Talk? Like, of what exactly? Sebastian? Their gang? What?

Ash saw the hesitation written in my face and quickly came into action. "It's not really something bad. It's just about what has happened lately. Don't stress, okay?"

I bit my lip and glanced at Shadow, hesitantly. He was looking down at me with a fierce expression- a look of protection.

I let out a sigh and said,"Yeah, okay. No problem."

I frowned and looked at my hands set in a double fist on the table. I'm not hungry anymore. I really had no idea why I was freaking out, but there was just something... impelling me. I don't know. There was just an anticipationg heading toward me. I couldn't tell if it was good or bad thing. It kept me on the edge of my seat though. 

I looked up at the others and nodded them to go ahead. Ash nodded and took a deep breath. "Let's start from the beginning or did Shadow already tell you?" The other raised eyebrows as they looked at Shadow beside me. 

"Not that much. Mostly the basics," Shadow replied. 

"Oh, okay, then. Well, I start by saying that we have been on this for quite a young age. Like, I don't know. 14 or 15 maybe? It just happened you know. We were on that stage of wanting to rebel against our parents wishes and so we kinda went from there. Also, people didn't (not a surprise) understand why we dressed up like this and some actually took it to violence 'cause apparently they thought we were "faggots", "emo, and "gay". And that pissed off all of us and so we started fighting back for what we believed in. Me and Shadow were the first ones who started fighting along with Sebastian. TJ and the others later on were new additions to our gang."

"Not really a gang, but rebellion I guess you could say. There are no gangs that dress up like this since they're gangbangers and most are just fakes. They don't realize when they're actually doing until it's too late to take it back," Ash finished. He looked at TJ, who has a sour face, but finally sighed. 

TJ continued. "Then drugs came in. Other gangbangers offered, but we didn't want to mess with that shit. Yeah, we were having fun getting into street fights and street races, but we would not mess with it. When you in it, you can't get out."

"Then after two years we started noticing Sebastian's changed behavior. Like, he was always sour and... he was just so negative. Whenever Shadow would give us orders Sebastian would try to take in charge. Like, he would ignore Shadow's orders and instead would try to handle it himself. It pissed all of us since we chose Shadow--not him," TJ finished with a 'humph'. 

Flash ran a hand through his orange-yellow streaked hair and then continued with the story. "Then for some reason we kept getting things wrong like we kept getting caught-- like with the cops and our enemies. Maybe it was karma, but we were always so careful that it wasn't possible for that to happen to us. We thought,'Hell no. Someone from our gang is ratting out on us' and dammit, did it get us pissed that someone from our gang would do that. It was some fucked-up shit I tell you."

"It took us awhile to find out who it was since people didn't say shit. Now they keep their mouths shut! Ha! And there was another complication 'cause it could've been the person next to us or in back of us. It was hard and we didn't tell anyone. Well, I didn't know since I was still new, and they had their suspicions 'bout us, but I knew after they caught him. Anyways, it was only Shadow, Ash, and TJ who knew. They were gonna tell Sebastian, but from his weird mood swings and all they decided not to. They were smart." Flash smiled and looked questiongly at Ash.

Ash waved his hand in front of him and said,"Go ahead. Your on a roll here and your making this less awkward." Then he smiled.

Yeah, well, I was having the difficulty of swallowing all of this in. Wow. I licked my dry lips and looked up at Shadow's face. His face was clenched and dark. Anger, maybe? I let my fingers linger on his cool hand. His blue eyes snapped to my face and he immediately intertwined our fingers. I softly smiled and he smiled back in return. This time his face was filled with relief and tenderness.

Someone cleared their throat and I looked around to see the other guys staring at our small, private exchange. I felt my cheeks go to flames, while Shadow laughed, and casually wrapped an arm around my waist.

Flash arched an eyebrow and then shook his head. "Anyways, um, where was I? Oh. Oh, okay, thanks!"

"So, they did this behind his and everyone's back till they found out what has been happening. Like, I said before, this took a loong while, and they didn't really find answers to their questions. So, Shadow had to go hard on them and then they spilled some things. Yeah, they got pissed when Shadow would beat the crap right out of them, but things do get dirty and bloody on the streets so what the hell are they complaining about? Anyways, after some clues, and such they got to put the pieces together and found out who it was. You already know who it is, but whatever. So, yeah, Sebastian got caught red-handed...Is that how they say it? That's beside the point!" Some of us chucked at how theatrical he was. 

"Jonathon, continue for me, would you? I'm kinda out of breath here," Flash relaxed on his chair and crossed his legs. Jonathon silently nodded and continued:

"Shadow was pretty mad when they found out, but we kinda had that feeling inside of us that this was his doing, but we really didn't want to believe it. It was sick finding out. After that we didn't really know what to do. Well, TJ wanted to break his face like that-" He snaps his fingers "But other than that we felt useless and just frozen. What kept running through our heads was,'How could he do this to us? We've known each other since our early teens and I never thought he would ever do such a thing. That piece of shit is gonna pay.' And all that. It was mind-blowing, but Shadow couldn't let him go further than that. He was planning to tell Sebastian, but then a street race came along... And things got more hellish." They guys looked at Shadow who was staring blankly at the clock on the wall beside him. I stayed quiet and waited for Shadow to respond as I put pressure on his fingers. 

Shadow gently squeezed back and slowly said,"I was going to confront him in one of our secret headquarters, but then the race came in, and so I had to wait after the race was finished. Me, Sebastian, and Nora were in the car... And you pretty much know the rest. Sebastian's jealousy turned into pure hatred. I didn't need him saying it to me to get the message."

"After the accident we had rarely talk. He wouldn't show for any of the meetings and such. I knew everything between us was over. I just didn't expect for it to get more messed up... One day we were just hanging around in one of our head quarters and the next thing you, there he is-- knocking on the door. When I let him in I was unsure of what to make of this, but I decided why not? Stupid move. He let me go first and I didn't notice that he had unlocked the door to let... his companions in." He sneered at the word. 

"Everything went by in a blur after that. I really was left speechless when he brought up a gun fron his pocket and started shooting everyone. Mostly it was me, but I amazingly was able to dodge every bullet. Others weren't so lucky though. He had wounded a small portion of them like TJ here, but he was able to kill two of my friends. And he dragged one away and killed him later. Till this day I have no idea what he had against Sykes..." 

My insides went frozen. Sykes... I know that name from somewhere... I've heard it from somewhere. From an old, terrible memory. 

I blinked a couple of times and looked at Shadow with no emotion. "Sebastian killed Sykes?" I whispered. Shadow's blue eyes met mine and he slowly nodded.

My eyes widened and then an old memory seeped in...

I was hiding under a thick bush and my whole body was filled with fear and sadness. I heard the shuffling of clothes.... My head snapped up and I found myself looking into two brilliant blue eyes....

Blue eyes...

WHAT?!? 

I glanced up at Shadow with fearful eyes and I wished I could wrench my hand away from his hold. I was disgusted, but confused at the same time.

Shadow had said that Sebastian had killed Sykes, but then who was who was that person with the painfully same blue eyes as Shadow...My Shadow was a gangbanger, but could he really....?

Now Shadow's hands were on my shoulders and he was gently, but fiercely shaking me that it silently rattled my teeth.

"Arielle! What's wrong?" He said, with worry sketched in his face.

My confused, narrowed eyes found his worried ones and I said,"I saw you kill Sykes."

Now it was his turn to frown in confusion. 

Things didn't make sense now and they were scaring me.

Things are getting... weirder. Yep. They are. So, now you have more questions answered, but unfortuanely more questiona have followed. Oh and you have no idea who Sykes is then go read the Prologue again. I forgot that I have changed the whole thing. I still have chapter one, but it has been moved. So, yeah, read it if your confused. :)

Oh and we really have to stab Sebastian because of his meaninies! Where is he by the way... Oh and school is over for me, but I'm sad 'cause Imma miss my friends a hell of a lot!!!! :( Are you guys still in school?
