At a mine outside the city, a bunch mining drones were hard at work, while a man over saw the operation, drinking something warm. Hearing a branch break, he called out, "Somebody there?"

But, the only response he got was growling and tentacles grabbing the mining drones. At the edge a Detroit, a policeman on a black and gold motorcycle, and a silver and blue motorcycle with a beautiful female on it watched the city.

But, their enjoyment was cut short as a snow plow went by and covered them both. Both the holoforms soon disappeared.

Prowl and Serenity then transformed and stood up out of the snow. Prowl started growling, while Serenity place a hand on his shoulder.

"Let's head to base.", Serenity said. Back at the base.

"It's as though the humans are forever at war with nature. Beauty literally falls from the sky and they immediately rush to spoil it with their machines. They won't rest until all of nature's beauty is-", Prowl explained. He then stopped upon realizing Serenity was the only one listening.

"Have you two even heard a word I said?", Prowl asked, turning to Bumblebee and Sari, who were playing a video game. "Take it easy, Prowl, and those humans were just trying to make it easier to drive. If a human crashed... Well, they aren't as well built as us Autobots are.", Serenity said.

But, that didn't stop Prowl from trying to get their attention, as he grabbed Bumblebee's headpiece. "Bumblebee, is your commitment to all these electronic devices really necessary?", Prowl asked him.

"Hate to break it to you, Prowl. But, you are one of these electronic devices.", Bumblebee stated, as he hit Prowl's hologram projector. Prowl then turned it off and turned off their video game with it, making Sari jump up in frustration.

"What you do that for?!", Sari shouted out, annoyed. "I was on level 230!", Bumblebee complained.

"Autobots, listen up. Telitrain 1 is picking up a strange Cybertronian energy signature. Coming from the wood just outside the city.", Optimus stated, as looking at the monitor.

"Decepticons?", Prowl asked. "No, it's a none esseniant being. Most likely a piece of our ship. But, I need someone to track it down and bring it back to the base, before it falls into the wrong hands. So...", Optimus trailed off.

Sari started to squeal with joy. "CAMPING TRIP! I mean, as your resident Earth expert, I should go along to supervise and help explain the complexity of nature.", Sari said.

"Well, I don't suppose that there's any harm in you going, Sari.", Optimus said, as Sari stated dancing. "We are going camping. We are going camping.", Sari sang.

"Well, someone is excited.", Serenity laughed, watching the young girl. "Camping?! As in leaving the comfort of civilization?! As in no TV, no music, no games?! As in my circuit are going to fry from boredom?!", Bumblebee yelled out, getting right in Optimus and Serenity's faces.

Serenity then placed her hand on Bumblebee's pushing it slightly away. "Little bit more space, Bee.", Serenity said.

"Don't worry, Bumblebee, camping is fun. I'll show you guys the ropes.", Sari encouraged. "Actually, you both could stand to unplug yourselves for a day or two. Think of it as a character builder.", Optimus said.

"And besides, I'll be there to protect you from boredom, Bumblebee.", Serenity encouraged. "You're going, too?", Prowl asked.

Optimus was a little sadden at this. He had hoped Serenity would stay with them to where they could talk.

Optimus had to let her know of his true feelings, even if that meant she rejected him. "Yeah, I thought it could be a good time to train on controlling my other self.", Serenity replied.

"We still need to see what's causing that. Maybe you should stay, so Ratchet can run doggonits.", Optimus offered, but he just really wanted her to stay with him. "Ratchet's already done over twenty. I need to get away from the city, anyway.", Serenity told him.

"Yes! This is going to be so much fun!", Sari exclaimed and they fist bumped. Optimus then walked over to Prowl.

"May I have a word with you, Prowl?", Optimus asked, as they both walked over to Prowl's room. "Listen, you and Serenity have gotten very close and I just wanted to wish the best for the future.", Optimus said.

"What?", Prowl questioned. "You and Serenity. Aren't you two, uh, in love?", Optimus asked him.

Prowl then started laughing. "It is true that I do love Serenity. But, not in the same way you do.", Prowl replied.

Optimus soon felt himself blush. "What do you mean, 'Not in the same way you do?'", Optimus asked, confused.

"I love her as a sister. We trained together under Master Yokatron for years. Even then, I felt I could only love her as a sister.", Prowl told him. Optimus could almost feel the heavy weight on his spark lift at those words.

But, it returned when he reminded himself of who he really was. An Elite Guard drop out.

"Well, thank you for clearing that up for me.", Optimus said, as he turned to leave. "Prime.", Prowl called out.

Optimus then turned to face his friend. "I think she feels the same way about as you feel about her.", Prowl said.

Optimus then turned quickly to leave, not wanting to embarrass himself any further. Soon, Bumblebee, Prowl, Sari, and Serenity all headed to the camping spot.

"You sure you know how to use all this stuff?", Bumblebee asked Sari. "What's to know? You roast marshmallows, tell ghost stories, sing campfire songs.", Sari replied.

"There's more to nature than these odd human customs and mellow mashes.", Prowl stated, as Serenity drove closer. "I believe it's marshmallows. And I find them quite fascinating! The customs that is, you can never learn too much. Plus, it's fun.", Serenity said, as she sped ahead.

Prowl then transformed. "We'll proceed on foot from here.", Prowl said.

As Bumblebee went to open his door, they exploded with Sari and the stuff falling out. Then, Bumblebee transformed.

"At least I got this junk out of me. I was feeling a bit bloated.", Bumblebee said. Then, a bunch of electronic items fell out of Bumblebee, as Prowl glared at him.

"What? You said to pack the bare essentials.", Bumblebee continued. "Since when are surround sound speakers, strobe lights, and a hand held media player the bare essentials?", Prowl asked him.

"You should have seen what I left back at the plant.", Bumblebee told him. "Where did you even find room for all this junk?", Prowl asked, while walking away.

Bumblebee then started to look nervous. "I'd rather not say.", Bumblebee replied, nervously.

Serenity then transformed. "Hey it's cool, Bumblebee. But, just going to tell you now, all that stuff is worthless out here. Race up you up top, Prowl?", Serenity said.

"That is one race I don't mind losing.", Prowl answered. "Suit yourself.", Serenity said.

She then ran up to Prowl. "Hey, Prowl, you got to give Bumblebee a little slack. I remember a certain bot that had a hard time understanding to respect life.", Serenity said, giving a playful smirk at Prowl.

That night, everyone set up the campsite. Or at least tried.

"OW! Nuts and bolts to this.", Bumblebee said, angled up in the tent. Later on, Bumblebee was walking around with a TV, while Prowl and Serenity watched the moon.

"So, where do they hide the outlets?", Bumblebee asked Prowl. "For the hundredth time, there is no electricity in the woods. Fire is what provides warmth and light.", Prowl told him.

"It's also nature's way of cleansing.", Serenity added. "Chainsaws and pavement are much more effective. Now, let me borrow your battery for a few hours.", Bumblebee said.

Serenity held in a giggle, watching Prowl trying to hold in his anger. Meanwhile, Sari was trying to start a fire with some rocks.

But, she only succeeded in hitting her thumb. "I could use some of that cleansing fire right now! These marshmallows aren't going to roast themselves.", Sari complained, as she tried rubbing wood to make fire.

"Sari, have you actually ever been camping?", Bumblebee asked her. "Well, of course... I've seen it in a movie, maybe.", Sari replied.

"Uh huh. Need a hand?", Bumblebee asked, bringing out his stinger. Prowl then stopped him and used the same stick method, only more effective, as he started the fire.

Serenity, meanwhile, had set up the tent successfully. "See, I don't need to learn any of this survival stuff. I've got you guys to back me up.", Bumblebee said.

"You must learn how to survive without the aid of machines. You never know when you won't have them.", Prowl instructed. Sari, however, just merely scoffed.

"So, you want to hear a ghost story?", Sari asked them. Bumblebee then ran up.

"Hear a ghost story? I just found batteries for my media player, which one you want to watch?", Bumblebee asked. "Where did you even get those?", Serenity asked him.

"You don't even have a screen to project it on.", Prowl states. "Way ahead of you, Nature boy.", Bumblebee said, as he plugged it into Prowl's holoprojector.

"Uh, Bumblebee? I don't think that's a good idea.", Serenity warned. But, Bumblebee was already watching the movie, screaming as a bear came onto the movie.

But, before anything could happen, Prowl grabbed Bee's media player, crushing it. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!", Bumblebee screamed, echoing through the woods.

After they had finally calmed Bumblebee down from his spasm, the group went to rest for the night. Sari was seen resting inside Bumblebee, while Bumblebee slept under the tent.

"You sure you don't want the tent, Princess?", Bumblebee asked. "No thank you, I want to watch the stars.", Serenity said, as she move a log to serve as a pillow.

Prowl then went and laid across from Serenity. After Prowl was sure Bumblebee and Sari were asleep, he turned to Serenity.

"Serenity, are you awake?", Prowl asked. "Barley.", Serenity replied.

"I need to ask you something.", Prowl said. "What is it?", Serenity asked, sleepily.

"How do you feel about Prime?", Prowl asked her. Serenity then bolted up at that question.

"What makes you ask that?", Serenity asked. "I talked with him before we left, and he thought you and me were... a couple.", Prowl answered.

Serenity soon felt herself blush. "Prowl, I, I...", Serenity said, stuttering.

"You don't need to explain anything, Serenity. I know you have feelings for our leader.", Prowl said. Serenity blushed even more at that, but also had a feeling of relief.

"You don't mind?", Serenity asked him. "No, Serenity. You've been like a sister to me when we trained under Master Yokatron, and Prime is a good bot.", Prowl told her.

Serenity smiled and looked up at the stars. "What did he say when you set him straight?", Serenity asked.

Before Prowl could answer, however, they heard a growl. Sari immediately sat up.

"What was that?", Sari asked. Bumblebee beeped and transformed, causing the tent to fall on top of head and sending Sari flying.

"Monster!", Bumblebee shouted out. "Ow! Relax, Bumblebee.", Sari said, as she tried to comfort him.

Bumblebee then threw the tent off himself. "What? I've seen enough creature features to know that every poor sap who gets suckered into some lame camping trip winds up getting chased down by a monster!", Bumblebee said.

Prowl then transformed and shown his lights on the woods, showing a shadow moving past. "Uh, that's a bear. Right?", Serenity asked, a little bit concerned.

"They're called bears and they're hardly monster-", Prowl replied. He didn't get to finish, however, as the shadow stepped forward reveling a creature with sharp tools sticking out of it hands and what looked like pink barnacles covering it's body.

"That's not a bear.", Serenity said, quickly getting up. "You know, Prowl. I didn't know bears had shovels for hands. I guess I did learn something about camping.", Bumblebee said.

Prowl then shushed him. "First, we must determine this creatures intentions.", Prowl told them.

But, before Prowl could, the creature smashed him into a tree. "Prowl!", Serenity called out, as she and Sari rushed to him.

"I'm going to go with hostile.", Bumblebee said. The creature then turned to see them.

"Sari! Serenity! Look out!", Bumblebee called out. But, before the creature could stab them, Bumblebee shot him with his stingers, making the creature fall over.

"Hey! Why don't you pick on someone your own size!", Bumblebee yelled out. The creature got up and once again tried to stab them.

But, they all moved out of the way. Bumblebee then grab Sari and Serenity went with Prowl.

"Okay, maybe we're a little unclear on the concept of your own size.", Bumblebee said. "Maybe you should stop talking logic to creature that has no head!", Sari yelled out at Bumblebee.

Prowl then tried throwing his ninja stars at the creature, only for him to swallow them into it's body. "The creature appears to be metal wrapped in living organisms.", Prowl observed.

"I think it might be from Cybertron.", Sari stated. "What makes you think that?", Prowl asked, as he saw her key glowing.

"Call it a hunch.", Sari replied. "So much for that piece of our spaceship theory. How do we stop it?", Bumblebee asked.

"Just like any other opponent. Search for it's weakness.", Prowl called out, as he went to attack. "And don't let it touch you! It may caused more damage than it actually eating you.", Serenity added, as she jumped into action.

"Thanks for the comforting words, Seri.", Bumblebee called out. As Serenity dodged the creature, it was becoming quite difficult to avoid it's attacks.

Fighting something you can't even touch or throw weapons at. As Prowl fell, Serenity kept it busy so it wouldn't hurt any of them.

"Still searching I take it?", Bumblebee asked, holding Sari from behind a tree. "We just need to formulate a plan.", Prowl said.

"How is this for a plan? RUN!", Bumblebee said. He then took off, with Serenity and Prowl following behind doing ninja moves on the tree branches.

Once there were far enough away, Prowl jumped down from the branch, while Serenity stayed up in the tree. "I think we lost it.", Serenity said.

Bumblebee then knocked off the snow that was on him and directed his attention to Sari. "What did I tell you about camping? Monsters! TV is always right.", Bumblebee said.

He then puts Sari down, as she brushed herself off. "So, wait. Monsters are real? Twitter bot is such a lyre.", Sari said.

"It's not a monster. You said it yourself, it's Cybertronian.", Prowl stated. "You got anything that ugly on Cybertron?", Sari asked.

"Yeah, but Bulkhead's back at the plant.", Bumblebee stated. Serenity then threw a snowball at him from up in the tree.

"Be nice, Bumblebee.", Serenity scolded him. "Let's focus, please, and stick to the facts. We know it's made of non-sentient metal covered with living organisms and gives off a Cybertronian energy signal.", Prowl stated, before all Cyberrtonians raised their heads in realization.

"Space barnacles.", they all said, at the same time. "Barnacles? You mean those gross things that attach to boats?", Sari asked them.

Prowl then nodded. "Only when space barnacles attach, they drain it's energy like a computer virus. The must have picked residual Cybertronian energy, before we crashed here on Earth.", Prowl explained.

"That would explain the signal Prime was picking up. So, why not just burn them off like the barnacles on out ship?", Bumblebee asked. "These seem more powerful. They weren't draining energy from those construction machines, they were controlling them. Something on Earth must have mutated them.", Serenity replied.

Bumblebee then smirked and turned to Prowl. "Probably all this fresh air. Give them the bright lights. Big city.", Bumblebee commented.

"And they could end up taking over every machine in Detroit. Or have you forgotten how quickly space barnacles can multiply?", Prowl told him. "So, we have to go back and find that thing.", Serenity said.

"Ah, great. Just when we got done running away from it.", Sari complained. So, they all walked through the woods.

Sari's key was leading the way for them to where a mine was. "What is this place?", Bumblebee asked, as they got closer.

"I think it's one of my dad's mining sites. He's always got people digging here. Who knows what he's looking for.", Sari answered. "I'm not sure, if I like the sound of that.", Serenity said, getting into a fighting position, as Sari's key started blinking.

"My key is picking up a signal.", Sari said. "Must be residual energy. The creature has truly been here.", Prowl stated.

"Think it went inside for dessert?", Sari asked. "Just be careful. And whatever you do, don't let the barnacles touch you or you'll be dessert, too.", Prowl commanded, while poking Bumblebee.

Bumblebee then puts Sari down. "Stay back!", Prowl commanded, as he took a pole and started spinning it.

Bumblebee then got his stingers ready and Sari made a snowball. As they got ready to fight, Bumblebee yelled out, "Attention, barnacle monster! Come out with your hands over your... Well, you don't have a head. But, you get the idea."

Serenity then face-palmed, Sari blushed, and Prowl got annoyed. "Do you mind?", Prowl asked, annoyed.

"What? Just trying to break the tension.", Bumblebee said. Then, some snow hit Prowl.

"Do you mind?!", Prowl yelled out, while staring at Sari. "That wasn't me.", Sari told him.

Then, some snow started falling all-around them. "Uh, guys?", Serenity said.

She then pointed to above them, where the creature was pushing the snow to fall on top of them. "Take cover!", Bumblebee yelled out, grabbing Sari and running into the mine, as the snow covered the entrance.

"We're trapped.", Sari said, as Bumblebee transformed and turned on his lights. "We need to find another way out.", Serenity said.

Bumblebee then opened his door. "Looks like all those hours of playing Medieval Maze Monsters is about to pay off.", Bumblebee commented.

He then started driving, talking about how which way should take them to the exit, but only managed to get them back where they started. Meanwhile, Prowl and Serenity were fighting the creature.

As the creature looked for Prowl, he used his holoform to make himself look like he was in front of the cave. So, when the monster charged at him, it slammed into the snow wall blocking the entrance.

Serenity then used her wand to blast him even more, knocking the snow wall down. When the creature looked at Prowl and Sari, Serenity quickly hit him again with her blast and started leading him to where Prowl was hiding upside down in a tree.

"Let's turn up the heat on these barnacles.", Prowl said. He then started shooting boosters, causing the flames to hit the barnacles, which burned them but it wasn't enough to stay down.

The creature then pinned Prowl against the tree, making him grunt in pain. "Prowl!", Serenity yelled out, kicking it's arm away from Prowl. Then, Bumblebee used his stingers on the creature.

"This sure beats roasting swamp mellows.", Bumblebee said. "That's marshmallows.", Sari corrected him.

The creature then fell off the cliff, it's barnacles burnt off. "One
