Author's Note*    Readers, I am going to put this story on hold for a couple weeks- after this chapter. I might add another chapter soon after this one (-a day), but I'm just saying: don't expect too much to be updated in the next 14 days!

"I don't know. Veronica took her on a walk. She wasn't feeling very well, so I guess they went for a little chat to the waterfall. by the way, my name is Jingles. See?" He nodded his head to his collar's letters. JINGLES. The cats stared at the strange symbols in disbelief. No sooner had they looked up, a scream of panic was heard throughout the camp. "Help! Please! Help me!" Birchheart gasped. "Quick! We must help! Shellheart and Lightcloud, come with me! Willowsky... You should come with us. The rest of you, be on your guard." The four cats reached the source of the noise very fast. There were two she-cats at the top of the waterfall. The seemed to be fighting. "You never cared! You-" Birchheart tore a grey tabby she-cat off a white fluffy she-cat. The both had green eyes. The white she-cat snarled at her 'opponent'. "You didn't either. That's why you're in this mess now!" The grey tabby spat disdainfully at the older cat. Then she pounced at her again. "You're going down, Snowflower!" Birchheart understood. Veronica was the grey she-cat. Her mother was Snowflower. Now which side should he fight on? Well, most likely Snowflower, right? He and Lightcloud lunged into action, clawing at Veronica when the could. Snowflower had passed out, due to a nasty gouge in her neck which had bled endlessly. It was two against one, but Veronica seemed tireless. Lightcloud and Shellheart switched places. Now Lightcloud would guard Willowsky. The young medicine cat was doing her best to stop the wound on the white cat's neck from bleeding, but she'd only brought a small wadd of cobwebs and a few juniper berries and marigold leaves. Willowsky hastily patted the marigold onto Snowflower's neck- which was stained scarlet with blood. Birchheart came out of the fight with crimson welling on his shoulder. They'd won, but how'd they end up with so many injuries? Snowflower had the gouge on her neck and loads of scratches on her legs- as well as a torn out claw. Shellheart had a jagged, deep scratch on his back, and one of his claws had broken. Birchheart had the short gouge on his shoulder, several sctratches on his hind legs, and a puncture wound on his left front leg. How had one rogue done this? Especially such a young one? Veronica had been defeated carrying a limp because of a popped out shoulder, tons of scratches, and a small gash on her belly and another on her chest. The brought the two rogues with them as they returned to the camp, Shellheart and Lightcloud carrying Snowflower, and Birchheart supporting Veronica.

Willowsky shrieked as Veronica slashed her claws against the medicine cat's shoulder. Willowsky growled, "What do you think you're doing, fox-heart? Think you're StarClan's messenger or something? Like you're so great and holy that you do any-" The grey tabby she-cat yowled a battle cry and flung herself at the poor cat. Willowshine did her best to bite and scratch... and remember. There must be something done about this cat. Thought Willowshine.
