Earth ordered, but Lloyd only used it to punch a punching bag. I watched from the corner as my head rested on my knees, still silent, and Kai was constantly sending glances my way.
"What am I doing wrong, Sensei Wu? I can't seem to teach him to control his power." Jay sighs, looking to my brother, sadly. Lloyd's broom hits him on the head, which made the boy start grumbling to himself.
"You dare to defy the Green Ninja!?" he exclaimed, hitting the punching bag once more.
"Patience, Jay. Sometimes, the greatest opponent we face is ourselves, and that's especially true of Lloyd. Remember where he came from. He's the son of Lord Garmadon. It's going to take time for him to embrace the light." Wu's instructions made no sense. Lloyd had excepted the light long ago, it was me who needed to except it. Nya then entered the room wearing a beautiful, red-sequined dress.
"Hey, guys." she greeted, a gentle smile rested on her face.
"Hey, Nya!" they all greeted, cheerfully, Kai hugging his sister for a few seconds before she turned to her boyfriend.
"Hey, Jay. Uh, wanna come by the auto body shop later?" her offer seemed to confuse the blue ninja.
"Uh, the auto body shop?" he asked, baffled at the strange location. Nya only nodded, cheerfully, the smile not leaving her face.
"Yeah. I got a part-time job. Thought I could fix up the Ultra Sonic Raider in my off time. Maybe if you come over, I can show you what I've been working on." she explained, earning an excited nod from Jay.
"Uh, sure, heh." he noticed Nya is holding a letter, "Uh, what you got there?"
"Oh, um, this letter came for Lloyd." she explained as she handed it to Wu, who hummed in interest.
"It's from Lloyd's old school." the old mad stated, glancing at his nephew.
"Darkley's School for Bad Boys?" Cole questioned, shooting a concerned look at his sensei.
"Formerly bad boys. Since the last time we were there, they've changed to the Darkley School for Great Children."
"Heh, wait. They've turned good?" Kai asked, looking at the letter.
"Hmm, it says here there's going to be a ceremony." Wu explained, a small smile on his aged face.
"I love ceremonies! That means there's going to be cake!" Cole squealed, looking at me with a hopeful grin. I merely turned away, still refusing to look him in the eye. I couldn't bring myself to do it, afraid that all I would see is fear in those protective chocolate orbs.
"Lloyd's change inspired them. Now they've invited Lloyd to give him an honorary degree in excellence." Lloyd suddenly breaks the broom and headbutts the punching bag.
"Are we sure we're talking about the same Lloyd?" Kai asked, questionably. I stood up from my position on the ground and walked over to the broken broom on the ground, taking the wooden half before going back to my spot in the corner. I took one of the knives from my gi's belt and began wildling it into a makeshift spear, the others staring at me with confused gazes.
"Y/N? Sweetie, what are you doing?" Nya asked as she walked over to me, taking a seat on the ground next to me.
"Spear. . ." I muttered softly, not wanting to speak in fear of saying something wrong.
"Why are you making a spear, hun?" she pressed on as I continued with my makeshift weapon. There was only silence, which I could clearly see was annoying Kai, but I chose not to do anything about it.
"That's it! Y/N, if you're planning on using that spear against yourself then just stop now. I already told you that you have no reason to be afraid of yourself." the Ninja of Fire growled, walking over to me and taking the sharp piece of wood from my grasp. Kai tossed it across the room and I stared after it, not bothering to go pick it up and continue my work. I stood up and began making my way towards the door, a numbness overcoming my senses.
"I just wanted a spear. . ." I mumbled before walking out of the Dojo, sadly. There was muffled arguing heard from inside, but I was too numb to care. Kai was right, I had planned on using it against myself. If I was gone they'd be in less danger. If I was gone then Lloyd could train and be better than I could ever hope to be. I guess I'll just live to die another day, then.

Currently, I was sat atop Rocky's head as the Ultra Dragon flew through the clouds, Jay cheering from behind me.
"Whoo-hoo-hoo! Now that we can ride the Dragon, we should get to Darkley's in no time." he commented, happily.
"If Lloyd can get us there in one piece." Kai yelped, frightfully.
"Any sudden what?" Lloyd suddenly yelled as he pulled on the reins, causing the Ninja to scream as the Dragon goes into a nose dive. I saw the school grounds and prepared to jump off, ignoring the other's screams as I jumped onto the roof and the Dragon landed on the ground.
"Hehe. At least I'm getting better." Lloyd chuckled nervously as the other stared at him. I jumped down and rolled to a stop in front of Zane, standing up and instantly going to my twin's side.
"All the same, I'll take the reins going home. Just to be safe." Cole said, staring at me with a stern glare, "As for you, young lady; are you trying to give me a heart attack?!" he yelled, shaking me by my shoulders. I didn't say anything and pushed his hands away, glaring at the ground beneath my feet. We noticed a boy with black hair tending to some flowers, and he noticed us, too, before rushing up to us, smiling.
"Lloyd?"
"Uh, Brad?"
"You came! So good to see you." the strange boy exclaimed, hugging Lloyd tightly before pulling away.
"It is? You put fire ants in my bed." Lloyd was utterly confused, but I was beyond angry.
"He what?" my question seemed to frighten the boy, as he had yet to look my way, but when he did I noticed he had a star-struck expression on his face. Brad was quick to snap out of it, though, and turned back to Lloyd, a guilty look in his eye.
"Please forgive me. I wasn't myself, and have learned the error of my ways," he then looks at the Ninja, "and you must be the Ninja!"
"Uh, guys. Meet Brad Tudabone." Lloyd said, introducing us.
"Such a huge fan!" Brad chirped as he shook the Ninja's hands, "Go good!" the boy then turned to me, offering his hand out for me to shake. Instead of shaking it, he gently took hold of my hand and placed a kiss on it.
"Who are you, waga megami (my goddess)?" my cheeks immediately flushed at the compliment and I pulled my hand away, awkwardly. Lloyd growled and pulled me closer by the hand.
"Back off my sister, Brad, she's not available to anyone." he growled, protectively. The other boy looked a bit surprised at first, but shook it off and laughed, nervously.
"Uh, please, will you follow me to see the Principal?" he requested. Lloyd kept a tight grip on my hand as we walked into the building, and there was an immediate sign that something was wrong; all the classrooms were empty.
"Uh, shouldn't you all be in class?" I asked, suspiciously.
"Actually, Tenshi (angel), today is a new Darkley School tradition: Ninja Day. We stay out of sight to honor the way of the Ninja for showing us the light." Brad explained, his consistent compliments were beginning to put me on edge. He isn't some kind of yandere is he?
"Huh, this is a good school. I'm impressed." Cole said, cheerily. We soon came upon an office door, and I let go of Lloyd's hand as I was fully aware this was a trap.
"Principal Noble? Lloyd and the Ninja are here for the ceremony." Brad called to a silhouette behind the door.
"That, and the cake. By the way, do you what kind it is?" Cole asked, hopefully.
"I'll be with you in just a moment." a man's voice called back.
"I should get back to the flowers. Would you care to join me, Kireina (beautiful)?" he offered his hand, hopefully.
"No, she wouldn't." Lloyd growled, once again pulling me closer to him. Brad shrugged and walked away, whistling to himself.
"Um, heh, has anyone seen a teacher yet?" Jay asked, starting to get worried.
"Indeed, their absence is most strange." Zane agreed.
"Well, obviously, this is a fucking-"
"I'll see you now. Come in, come in." Nobel called from behind the door, cutting me off. We all walked in, but the supposed principal was revealed to be another kid.
"Welcome back, Lloyd." his voice was extremely high pitched, and I had to bite my tongue to keep myself from laughing.
"Uh, Gene?" my brother asked, confusedly. I dove for the shadows and quickly went to find Brad, and true to his word, I saw him tending to the flowers. I growled and pinned him to the wall, causing him to scream in fright as I pulled his arms back, holding him there.
"What are you going to do to my brother?" I snarled, my eyes coming to life in flames.
"Ah, Koibito (sweetheart), I knew you would come. We're going to help Lloyd go back to being evil, and have him be our leader. Isn't that great?" he asked, escaping my hold on him and dipping me. I began to laugh at their stupidity.
"Good luck with that! Lloyd was never evil to begin with." I managed to get out through my laughter. Brad lets out a love-struck sigh and stares into my eyes.
"Your laughter is beautiful, watashi no okashi (my sweet)." he said, softly stroking my cheek.
"You have five seconds to let go of me before I kick you off this mountain." the threat only brought laughter.
"I know you'd never hurt me, Ai (love)."
"Stop complimenting me!" I snarled, kicking him in the crotch. He instantly let go of me and I did a back-handspring to stop myself from falling, the purple flames now engulfing both of my eyes. I then ran off to go save my brother from these stupid brats, but suddenly ran into Jay, although he looked different now; he was wearing shades and his skin seemed paler.
"Hey, Y/N." he said, ruffling my hair. That wasn't Jay, Jay always calls me some kind of nickname.
"Who are you?" I asked, backing up.
"It's me, Jay. Are you alright, Y/N?" he asked, walking up to me as the others rounded the corner.
"There you are, we've been looking for you everywhere." "Kai" said, ruffling my hair.
"Get off of me, fakers! Who sent you?" I snarled, pushing his hand away, forcefully.
"Of course she's the first to discover us." "Zane" muttered under his breath.
"I will ask one more time before all of Hell is released upon you. Who sent you?" my growl was low and rumbling in my chest as I balled my fists. They began muttering to one another, but I was getting annoyed as they avoided my question yet again.
"Whatever, I have no time for this." I grumbled, shadow travelling to where Lloyd was. I saw him tied up in a chair while glaring at a lightbulb.
"What are you doing?" I asked, scaring him.
"Y/N! You have to get me out of here, our friends are trapped somewhere."
"Someone's made clones of them and they're in the building." I explained while untying him. Suddenly, the door opened and there was Gene and a bunch of other boys, smirking at us.
"Aww, no way! I escaped fair and square." Lloyd whined, making Gene laugh as Brad smiled at me.
"Hehe, your friends are pure evil."
"What?" my brother asked in pure shock.
"He's talking about the clones, Lloyd." I muttered, causing him to nod at me.
"Who's your friend, Lloyd, she's very pretty~" Gene cooed, walking up to me. Brad growled and pulled him back, glaring at the pubescent boy in charge.
"She's mine, back off." he growled, lowly.
"I belong to no one!" I roar, causing more purple flames to erupt my eyes. The boys all gasp while Brad only smiled at me, his brown eyes encased in the purple hues.
"Tie them up, the girl could be useful." Gene ordered, and after many of the kids actually helped, they managed to tie Lloyd and I back to back on the ground. Lloyd began struggling against the bonds while I just sat there, waiting for the right moment to escape.
"I am Lloyd Garmadon, evil son of the super evil Lord Garmadon, and I demand you release us!"
"Eh, here's my theory on how to help the evil Ninja destroy the good Ninja;" Gene begins to write quickly on a chalkboard, "look what happens when positive energy connects with negative energy. So, if an evil Ninja manages to connect a single blow against his opposite, that same spark should be so powerful as to eradicate the good Ninja. Trust me. I'm, like, and evil genius." Gene gloats as he finished writing.
"Ha! More like innocent moron!" I laughed, my fingers light aflame as the ropes quickly burned away, "There are multiple flaws in your plan, the number one being that you're just a bunch of kids lead astray by supposedly evil teachers. You really think you can take on highly trained ninja, who are twice your size and three times your strength? Don't make me laugh." I stated, helping my brother up from the ground.
"Alright you win, I'm good. But guess what? So is Brad." Lloyd said, suddenly, grabbing my hand in case things went awry. The boy in question gulps as his fellow comrades look to him, shocked.
"That's a lie!" he protested.
"Is it? Then explain why on the day we first met you were nice to me. When I arrived here on my first day, I didn't know how things worked around here and everyone made fun of me. Brad even put fire ants in my bed."
"Hehehe. Yeah, I remember that. That was evil." Gene snorts.
"But when everyone was gone, he said he was just trying to teach me how things go. And after that, he took me under his wing, and he taught me the art of revenge." Lloyd finished, smirking as they all turned to Brad once again.
"Why would you do that?" Gene asked, offendedly.
"I wanted to get in good with his father." Brad lied, quickly, not wanting to get found out.
"No. It's because deep down, he's not all evil. And Brad's not the only one. Face it, all of you have a secret good side that stays quiet out of fear, because it thinks it's alone, but it's not. And I'm living proof. So, who's with me?" Lloyd cheered, raising our hands in the air. Brad sighs in defeat and looks at us.
"It's true. And I love planting flowers." he admitted.
"You what!?"
"Also, the Ninja saved my life. A kindness I plan to return." Brad then walked over to us and stood next to Lloyd.
"Aw, my dad is gonna be so mad." Gene scowled, walking over to us with the rest of his followers.
"Yeah, join the club." I chuckled, making them look at me.
"Who's your dad?" a random blonde asked
"Same as his." I replied, nudging my brother playfully.
"Now then, I have a plan. Who here can sew?" all the boys gasp at Lloyds question, but quickly start making mini ninja gi's. Somehow, they all finish in record time, and we charge out to the battle.
"Ninja, go!" we all scream, rushing in.
"Hey, it really is Ninja Day!" Cole says, jokingly.
"Oh, I see what they're doing! They're trying to confuse them!" Kai deducts, avoiding a punch from his counterpart.
"Yeah, but it's confusing me, too." Jay whined, worriedly.
"Keep your focus." Zane then destroys his counterpart with Spinjitzu, smirking a bit.
"It works just like Gene says. If you can land a punch, they'll be defeated!" Lloyd explained, hurriedly. Bizarro Cole is knocked back and Cole punches him, smirking proudly to himself.
"Aargh! Good riddance!"
"Don't think you can get rid of us that easily. By the way, did I mention that I kissed Nya?" Bizzaro Jay said, tauntingly. Jay was not happy about that.
"What!? You did what!?" he roared in pure anger. Jay then jumps behind his counterpart and kicks him.
"Heh. Nobody kisses my girl." he stated, crossing his arms.
"Ugh. Stay back!" Bizzaro Kai yells at me as I advanced. I suddenly threw a smoke bomb in his eyes, smirking as I hit my target, "Aw, my eyes! I can't see!" Kai punches him and looks to me.
"Ain't so bad, kid." he said, patting my head. I merely look away from him and push his hand away, creating a sigh in return. The students cheer in victory and throw Lloyd up in the air.
"It worked, Lloyd! You did it!" Brad cheered, bro-hugging my brother.
"No, we did it." Lloyd corrected, and the students cheer again as the teachers come out of the wall.
"Normally, we'd punish you for holding us captive, but I guess now that we've all learned a valuable lesson, I suppose it's cause for a celebration." Principal Nobel said, proud of the students.
"Uh, that wouldn't mean cake, now, would it?" Cole asked hopefully, but I didn't stick around for the answer. I walked outside and went to a cherry blossom tree in the courtyard before sitting down next to the trunk, burying my head in my knees.
"Why'd you run off? You were a big help in the battle." the blonde kid from earlier asked, sitting next to me.
"I'm not the most social person in the world, I normally leave that kind of thing up to Lloyd. He deserves friends more than I do."
"Why? It's not like you're a monster who needs to be isolated, right?" he asked, jokingly, but stopped laughing when he noticed I wasn't joining in, "You don't really think that of yourself, do you?" I only looked away, and that was my answer.
"I'm dangerous to be around, ok? I'm the daughter of Lord Garmadon and evil runs through my veins, whether I like it or not. My powers are unstable and I can't control them when I'm overemotional, which is another reason as to why I try to distance myself. You should go back inside, I don't wanna accidentally hurt you."
"No way am I leaving my new friend alone outside! I'll stay here with you even if you're dangerous." he said, hugging me. My eyes widened in response to his actions as I was hesitant to hug back, but eventually melted into it as tears began to stream down my face.
"Thank you." I whispered as he continued to comfort me.
"It's not a problem. I'm Levin by the way, it's nice to meet you."
"Y/N, and same." I replied, curtly. He chuckled and we talked the entire celebration away, and I learned about how he got to Darkly's in the first place and that his older brother was the only one he had left. His mother had disappeared mysteriously one day and him and Malachi ended up at the boarding school after their care taker had no way of taking care of them anymore. I explained to him my story as well and how I met my brother and the Ninja, telling stories of all the missions they've gone on and how one day Lloyd and I will be able to as well. I felt my eye lids
