Beware of the Time skips
(Y/n) P.O.V.
After I had kissed Kakashi's forehead he began to stutter, which is very unusual for him. Once he was gone I sluggishly walked to my kitchen to put away my boxes of dango, only to meet up with Kushina. After receiving a welcome home and some mindless conversations, we excused ourselves to our separate rooms. Letting out a tired yawn, I changed into my pj's before flopping onto my soft and welcoming bed.
Time skip
The sun's warm rays peaked through my windows as it was now morning. Getting up, I stretched and checked the time.
7:00AM
Still enough time. I took a quick look out the window and began to remember something. I kissed Kakashi...
My face erupted into a deep shade of red as my tail began to fluff out. "I was super tired, I zoned out, I was extremely happy, I didn't know what I was doing! Wait. WHAT IF HE TAKES IT THE WRONG WAY!?" I was in the mist of mentally screaming at myself as I was having a mental breakdown.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! WHY AM I SO STUPID!?"
On a different note though, I did kind of accomplish one of my very old dreams... But this could ruin my friendship with him. Oh what am I going to do. I sighed.
"Welp. Nothing will be done if I just stay here panicking about it." That being said I rushed to the bathroom to do my morning routine.
Time Skip
Once I was finished, I curled up into a little ball and tried to process everything that had happened.
Kakashi walked me home.
I waved him over to my window.
And then.... I zoned out. Too overwhelmed by happiness to actually think about the consequences.
I sighed again. I really am a hopeless idiot aren't I? I'm going to have to clear this up with him.
I stayed curled up on the floor for a bit, brushing my the tip of my tail over myself in a calm, soothing manner. Letting out a deep breath, I heard a soft knock on my door. Reverting to my human form, I walked cautiously to the source of the sound, grabbing my stuff in the process.
"Who is it?" I ask softly, starting to wonder if the person even heard me.
"kshi..." The person mumbled.
'What? You know forget it.' I think to myself as I inhaled deeply, getting a whiff of the scent of the person on the other side. 'Kakashi?'
Opening the door hesitantly, It revealed the silver headed, ninja in training.
"Well look who decided to use the door this time." Kushina remarked.
"G-good morning, Kakashi-kun." I stutter out. 'Shiz! every time I look at him I just keep thinking about last night.'
"Morning..." He responded. He sounded distant, nervous even. He took a step back, allowing me to get out of my house. After that we just began to walk to school, me looking at my feet and him staring straight as we walked. The atmosphere was very awkward and uncomfortable really.
"I cant help but feel like we missed something." Minato whispered to Kushina, to which she nodded her head.
"We should go..." Kakashi muttered as he began to walk off.
"Yeah..." I agree as I followed him.
"So... um..." I started, deciding to break the very thick wall of silence that grew between us. "About last night..."
His eyes trailed over to mine, showing that he was listening. Only to flicker back to the path in front of him once our eyes had met. I could hear his heart began to beat faster at the mention if last night, only making my blush spread.
"Can we just forget that ever happened? I was just very happy at the moment that I guess I just blanked out. I understand if my presence bothers you now." I said, my voice got softer at every sentence.
There was a silence before I heard a soft, "yeah..." followed by footsteps.
I matched my speed with him so we were now sided by side. Now staring into his deep, mysterious, jet black eyes as I walked, I began to search for an expression. Seeing that his face held a calm expression made me give a sigh of relief.
Turning my attention back to the path in front of me, I see that we were now in front of the academy. We both walked to our class and took a seat near the back of the class. I glanced at Kakashi to see that he was staring blankly out the window. Feeling a light tap on my shoulder, I turn around to see Iruka smiling brightly at me.
"Morning, (Y/n)-chan!" He greeted me happily.
"Good morning, Ruka-kun."
After exchanging greetings, we had our own little conversation until our sensei came in and begun class. I watched as Iruka returned to his seat next to Mizuki before focusing on the teacher.
Time Skip
I am now on the playground playing tag with the other kids. A girl with long blue hair was it at the moment. What was her name again? H- Hiro something... Oh well, guess its not really important then. Anyways, currently, Kakashi, Rin, Obito, and me is currently hiding behind some of the trees as we catch our breaths. Rin tried to make conversation with Kakashi, but seeing how it was not going so well, she turned to me instead."
"So, (Y/n)-chan. What's your plans for after school?"
"I was gonna go train again actually."
"Don't you ever do anything but train in your free-time?"
"Yes."
"Then what?"
"Sleep, cook, and draw."
"Well then how about we have a sleepover at my house after school then?"
"Um, well I-"
"Alright then it's settled!" She chirped happily.
Oh God, what did I just get myself into?
"Can I come too?" Obito joined.
"Sorry, girl's only." Rin replied.
"So (Y/n), my house after school..."
I let out a quick breath. "Okay okay, but after training okay?"
"Okay. How about I join you? We can be sparing partners!" She proposed.
"Sounds good to me."
"Then i'll come too." Obito interjected.
"Me too." Kakashi added.
I just sweat dropped then looked up quickly, feeling a presence near us.
"Tag! Your it!!" A girl with straight black hair pulled into a low ponytail shouted as she tagged Obito.
"Shit." He mumbled as his eyes widened in shock. At that same moment, I along with everyone else was already gone.
I silently laughed when he spotted Kakashi and took off in his direction. That boy... I'm gonna miss him... Oh well, not something I should be thinking about right now. Yeah! Gotta keep it positive!
"Hmm."
Wait a second here. I snapped my head in the direction of the voice. Kakashi.
"Tag." He said quietly and jumped away.
"I DIDN'T EVEN- WHERE DID YOU EVEN COME FROM!!??" I cried in surprise, jumping slightly.
Before I could even d anything, the teacher came and called us all back inside.
Dang...
I jumped off the tree I was standing on and dashed towards the teacher as they class began to file back into the academy.
Time skip
Class was now over and the four of us was now walking towards the training grounds.
"Wait here." I said as I stopped and turned around to face them.
"What is it?" Obito asked curiously.
"I'll be right back, I just have to get my training uniform."
"But, isn't your house a couple blocks away?" Kakashi pointed out.
"Don't worry, I shouldn't take long." I promised, and with that I made a few hand seals and poofed away.
Reappearing in my room, I rush to my closet and throw on my training outfit before poofing back to the training area. No one was there yet so I just sat and waited.
Hmm... What should I do as I wait for them?
...
...
...
"Oh!" I exclaimed as I pounded my fist into my palm. "I could come up with other jutsu's that I could practice later on!"
Sitting on a rock, I began to think.
'Maybe it doesn't have to be a jutsu... Maybe something I know from somewhere else... Like, like... Flash step! Yeah, that could come in handy. And flying too! Wait! They never explained how that was done though... Wait wasn't there an episode when Gohan was teaching Videl and Goten how to fly? There was... But that was with energy or kai, and I only have chakara... I guess it shouldn't matter though... Right? Alright, then I'll give it a try la-'
"(Y/n)! There you are!" Someone exclaimed. My guess is that it was Rin.
"How did you get here so fast?" Obito asked.
"Oh that was just the simple teleportation justu." I answered.
"Eh?" Rin and Obito chorused as Kakashi just looked curiously at me.
"Well, I spend most of my free time training, or reading, usually some jutsu I could practice later. Due to this, I found the teleportation jutsu in something I was reading, deemed it useful, then practiced it until I finally got it down and mastered. Actually, It was either this or the Flying Ragin Technique, and turns out it's was a total and complete pain to master. I'm not even halfway close to mastering it since it requires a large amount of chakara that I can't handle. " I explained.
"That's... SOO COOL!! CAN YOU TEACH ME?" Obito exclaimed with stars in his eyes.
"Maybe later. If possible, I could teach you other things I learned." I said non-nonchalantly as I took in the short-lived moment of fame. Man it does feel good to be the center of attention sometimes, but it's not something I appreciate too often for I was never one for to much attention.
"So what shall we do for training? Kakashi asked.
"I was actually hoping to increase on my taijutsu right now."
"Right now?" Rin questioned.
"Oh yeah! I've been working on my stamina mostly with Guy when I wasn't hunting for useful jutsu."
"That explains why I haven't received as much challenges from him lately." Kakashi concluded. "I guess I should thank you."
"I wouldn't if I were you. He seemed to have gotten a lot stronger than before." I said in a playful tone. "Your going to have to train harder to keep him from beating you one of these days now."
"Is that so?"
"Mmmhmm."
"Really? Guy? Beat Kakashi?" Rin asked in amazement.
"Then I guess we should get started then." Obito said, rather annoyed by the thought of someone else other than himself beating Kakashi.
"Alright! Me and you Rin, let's go!"
"Are we doing teams?" She asked.
"Sure."
"Then me and Kakashi is a team!" She chirped before anyone could object.
"Okay, looks like you'll be on my team Obito-kun." I said with a cheerful closed eye smile.
His annoyed expression to fade ever-so-slightly, but I could tell he was still not with the whole idea of Kakashi and Rin on the same team. Kakashi on the other hand, was glaring at Obito the whole time. I wonder why...
"Yeah."
"I'll leave Kakashi to you then for now. I believe you have the strength to beat him." I gave him a determined smirk and rested my hands on his shoulder.
At this, his frown completely disappeared and was replaced with a confident grin.
"Yeah! Just leave it to me!" He exclaimed as he puffed out his chest proudly.
"Then let the match begin!" I declared as I got into my fighting stance.
Dashing at Rin, I sent a kick aiming at her head and pause a centimeter away from her face when she blocked. Since she left everything else wide open, I took that chance to pull my foot away and sweep kick her, causing her to fall to the ground. Sending a heavy kick down in her direction, she rolled over to avoid my attack.
In turn, Rin popped up and tried to kick me in the gut. I countered her attack by kicking her leg away from myself and sent a firm round-house kick to her side.
Recovering quickly, She began to throw a flurry of punches at me and I managed to just barely block all of them. As I blocked a punch coming to my face, I felt a strong wave of pain in my gut. Looking down for that split second, I had realized that she had landed a punch without me noticing. I pulled back and took a quick second to recover from the pain before jumping back into action.
Glancing back at Kakashi's and Obito's little battle, I noticed that Kakashi was about to hit Obito with a blow that could've sent him to the hospital if struck in the wrong spot. Dodging a punch from Rin, I looked for the spot that Kakashi was about to hit. It seemed safe until Obito shifted.
Body acting on it's own, I dashed in front of Kakashi and blocked his fist with both hands. I dug my feet into the loose, sandy dirt, trying my best to keep my balance from the blow. The impact caused me to slide back a couple of inches. Kakashi tried to kick my legs, which I easily blocked, and at that same moment, Rin had also tried to land a punch on me. Pulling one of my hands free, I blocked her punch, grabbing it in the process. When she tried t punch me with her other hand, I copied my earlier motion.
Kakashi, who was still standing there, took this moment to try and land a punch of his own on me. Unable to dodge, I braced myself for the blow as I wrestled with Rin. After about of second or two of not feeling anything, I look to my side to see that Obito had blocked Kakashi's attack and was now reengaging in battle with him. I gave him a thankful nod before returning back to my battle.
I was now trying my best to push back Rin as we wrestled. Feeling my muscles staring to strain and a wave of tiredness rush over me, I decided that I should I would have to finish this now. Letting Rin overpower me for a quick second, I dropped to the floor and let her trip over myself. As she was falling, I got on my back and thrusted my legs upwards. My feet connected with her stomach in that exact instant, sending her flying upwards. Using that split second to my advantage, I sprung to my feet and stomped on her stomach as she fell to the ground. At that same time, I let myself hover over her frame and pretended that I was going to punch her in the face. I saw her close her eyes as she flinched and prepared for the impact that would never come. Opening her eyes again, she saw my fist just a couple of centimeters from her face.
"You done?" I asked.
She gave a shaky sigh and nodded.
Getting off of her, I dusted myself off and helped her up. After we expressed our sportsmanship, I rushed off to the next battle. Once I got there, I saw that Kakashi had Obito pinned down. I took this chance to sneak up behind Kakashi as he released Obito from his hold.
"I guess that just leaves you and me huh, Kashi-kun?" I spoke.
He turned around and faced me before replying. "I guess so."
Both already in Fighting stance, we both took off towards each other.
Mini Time Skip
After a very tiring battle, I gathered all of my strength into my fist. This will be the last blow, the blow that could end it all. Apparently, Kakashi had the same idea, for he was also beginning to stagger. We both ran towards each other landed a punch on each other's face.
In all honestly, it hurt. It hurt like hell.
I could feel the pain flow from my face to the rest of my body. My body is at it's limit. I let my exhaustion and pain overwhelm me as I hit the floor. My last thoughts echoed through my head before I blanked out.
Did I win?

"(Y/n)."
This voice...
"(Y/n)!"
"(Y/n)-chan~"
I slowly opened my eyes to see Rin and Obito hovering over me.
"So sleeping beauty awakens." I hear a voice say.
Looking over to my side, I see a barely awake Kakashi.
"Haha. Very funny." I said sarcastically. "Who won anyways?"
"It was a tie." Rin and Obito said simultaneously, although, Obito looked fairly annoyed.
"Now about that sleep over..." Rin continued.
"Yeah yeah. Just let me get my stuff and ask for permission." I said as I eased myself off of the ground, stretching like a cat in the process. Once I was on my feet again, We all began to make our way to my house to grab my stuff.
