Nishikata slowly opened his eyes… The room was dark because of the new curtains and the girl he liked to call his was still sleeping beside him… 

Nishikata : ( it's already a month… And it's already my birthday today…) 

Takagi : ( she too opened her eyes) good morning yuki 

Nishikata : yeah good morning….. 

The couple climbed out of the bed 

Nishikata : (he looked at his phone which was bombarded from birthday wishes from people he had never even met before) how do I have so many wishes… 

Takagi : must be everyone from the school… 

Nishikata : our internship ended yesterday ( a month just went by so quickly) it's 2 weeks of Christmas, Mogami's birthday, new years and then it's your birthday 

Takagi : I'm am so excited for that day! Are you? 

Nishikata : I'm excited… ( he said with a nervous chuckle) 

Takagi : we can enjoy that day when it comes, let's focus on yours for now 

Nishikata : yeah… 

Takagi : what's wrong you feel fairly depressed… 

Nishikata : not really 

Takagi : don't lie yuki

Nishikata : it's not really anything to be sad about its just that birthdays doesn't feel special anymore 

Takagi : what do you mean? 

Nishikata : I started feeling it starting middle school, I used to feel special during my birthday now it just feels like a normal day with just me hosting a party 

Takagi : I get that… Birthdays stop feeling special after a while ( I started feeling like that for many things after middle school) … But that doesn't mean I'll let you be sad 

Nishikata : well I didn't plan anything for today since I figured you would have something planned 

Takagi : I do have something planned 

Nishikata : ( he chuckled) finally I can predict your actions, speaking of birthdays what happened after that er… Incident at Suzuki's party? Last I heard Suzuki's Big shot dad was going to court.. 

Takagi : Sumire stayed at Mogami to act as his assistant and as it turns out the director of the NPA is much more powerful that Suzuki's dad they won the case by a landslide 

Nishikata : I'm so glad… They weren't supposed to reveal information until the verdict was passed in order to prevent defamation from each side.. 

Takagi : but defamation happened anyway, Suzuki for some weird reason wasn't expelled, and now Mogami has taken Suzuki's place… 

Nishikata : taken his place? 

Takagi : Suzuki was allowed to be an asshole since he was rich and because no one could do anything about him, but the case proved that Mogami is infact more powerful than Suzuki so all the hate surrounding Suzuki is now targeted at Mogami… 

Nishikata : I don't get why fucking high schoolers have these power and God complexes… 

Takagi : well Mogami's reputation was bad to begin with, only a few people like a random girl, hamaguchi, houjou and us actually didn't judge him, at first everyone treated him as a joke and now everyone is on edge since they know he is powerful 

Nishikata : they terrorised him before, now they know he can fuck them up if he wants to, so they're all on edge,( if my billionaire status was to be revealed all the hate would shift from from him onto me) … They don't care if the person they're hating is an asshole like Suzuki or a good person like Mogami they just want to hate on someone 

Takagi : now everyone is just afraid of him, poor Mogami… 

Nishikata : we should visit both of them soon 

Takagi : they're on a case as of now we'll only be able to talk when they're back. 

Nishikata : I see.. 

They both head outside after eating breakfast 

Nishikata : where to? 

Takagi : to the movie theater, I got some tickets 

Nishikata : I see, but it's 10 am, and the movie is at 5 pm…. isn't it a bit too early for it?

Takagi : the movie theater is a part of the mall and the mall also has an amusement park 

Nishikata : ah… I See… 

Takagi : ( she curled up around him) let's go then.. Breakfast then amusement park then movie then surprise... 

Nishikata : what surprise? 

Takagi : you'll know when you have to.. 

Nishikata : you can't just touch it like that and give no information?! 

Takagi : why do you think I touched the subject in the first place ( she said with a smirk) kept guessing while you can yuki

Nishikata : that's not fair 

Takagi : I know 

Nishikata : ( I can't really respond to that) let's just eat breakfast first…. 

They both head to the mall and roam around till they found a good place to have breakfast 

Takagi : ( she Sat down beside him) I read outside, this restaurant changes its menu depending on the time of day, maybe we could have breakfast and lunch here 

Nishikata : I don't see why not ( he checked the menu) I'll take a traditional, rice balls with miso soup.. 

Takagi : don't you like non-traditional more? [ A/N : forgive my lack of vocabulary] 

Nishikata : I mean I do but but you cook my favourite type almost everytime it's possible, I like to mix it up a bit

Takagi : ( she seemed upset) those things take time to cook you know ( she bonked his head lightly with a spoon) for traditional dishes you have to prepare from the night before you can't just change it on request 

Nishikata : I know, you're teaching me how to cook remember? 

Takagi : if you wanted some variation all you had to do is ask me… 

Nishikata : don't be upset I love your food you know that… 

Takagi : ( she gave him a smile) a traditional breakfast for me too!

The waiter brought them their meals 

Takagi : say ah ( holding the food in her chopsticks) 

Nishikata : ( he blushed) you know I can't do anything in public 

Takagi : you know you slide this restaurant actually has good privacy ( she pointed at a door) every table is in a different room that can be closed, just slide the door and we get the privacy 

Nishikata : ah ( he slid the door shut) 

Takagi : ( she held the foot close to his mouth) 

Nishikata : ( he took a bite and in the mean time got some food on his chopsticks as well) now open up 

Takagi : ( she opened her mouth and ate from from side) do you want to eat yourself or be fed? 

Nishikata : I don't mind being fed 

Takagi : I see… Then you'd better feed me too 

Nishikata : don't worry about that.

After breakfast was complete 

Waiter : here is your bill sir and ma'am 

Nishikata : let's see here ( he got the bill and was still reading it when she snatched the bill from his hands) what? 

Takagi : you're not paying, I am 

Nishikata : Takagi…. Let me pay… 

Takagi : you're not spending a single cent today yuki ( she took the money out of the purse and gave it to the waiter along with some tips) 

Nishikata : Takagi you should have let me pay, money isn't an issue anymore… 

Takagi : ( but she didn't back down) I'm not even gonna let you touch your wallet today

Nishikata : but I-

Takagi : (she got a bit annoyed) I didn't spend weeks on part time jobs just for you to pay everything, wait that didn't come out right, but yeah no spending for you 

Even more arguments later they were shopping in the mall 

Nishikata : do I really need more clothes? 

Takagi : you should get some fresh clothes yuki, your current ones are getting smaller 

Nishikata : then let's just get the basic stuff and get out of here! 

Takagi : nope we're gonna get some good clothes for you yuki 

Nishikata : but I hate shopping and I don't even have a fashion sense?! 

Takagi : don't worry about all that yuki, ( she peered around the clothes section and chose some clothes and had him try on some clothes) that's interesting … 

Nishikata : what? 

Takagi : you look the best in only two ranges of clothes, blacks whites and greys

Nishikata : so you say black grey and white suit me? ( I don't really understand all that) 

Takagi : don't get me wrong, my boyfriend look amazing in everything but it feels better with those colours… Actually add light blue and brown to that list… 

Nishikata : but why are you telling me this? 

Takagi : well you said you had no fashion sense, but knowing which colours suit you can be helpful 

Nishikata : I see.. 

Takagi : by the way what colours do you think suit me? 

Nishikata : huh? You don't know? 

Takagi : I know but I wanna ask your opinion 

Nishikata : I mean… You too look good in everything…. ( he starting to think back) 

After a few seconds of thinking 

Nishikata : cyan, white, dark blue, light pink, also peach….. That's what came to mind 

Takagi : wow! I didn't expect you to come up with an answer so quickly (she whispered to herself) note to self : wear cyan more 

Nishikata : what? 

Takagi : nothing ( she picked out more clothes for him) try these next 

Nishikata : aw cmon, we've gone through 4 sets of clothes… 

Takagi : " Prepare for trouble and make it double" 

Nishikata : ( he frowned) you're gonna make me wear 4 more? 

Takagi : 8 more atleast.. 

Nishikata : I'm a part of the single brain cell squad and I can't take this it's getting more boring… 

Takagi : ( she sighed and pushed him onto the changing booth along with her) are you trying these out or do you want me to change your clothes myself? 

Nishikata : ( he got a bit nervous) don't joke about that..

Takagi : I'll show you how serious I am.. ( she grabbed the helm of his t shirt and began to pull up) 

Nishikata : ( he held her hands) stop 

Takagi : what? ( she ran her finger over his abs) stop what yuki? 

Nishikata : ( he got goosebumps from the touch) fine…. I'll do what you said and try on more… 

Takagi : that's more like it! 

Nishikata : … 

Takagi : … 

Nishikata : … 

Takagi : what? 

Nishikata : you're still inside the changing booth Takagi 

Takagi : and? 

Nishikata : ( he was now blushing more) would you mind getting out of the changing booth? 

Takagi : ( she chuckled) yeah sorry 

As she stepped out of the booth she saw a sight that shocked her 

Mano : Takagi-chan?! 

Takagi : Mano-chan and nakai-kun? 

Nakai : well I  didn't expect to see you here… Oh Right its Nishikata's birthday right? 

Takagi : yeah but what are you two even doing here? Wasn't your school in osaka? 

Mano : you had your internship a month early but ours starts tomorrow, we'll be here at Tokyo for a few days 

Nakai : we were gonna suprise him but meh.. 

Takagi : glad to see you two are still going strong, you're gonna visit everyone? 

Mano : houjou, Sumire, and everyone else too.. 

Nakai : kimura, takao, mina, sanae and yukari were supposed to come with us but they got caught up in work 

Mano : I hear yukari wants to be news reporter 

Takagi : suits her I guess.. 

At that moment Nishikata stepped out of the booth 

Nishikata : what about this one- hey nakai! 

Nakai : hey man ( they began chatting with each other) 

Mano : ( wait… That's the same booth Takagi came out off…) ( she eyed Takagi) 

Takagi : what? 

Mano : (... They did those things in public?!) aren't you two… A Bit too young for that… 

Takagi : too young for what- OH GOD, Mano you're misunderstanding

Mano : there isn't really a good enough explanation as to why you were in there with him, ( she whispered) but to do all that here… You two are… Brave… 

Takagi : ( she chuckled) I assure you, you are misunderstanding.. ( though I wouldn't mind if the misunderstanding was true..) 

After chatting for some more mano and nakai decided to give them some privacy 

Nishikata : where next? 

Takagi : amusement park. 

Nishikata : why didn't we go there first?! 

Takagi : then you'd be extra bored here if you did all the exciting stuff first 

Takagi curled around him 

Takagi : half a day to go!! Lets go

Nishikata : yeah
