It's a quiet night now in the city of Detroit. A crescent moon hangs in the dark sky, shining its light down onto a group of night security loading up an armored car for a bank transfer.
Atop a nearby building on the truck's route, a Robin Hood-esque man, armed with a bow and quiver of arrows, watches as the truck speeds by. Though his lips upturning in a confident smirk doesn't portray what he's about to do is anything like his fictional portrayal's likeness.
The armored car stops at a red light, allowing this medieval supervillain to propel down with a grappling arrow. "Tally-ho!", the villain exclaimed, with dark excitement, as he lands on the car's roof with the guards inside none the wiser.
Though they're in for a surprise when a hole is cut into the roof with another one of the villains trick arrows. "Stand and deliver, old sport.", the medieval villain said.
The archering robber smirks before firing arrows armed with metal fists at the front ends, slamming the two guards into the walls, knocking them out. Angry Archer then ropes the sacks of money, tying them to his waist.
"For sooth, the Angry Archer is victorious!", Angry Archer declared. His victory, however, is cut off by the loud sirens going off behind.
Turning around, he finds himself the sole attention of a squadron of DPD police cars. Angry Archer's eyes widen in fear at being cornered.
But an escape route has appeared out of nowhere. A fire truck with it's lights and siren flashing is traveling opposite to the police chase.
Angry Archer launches another grappling arrow to attach to the fire truck. Using a hidden set of stabilizer wings in his quiver, he glides gracefully onto the truck's roof.
If the villainous robber had been paying closer attention, he'd have saw the icy blue motorcycle with a rider covered head to toe in a riding suit and helmet of the same color with bits of white, gold, dark blue and red mixed in. "HAHAHA!!! Victory is mine! Yon police would ne'er stop a firetruck from speeding to an emergency!", Angry Archer said.
"Only one problem with that theory.", a voice remarks out of thin air, forcing the Robin Hood-esque robber to look around for the voice. The firetruck stops on a dime, sending Angry Archer flying and skidding across the pavement.
"You're the emergency.", a female voice flitters, as the motorcycle screeches to a stop to flank by the firetruck's side, the rider fizzing out and vanishing into nothing. The two vehicles then begin to transform before the robber's eyes, revealing themselves to be Optimus Prime and the crown princess of Cybertron, Serenity.
In the midst of his shock, the archer doesn't notice himself become grasped into the princess' servo. "Now I do believe those sacks of currency don't belong to you. Would you be so kind as to return them?", Serenity kindly asked.
Coming to his senses, he begins to struggle in the metal hand. "Apologies, M'Lady, but I'm afraid your good manners must go unanswered this night.", Angry Archer told her.
Getting his arm free, he notches another arrow and lets it fly to wrap around a nearby light pole. "Tallyho and fare thee well!", Angry Archer announced.
He's then ripped from Serenity's grasp. But his escape is cut in two as Optimus throws his axe and slices the grappling rope.
The cut off of momentum causes Angry Archer to skid across the pavement for the second time that night. Growling in frustration, he's none too pleased about being made a fool of.
Notching another arrow, he let's fly towards the Autobots. Optimus quickly brings Serenity close to his chassis, pulling her out of the weapons path.
The arrow misses both of them and explodes on contact with a parked car behind them. Serenity summons her "Wand of Primus" and deals with the flaming vehicle.
"Optimus, the Archer! I'll handle this.", Serenity said. Optimus whips around to see Angry Archer trying to make a run for it.
But he doesn't get far, when Optimus fires a pair of bolas to stop his escape. The squadron of police cars are coming up quick from behind as the tied up Archer is now within Optimus' grasp.
"Oh, vexing fate, thou art a harsh mistress! I was to be rich! I was to be famous!", Angry Archer said. "I don't know about the rich part...", Serenity giggles, holding up the sacks of money.
"Well, it looks like he'll just have to settle for famous, your Majesty.", Optimus said. He then looks upward to see the new-drones taking pictures.
"Though not for very good reasons.", Optimus continued. The following morning, Serenity was asked by Prowl to join him in exploring more of Earth's nature.
And here the two of them are, in a tree, hidden from the human eyes that are wandering the park. Prowl hangs upside-down by his pedes, while Serenity sits comfortably on the branch below.
The both of them watch as a small, yellow animal called a bird tweets happily, unaware that it's being stalked by a black and white furred stray feline. The four-legged creature lies in silent wait before striking, pinning it by its tail of feathers and causing it to let out frightened squawks.
"Fascinating.", Prowl noted. The nature-watching is cut off as flashes from below scare the predator and prey in action, surprisingly into the Cybertronian princess' metal embrace.
"Hey, everybody! Over here! It's one of the Autobots and their princess!", a person shouted out. Another passing human points out the Autobots hidden in the tree above.
"You know, I think this is what humans refer to as 'easy come, easy go'.", Serenity said. Prowl doesn't answer, sweeping the princess into a bridal carry and whisks them away from human eyes.
"Hey, where'd they go?", a person asked. Meanwhile, at the Autobots' new warehouse base, the remaining bots finish setting up their new digs.
Bumblebee, Ratchet and Optimus are busy at work setting up their new flatscreen, courtesy of Prof. Sumdac. "Our new home is coming together nicely.", Optimus said.
"If I had my way, we'd never leave. It's not safe out there. They're always watching, waiting.", Ratchet grumbled. "The Decepticons?", Optimus asked.
"No those annoying camera-bots!", Ratchet said, annoyed. Bumblebee, on the other hand, looks at the older medbot incredulously.
"What!? No way! Being a star rocks! If the titanium alloy plates fit, wear it. And I make it look good.", Bumblebee said. "You guys got it easy.", Bulkhead added.
"All people want me to do is break stuff. I gotta sensitive side to ya know! Though breaking stuff is kinda fun.", Bulkhead continued. "Either way, there is a lot to learn about this little planet. So we'll just have to roll with it.", Optimus said.
Prowl suddenly drops in with the Serenity still in his arms and the little yellow bird and white-black cat in hers. The ninjabot reluctantly sets the royal down on her pedes, before stepping heavily towards his room, grumbling aggravated.
"I guess Prowl didn't get the memo about 'rolling with it'.", Bumblebee commented. "It's not his fault, Bumblebee. He's a ninjabot. He's used to working alone and out of sight. This sudden attention is not something he's used to.", Serenity said, setting the two creatures down, waving them off as they flew and stalked off, respectively.
"I'll talk to him, Princess.", Optimus said, patting her shoulder pad. "Alright, good luck. I'll think you'll need it.", Serenity said.
Prowl stands in the middle of his chosen room. A large tree grows from the ground, against the building's concrete flooring.
The roof missing chunks from the tree's rising, listing fresh air and sunlight flow in. "Prowl, got a sec?", Optimus asked upon entering the room.
Silence is all he is met with. "Uh, everything ok? I-I mean do you wanna talk about it or-", Optimus asked, getting nervous.
"No.", Prowl bluntly answered. The ninjabot's blunt response stunned the young Prime.
"You know this is a wonderful room but, are you sure you don't wanna stay in another room? Ya know? Like one with a roof?", Optimus asked him. "I like this room.", Prowls responded, not turning to face Optimus.
"All this organic life, this 'nature', it refuses to be contained. Such a force of will, but everyone here is blind to it. They all rush to see everything but never sit still long enough to experience what is around them. Like this morning, I've observed one organic creature stalk another with such grace. Such stillness.", Prowl explained. He moves his servo to reach out to a bird that had maxed its home on a branch of the tree.
All was peaceful in that moment. At least until Bumblebee popped up in front of him, scaring off the bird and angering Prowl.
"Does anyone else smell fried circuitry around here?", Bumblebee joked. "Get it, 'fried circuitry'? Haha! As in yours!", Bumblebee continued.
The youngest bot begins knocking on Prowl's helm. "Uh, hello? Any-bot home?", Bumblebee asked.
Prowl jumped up into the tree to get away from the annoying young bot. Bumblebee looked, confused.
"What? What'd I say?", Bumblebee asked. Over at Sumdac Systems, Sari goes to see her father, who has been stuck in his lab for a while.
"Uh dad, are you in there?", Sari calls into the locked room and gets no answer. She attempts to unlock the door through the keypad.
"ACCESS DENIED.", the computer informed her. A security feed of inside shows her father slumped over asleep on his work desk.
Out of the camera's frame, a red glow catches the girl's eye. "What is that?", Sari asked.
As she leans in close to the screen for a better look, her key suddenly finds its way into the lock, surprising the young girl. A sly look then marks her face.
She places her key back in the lock, the voice fizzing in and out, trying to fight the key's power but ultimately succumbs to it. "ACCESS GRANTED.", the computer informed her.
As the door opens, she barely crosses the doorway before she nearly ran into her father, who had awoken while the young girl was getting the door open. "Now, now, Sari, you know that no one including you is not allowed in my private lab. Rules are rules.", Professor Sumdac told her.
The professor yawns, eyes still droopy from sleep. "Good morning to you too, Dad. I brought you a cup of tea.", Sari smiles, not losing her stride, despite being caught by her father.
"O-Oh, thank you but I'm not thirsty.", Professor Sumdac said. He then, however, snatches the mug of tea off the small plate and downs it in one go.
Sari frowns, giving her father a once over. "When was the last time you ate?", Sari asked him.
"What is today?", Professor Sumdac asked, placing the mug back on the plate. Sari then giggles.
"Let's get you some breakfast.", Sari said. "Oh, but Sari, I am not hungry.", Professor Sumdac protested.
His argument loses all weight as his stomach begins to grumble quite loudly. "Well, perhaps just an apple...And a banana. With waffles and bacon. And a cheese omelet.", Professor Sumdac said.
Little did the do know was that Sari's use of the key on her father's lab door results in some of the key's energy being dispersed into the dark room before linking with a certain disembodied Decepticon warlord's head, bringing it back online. "Autobot...mega...mega...mega...mega...me-e-e-ega...I...am...Megatron...mega...mega...mega...mega...", Megatron groaned.
Megatron's recently revived helm looks around the good professor's lab. "What...where am I?", Megatron asked.
He spots his severed servo lying on the floor of the lab, coming to the realization that he's conscious without mobility. "Where is my body!? How long have I been offline?", Megatron asked, getting more angry and confused.
"What kind of antiquated system am I hooked into?!", Megatron continued. Camera footage from the Autobots battle with Starscream plays on the screen.
"I DEFEATED MEGATRON!", Starscream announced. "What? Why?!", Serenity asked, shocked.
"I planted the device that overloaded his circuitry! His fate was sealed before he even reached your ship! I did it so that I may become leader and lead the Decepticons to glory! That, and have you to myself, dear princess!~", Starscream explained. "STARSCREAAM?!?", the Cybertronian warlord yelled furiously, his rage coming out in sparks, overloading the room's lights.
"They don't even know I'm alive.", Megatron said. Another camera shot shows the AllSpark and a closeup of Princess Serenity.
"This cannot be happening...the AllSpark and my dear princess are finally within my reach...and I have no hands to grasp them!", Megatron said. Electricity traveled along one of the lab's robotic grapples before its pincher end clenched like a fist.
"Hmm...perhaps I'm not as immobile as I thought.", Megatron said. The mechanical grappler grabbed an unfinished robot on Professor Sumdac's work table.
"There may be more than one way to locate my dear Serenity and the AllSpark...and destroy all who dare oppose me!", Megatron continued. The minibot's optic began to glow red.
Meanwhile, Sari is busy being bored to death via Algebra lessons by her Tutor-Bot. "The quadratic formula can best be expressed by ' x=−b±√b2−4ac over 2a'.", Tutor-Bot explained.
Not being able to hold her attention on the lesson, she took her key and combined it with her cellphone and used it to call Bumblebee. "Bumblebee, it's me, Sari.", Sari said.
"Sari? How did you get my com-link frequency?", the yellow bot's voice answered. "I used my key, this thing rocks!", Sari told him.
She then turned, only to face Tutor-Bot with its servos on its hip like an unhappy teacher who has caught their student misbehaving in class. "Uh-oh, I gotta go see you tonight!", Sari said.
Embarrassed, she hangs up. "Sari, please hand me the phone.", Tutor-Bot demanded.
She moved to hand the teaching automaton her mobile, but wound up having a better idea. She inserted her key into the Tutor-Bot's power core.
The teacher robot then began going into a system failure, moving about wildly and crashing into its surroundings. Back in the professor's lab, after being fed a forceful breakfast by his daughter, he came across the up and running pocket-bot skittering across his work table.
"For weeks, I could not get these pocket-bots to work. And now...", Professor Sumdac said. He lifted the miniature bot to eye-level, humming curiously.
"I must have fixed it in my sleep. Or...", Professor Sumdac wondered. He calls up a screen to Sari's tutoring session.
Sari popped up on the screen, looking rather nervous. "Um, hi, dad.", Sari nervously said.
"Sari, have you...tinkered with anything in my lab, by any chance?", Professor Sumdac asked. "I never tinker with your stuff.", Sari answered.
Tutor-Bot continued to fritz in the background, forcing Sari to closen herself to the camera so that her father wouldn't see her little fib. "Besides, we've been too busy helping the Autobots settle in their secret lair.", Sari said.
What the father and daughter didn't realize was that Megatron was listening in on their conversation. "Really? And where is this 'secret lair'?", Professor Sumdac asked her.
"If I told you that, then it wouldn't be a secret would it?", Sari said, smiling slyly. A loud crash from the fritzing robot in the background interrupted the two.
Sari look offscreen in a panic before looking back at the camera screen. "Well we gotta go! We love you, bye.", Sari hurried.
The elder Sumdac went right back to work on the pocket-bots, strangely finding one of the batch missing. He began to rummage around the trash can for any sign of it.
"I could've sworn that there was one more of these pocket bots.", Professor Sumdac said. He then looked around the lab.
"Now, where could it have gone to?", Professor Sumdac continued. The pocket-bot in question just so happened to be the one Megatron brought to life to use for his surveillance needs.
The little bot crawls into an air duct, finding Sari as she readied to leave for the Autobots' hideout. It crawled into her bag, letting her lead it right to Megatron's prizes.
As the girl arrived at the hideout, she's first greeted by Serenity and carried in on her shoulder pad. She then finds the bots on the couch watching a nature documentary on the life cycle of a butterfly.
Prowl being the one most intrigued by the show, while the others are left to wonder what exactly they're watching. "As the caterpillar hangs very still in the chrysalis, inside the cocoon a marvelous transformation occurs.", the narrator clarifies the process of life for the butterfly as video footage shows the creature in question ready to emerge from the chrysalis.
"Fascinating.", Prowl said, in awe. Just when the butterfly is about to emerge, the channel is changed to a station playing loud dance music and flashing a rainbow of colors on-screen.
"Mind if we watch something that won't bore us into stasis-lock? Don't be such a stiff Prowl, oh wait! I forgot you're all about stillness.", Bumblebee laughed. And being too busy laughing, he doesn't notice Prowl crouched like the cat he and Serenity watched that very morning.
The ninjabot pounced on top of Bee, knocking him over onto his backside with Prowl on top of him. Prowl then smirks back.
"You should try it sometime.", Prowl told him. He then jumps on the rusted crane hanging overhead, leaving the mechs shocked and the young femme bot in awed.
"Woah, looks like someone forgot to de-frag his hard drive.", Bulkhead said. Bumblebee soon sat up.
"Don't get your circuits in a bunch, Prowl. It's just a slammer party.", Bumbleebee said. "That's 'slumber party'.", Sari corrected, taking out a sleeping bag from her backpack.
"Also known as the sleepover.", Sari continued. The pocket-bot hidden within transmitting video straight to Megatron.
"What is this 'slumber party'?", Ratchet asked. "A slumber party is when a bunch of friends hang out together all night.", Sari explained.
"So, where do we 'hang' this 'out'?", Optimus asks, holding up Sari's sleeping bag. "You don't hang it out, you sleep in it. But most of the time we don't sleep when we do a sleepover.", Sari told him.
Bulkhead scratched his helm. "This Earth stuff is hard.", Bulkhead said.
While they were talking, the pocket-bot skittered out of Sari's backpack. "You Autobot fools are the keepers of the Allspark and protectors of Princess Serenity? This must be some cosmic joke.", Megatron huffed.
"Search mode.", the pocket-bot said. The pocket-bot continued its watch of the Autobots and Princess Serenity.
Prowl still stood on the crane, meditating. Though a force strong enough to shake the whole building caused him to suddenly lose his balance and fall from the crane.
After crashing onto the ground, he rubbed at his aching helm. Looking around, he found the reason for his sudden fall.
Bulkhead had his bed in Sari's sleeping bag, attempting to fit in it. "Bulk, that's my sleeping bag, this one's yours.", Sari said.
She then pulls the string and a giant tarp big enough for him pops out and lands over Prowl's form. The ninjabot growls, annoyed.
After having the pocket-bot's camera train on the princess for a bit longer than intended, Megatron's pocket-bot continues in search and surveillance. "The Allspark must be there somewhere..", Megatron said.
"Ok, left hand on purple.", Sari called the next move of the electronic Twister game she started with Bulkhead and Bee. The two moved their
