At Nara mansion, Yoshino calls for the boys for dinner. When Shikamaru and Naruto went into the kitchen they saw Nara Shikaku, Shikamaru 's father and the head of the Nara clan.

" Sorry to be a burden, Shikaku-san," Naruto said.

" Is not a problem. Your Shikamaru friend so it fine ." Shikaku said.

The dinner went with small talk and with Shikamaru ask if Naruto could stay because is late. And they said he could stay. As they went at sleep Shikamaru change on a pair of pajama pants and the pajama t-shirt he gives to Naruto. Naruto being short that Shikamaru. The sleep together in Shika bed. As Shikamaru in going and lying in bed making sure that Naruto has space. ( Shika bed is a one-person bed 😈😋😼) Naruto going in the bed beside Shikamaru as he let he ears and tail appear .

As morning comes and Kurama feel someone approach and didn't want to wake his kit he places a genjitsu on the fox accessory. As Yoshino walk into the room and saw the two boys she begin to giggle.

When Shikamaru wake up, his nose in Naruto's chest with his hand at his waist, bringing him as close as possible to him. Although he doesn't say out loud, he has always been attracted to this blonde. When he was die (before time travel) he wanted to tell Naruto how much he cared about him, but when he woke up in the past he was extremely happy knowing he had a chance when he felt that Naruto was his Naruto, when he saw him so vulnerable that his heart ached, and suddenly an instinct to protect him had woken up in him. '' You know we can't Shika. We don't have much time to laze maybe after we solve everything we'll have a day or two to relax and you can lazy whatever you want. '' Yeah, you will not be with me then. You will train on the day off. '' Shikamaru murmured, he had no intention of letting him go. Shikamaru thinks, 'Why don't I tell him how I feel about him now?'. Rising up with Naruto, staring into his blue eyes, they were beautiful with a touch of innocence, but not as innocent as before. They went through two wars, they lost too many friends, the family and they had to kill a lot, but Naruto was still so innocent, he didn't have anyone to love, and he doesn't want his feelings to share it. Naruto looked into the eyes of Shikamaru, who emitted many emotions, but the strongest was love, seeing him take a serious expression.

'' Shika? '' In a shy voice, when he could not read Shikamaru's thoughts, he felt a little scared.

'' I love you too, Shika.Now up for bed, we have a lot of work to do. '' he hugged back. Getting out of bed, wearing new clothes.

"Good morning, Yoshino-san / ka-chan." Naruto and Shikamaru said at the same time.

''Good morning guys. How did you sleep Naruto-Kun? "Yoshino asked with a smile on her lips.

'' I slept very well. Thank you for asking. "Naruto said.

'' What cute you dressed. What plans do you have for today? "Yoshino observed the clothes and was curious.

'' Well, Ji-chan said he has something to do with us, we don't know what and after we have training and/or missions. ''Naruto said tipping he head in one side showing adorably. Shikamaru screamed in his mind 'CUTE' trying to resist not to jump on him and suffocate him in a hug.
