Elita-1 looked was at the computers. No one, besides Optimus and Serenity, talked to her.

Even Optimus and Serenity were distant at times. The sound of peed steps brought her attention out.

She looked behind her and saw Bumblebee. He looked at her and scowled, starting to walk away.

"Bumblebee...", Elita-1 said, reaching out her hand. Bumblebee snapped his head to look at her and Elita-1 realized nothing she said would make up for what she did.

Not now at least, maybe never. Bumblebee then continued his way out, not saying anything.

"Poor Bumblebee...", Harvester whispered, while standing next to Bulkhead and handing him his sketching designs for the ground bridge. "Yeah, I've never seen him this way.", Bulkhead agreed, pausing his work to look at his friend.

"He lost someone very important to him. I know what that is like.", Violet said, walking into the room. Bulkhead then narrowed his optics at Elita-1, who had her back turned to them.

"It's all her fault! How could Serenity and Optimus allow her to stay with us?", Bulkhead whispered. But, what he didn't know it that Elita-1 heard him and she lowered her head slightly.

"She wasn't completely in her right mind. Ratchet did a scan on her processor and found that the organic mutation had worked its way into her brain.", Harvester whispered back. "Yeah? Well, I don't think Bumblebee will ever be that same. She not only killed Jetstar, she killed Bumblebee, too.", Bulkhead whispered.

Elita-1 couldn't take anymore, before transforming. She headed out of the base.

She didn't know where she was going. True, she had reached her goal of becoming a robot again.

She hadn't counted the cost of it. Now, she no longer belonged on Earth or Cybertron.

"Maybe I should just go to a distant planet somewhere.", Elita-1 said to herself. She found herself at the docks.

Before transforming, she looked out to Dinobot Island. The only place she had been excepted.

"Elita?", Serenity called out. She turned around to see Serenity standing there.

"What are you doing?", Serenity asked. Elita-1 turned back to look at the island.

"Thinking.", Elita-1 replied. That was all she answered.

Serenity then stood by her, not talking. "You miss her, too?", Elita-1 asked, although it was more of a statement.

"Yeah, no point in denying it.", Serenity said. "It's all my fault! How can you even stand to be around me?", Elita-1 asked, while turning away.

Serenity then grabbed her hand. "Elita, I'm not going to honey coat this. This is going to be hard... For everyone. Not just you. I miss her... I miss Bumblebee. But, I also missed you. When you were taken from us. Things may never be the same as they were. But with time, they may get better.", Serenity told her.

Elita-1 pulled her hand away and looked out again. "You know, back in that cave, I said some pretty hurtful things to you. I was jealous that you had Optimus and I had no one. You even had Sentinel... Not that anyone wanted him.", Elita-1 said.

Serenity gave a dry laugh at that. "But, I let that hurt control me. It was my fault that we landed on that planet. You and Optimus both wanted to go back. But, I pushed you forward. And, if I was in Optimus' position, I probably would have done the same thing.", Elita-1 admitted.

Serenity put a comforting hand on her shoulder. "I think we are all to blame for a little bit of it. But, we shouldn't dwell on it. We have a chance to make things right now.", Serenity said.

"Right.", Elita-1 agreed. "I don't think I ever can.", Elita-1 continued.

She transformed and drove away from Serenity. Elita-1 found a way to make it back to Dinobot Island.

She saw the Dinobots doing their normal thing. The island was almost as she remembered it...

Except for the part of the island where Jetstar had exploded. The trees were burnt, the ground was scorched, and the whole place looked like a desert.

Elita-1 walked down into it. She felt it was time to face what she had done.

Part of her didn't want to look at the place too much. Another part felt she needed to.

She ignored that part, as she kept her optics on the ground and walked into her old laboratory. She at her old webs that contained the bugs she had captured.

She looked at her old computer. She looked at the pod.

That pod that contained Jetstar. That pod that had mutated her.

That is when Elita-1 broke down. She fell to her knees and wept.

"I murdered her! I murdered her!", Elita-1 said, as she kept repeating it. She didn't know how long she had been there when a scraping noise caught her attention.

Elita-1 jumped up and prepared herself for what was to come her way. Though, a part of her didn't care.

She didn't think she could face what it was. Just like she couldn't face what she had become.

But, she wasn't prepared for what or I should say who came into the lab. "Jetstar!", Elita-1 practically shouted out.

Jetstar looked at Elita-1. "You!", Flystar yelled out and tried dragging herself out the door away from Elita-1.

Elita-1 then ran to her. "Jetstar! You're alive!", Elita-1 shouted out.

But, Jetstar pushed her away. "Me no longer Jetstar! Me Flystar!", Flystar said, still in her bug form.

Elita-1 was saddened at this. "I'm not that bot anymore... I want to help. Please! Please let me help you, Jetstar.", Elita-1 said.

"Why Flystar trust you? You turn Jetstar into Flystar!", Flystar said. Elita-1 felt a tear fall at hearing this.

"I need to redeem myself. Please! Please let me help. I know there is no reason you should trust me. But, I'm all you have right now. Please...", Elita-1 begged. Flystar narrowed her optics at her.

"Fine.", Flystar said. Elita-1 immediately started carrying her over to her work table.

"I will fix you, Jetstar. If it's the last thing I do.", Elita-1 said. And she meant it, too.

Elita-1 was so deep in her work, she didn't even realize what time it was, until Serenity checked in on her. "Elita, are you there?", Serenity asked.

Elita-1 then jumped. Jetstar was already in recharge.

Elita-1 turned on her com. "Yeah, Serenity. Do you need something?", Elita-1 replied.

"Why are you whispering?", Serenity asked. "Oh! Um... I... Uh... I'm on Dinobot Island and I don't want to disturb the Dinobots.", Elita-1 replied.

This was true. Elita-1 didn't want to disturb them.

But, she also didn't want Serenity involved with what she was doing. It was Elita-1's fault Jetstar was in this mess.

And Elita-1 wanted to do a major part in it. True, Serenity would turn Flystar in Jetstar again.

But for now, Elita-1 wanted to be the one to repair her. "Okay! It's sunset. Are you coming back anytime soon?", Serenity asked.

Elita-1 looked at her old bed. "I think I will stay here for tonight.", Elita-1 replied.

"Are you sure?", Serenity asked. "Yeah, I'm sure.", Elita-1 replied.

"Alright! If you need anything, let me know.", Serenity said, then she hung up. "I'm sorry, Seri. But, this is something I need to do.", Elita-1 said.

"Bumblebee...", Flystar whispered. Elita-1 looked over at Flystar.

"Bee...", Flystar kept whispering in her sleep. This gave Elita-1 even more determination to fix.

But, also saddened her at the same time. She then grabbed Jetstar's hand.

"You will see him again. I promise.", Elita-1 said. She couldn't sleep, knowing now that Jetastar was alive and needed her help.

This was her chance to help her. Finally, she did fall asleep on her notes.

"Elita-1! Come in.", Optimus called in. It was Optimus.

She then sat up and felt her spark stir. "No... He is meant for Serenity. I need to move on. I don't want to be what comes between them.", Elita-1 said to herself, as she turned on her com link.

"Yeah, Optimus?", Elita-1 asked. "Serenity told me you spent the night at Dinobot island.", Optimus said.

"Yeah...", Elita-1 yawned. "Well, you should probably come in. It's not healthy for you to be there.", Optimus told her.

Elita-1 looked at Flystar, still asleep. "I'll come in a little bit.", Elita-1 said, getting up.

"No, you need to come now. Or we'll come over there.", Optimus said. Elita-1 looked at Jetstar.

Maybe she should have them come. But, would that just complicate things?

Especially with Bumblebee. "Okay! Okay! I'm coming.", Elita-1 said.

She turned off her com link and gently shook Star awake. "Okay, I'll be back. But, I need to go for a little bit.", Elita-1 said.

Star started to get off the table. "Flystar go with. Flystar wants to see Bumblebee.", Flystar said.

Elita-1 gently pushed her back down. "And you will. But, for now, you need to rest and gain some strength. I'll be back! Don't worry.", Elita-1 reassured her.

She made her way back to the mainland and back to the base. She wasn't met by any welcome backs or good to see yous.

Only the glares of her new team. Especially a small yellow bot.

Once Bumblebee saw her, he sent her and glare and started heading for the exit. "Bumblebee! Wait!", Elita-1 said, while grabbing his arm.

He then pulled it away harshly. "Don't touch me!", Bumblebee growled.

He then transformed and drove out. Elita-1 watched him go.

A part of her wanted to tell him that Jetstar was alive. But, another part told her that if she did.

He would not want her to be the one to fix her or be anywhere near her. And he couldn't blame him.

She started to head into her room when a small servo touched her. "Elita-1? Is there something I could do to help?", Harvester asked.

Elita-1 then looked at Harvester. Harvester, Bulkhead's girlfriend, Ratchet's sparkling, and the second medic on the team... SECOND MEDIC ON THE TEAM!

"There is a way you can help.", Elita-1 said, as all her sadness washed away. She then pulled the young bot closer.

"Can you keep a secret?", Elita-1 asked. Harvester then looked unsure.

"It's nothing bad. It's actually something very good.", Elita-1 continued, as she looked around, "Is there somewhere private we can talk?", Elita-1 asked.

Harvester then lead her to the top of the base. "What is it that you want to say?", Harvester asked.

"Well, it's hard to believe. But... Um... You know how I was at Dinobot Island yesterday?", Elita-1 stuttered. Harvester then nodded.

"Well... I... I found... You are not going to believe it.", Elita-1 continued. "Elita-1, can you just tell me already? You keep walking back and forth and making no sense.", Harvester said.

Elita-1 didn't even realize she had started pacing. "Oh, yeah! I can see where that would be distracting.", Elita-1 said.

She then slid down the wall. "You know I'm not proud of what I did... But... I found... I found...", Elita-1 continued.

She couldn't get the words out. "Found what?", Harvester asked, the curious part of her taking over.

"I found Jetstar.", Elita-1 replied. Harvester then turned paler.

"You found her offline parts?", Harvester asked, backing up. "Nononono! I found her online.", Elita-1 replied.

Harvester's mouth then hung open. "She was badly damaged and I need help repairing her.", Elita-1 said.

Harvester was silent with her mouth still gaping open. "You don't believe me. But, I'll show you!", Elita-1 said.

"If she is alive, why haven't you told the others?", Harvester asked. Elita-1 then hung her head.

"I... I needed to redeem myself. I need to prove that I'm an Autobot again.", Elita-1 replied. Harvester then crossed her arms.

"You should at least tell Bumblebee-", Harvester said. "No!", Elita-1 told her, cutting her off.

"If I tell him, he won't let me near her. I need to do this and you're a medic. You would let me help and still let me help! Please.", Elita-1 continued. Harvester then thought for a moment.

"Fine! But, we tell Serenity.", Harvester said. "I... I can't!", Elita-1 said, while looking away in shame.

"Why not?", Harvester asked. "Because, I need to do this.", Elita-1 replied.

"Okay, but your involving me. Why not her?", Harvester asked. "Because you are a medic.", Elita-1 replied.

"She can make the mutation go away. It would have made sense for you to go to her before you came to me.", Harvester said. "Can we just drop this and go?", Elita-1 asked, getting annoyed.

"No! Not until you tell-", Harvester told her. "Because I don't want to let her down again!", Elita-1 shouted out.

"W-What?", Harvester asked, surprised. "We were best friends before all this happened. And since then, I've tried to kill her. Break up her and Optimus. Experiment on her. Blamed her. If this doesn't work I don't want to let down my best friend again.", Elita-1 explained.

She turned away from Harvester, ashamed of her tears. Harvester then put her hand on Elita-1.

"Okay, we'll keep this just between us.", Harvester said. Elita-1 ran back to Harvester.

"Thank you. Let's go! I promised I wouldn't leave her long.", Elita-1 said. Once again, on the island, Harvester was amazed and happy to see Jetstar still online.

Even if she was in critical condition. They spent the next week together.

Covering for each other when the other was gone and trying to keep up appearances. "You've been really distant lately, Harvester. Is everything okay?", Bulkhead asked one day.

Harvester didn't want to lie. She then looked over at Bumblebee.

"I'm doing something right now to try and help Bumblebee.", Harvester replied. "I can help! I want to make Bumblebee happy, too.", Bulkhead said.

Harvester quickly shook her head. "Sorry, Bulk. This is something I need to do.", Harvester said, as she tried to cover herself.

Bulkhead then looked hurt. "Okay, but if you need me. I'm always here for you.", Bulkhead said, sadly.

As Bulkhead walked away, what they didn't realize is another fem bot heard their conversation. Violet watched from the sidelines, curious about what was going on.

Then, Elita-1 walked over to Harvester. "I hate not telling Bulkhead. Are you sure we can't tell him? I think he would love to help.", Harvester asked.

"No, the less bots know about this. The better.", Elita-1 told her. Violet then cocked her head.

She didn't trust Elita-1 yet. In fact, since Lockdown had taken her, she had a hard time trusting anyone.

But, the team had indeed gain her trust. She watch the two leave and decided to follow.

If Elita-1 was up to something, Violet would make sure Harvester would be okay. They arrived on Dinobot Island.

Violet was still following unseen. They went into Elita-1's old lab and Violet saw was they were working on.

Jetstar was nearly healed. But, still lacked the strength to walk properly.

"Easy! Easy!", Harvester cautioned, while helping the mutated Cybertronian. "I know some strength-building exercises that could help her.", a voice called out from the darkness, startling both Harvester and Elita-1.

Violet then walked out into the light. "So this is what you two have been up to.", Violet said.

She walked over to Jetstar and gently set her legs the proper way. "That should help hold up her body better while it also builds her strength.", Violet continued.

"You won't tell, will you?", Harvester asked. Violet then looked cautiously at Elita-1.

"Why are you both keeping this a secret?", Violet asked. Harvester looked at Elita-1 to answer that question.

"Because... I want to make things right. And right now, the Autobots don't believe I can do that.", Elita-1 replied. "So, you are forcing Jetstar to be your tool? Doesn't that seem unfair to you?", Violet asked, while crossing her arms.

"Flystar let Elita-1 help.", Flystar stated. She then paused, as she sat down.

"Flystar believes in second chances.", Flystar continued. Violet looked at Flystar and then at Elita-1.

"Who can argue with that?", Violet said. Elita-1 then looked grateful.

"But...", Violet said, while raising her hand. "As soon as she can walk, we tell the others.", Violet continued.

"Well...", Harvester said. This time Harvester spoke up.

"We were planning on only telling Serenity. So she could cure the mutation. And then we were going to take her home. Can you imagine the face Bumblebee is going to make?", Harvester continued. Violet then smiled at the young bot.

"Okay, I agree with that.", Violet said. So, with Violet's help, they were able to keep their cover-up better.

No one knew what the three fem bots were planning. Not even their boyfriends.

But then, the day came. "Serenity...", Elita-1 said.

The three approached the princess. "Can we talk?", Elita-1 asked.

Serenity looked at them, skeptically. "What are you planning? Is this some kind of prank?", Serenity asked.

They all shook their heads. "No! No!", Elita-1 said, while walking up to Serenity.

"We need to show you something.", Elita-1 continued. So, once all the mechs were asleep, they all went to Dinobot Island.

They started walking towards the lab. Serenity was starting to get a little nervous.

"Okay, what is this all about?", Serenity asked. "We need to go inside to show you.", Harvester said, while grabbing Serenity's hand.

Serenity went in and almost collapsed at what she saw. "Jetstar?!", Serenity exclaimed.

"Hi, Seri.", Jetstar said, walking over with two walking sticks attached to her hands. She had gotten stronger, but was not yet ready to stand on her own.

Serenity didn't waste a second in grabbing the jet and hugging her. Immediately starting to remove the mutation without even realizing it.

"You're alive! I can't believe your alive!", Serenity said, as she pulled back and looking at the now, full Cybertronian. "Elita-1 found me and fixed me.", Jetstar said.

Serenity then looked at Elita-1. "Thank you.", Serenity said.

She then gave her a hug. "It was the least I can do.", Elita-1 told her.

"So...", Jetstar said, while dragging out the word. "Are we going to go see Bumblebee or not? It's been killing me!", Jetstar shouted out.

All of them laughed, as they started heading for the mainland. "Optimus...", Serenity called through the com link.

"Serenity, where are you... And the other fem bots for the matter?", Optimus asked. "I'll show you! Meet us on the docs.", Serenity said.

Serenity then walked over to Elita-1, who was at the front of the boat. "Why did you keep this a secret from me for so long?", Serenity asked.

Elita-1 then looked down. "I... I hurt you a lot, Serenity. And I wanted to make things right. But, I had to do it... And if things didn't work out, I didn't want to let you down again.", Elita-1 replied.

Serenity grabbed her best friend's hand. "Elita-1, I hurt you, too. And I'm sorry for that. But, I'm happy we have a second chance.", Serenity said.

Once they reached the shore, all the fem bots got in front of Jetstar, hiding her from view. Once the mechs saw their fem bots, they went over to see them.

Except a small yellow one held back. There was no one for him to see.

No one to embarrass in a hug. No one to grow old with or share memories with.

"Okay, what is the big secret?", Optimus asked. "Elita-1, I think you should do the honors." Serenity said, while letting her friend have the front.

"I would like to reintroduce you to... Jetstar.", Elita-1 said. All the girls
