Serenity stood next to Optimus, and the other Autobots. The professor was doing another presentation, this time he was releasing a fire fighter drone, much like the police drone.

But, this one had automatic fire extinguisher on it and a water hose, it also had a arm to help carried victims to safety. But, as soon as the demonstration ended, Sari had come up to Serenity.

"Seri, I was thinking your stuck with the boys a lot. How about you and me go for a girls day?", Sari said. "A girl's day?", Serenity asked.

"Yeah! It's where girls hand out and do fun stuff together. And the main thing is, no guys aloud.", Sari replied. "I don't want to leave the others out.", Serenity said.

"Oh, come on! It will be fun.", Sari said. "Fine, I'll pick you at noon tomorrow.", Serenity told her.

"Awesome!", Sari cheered. Little did they know, Megatron was watching the scene unfold.

"So, the princess will be away from her protectors. The perfect time to see what the princess knows about her past and how close she will be to becoming a Decepticon, since I don't have the servos I need to grab her myself.", Megatron said. Meanwhile, Serenity and Sari were walking down the streets after running to the burger bot for Sari and Serenity getting a car wash.

"Oh, it feels so good to get off all the dirt and grime off.", Serenity said, as she stretched. "Yeah, I bet! But, now down to the real girl business.", Sari said.

"And what would that be?", Serenity asked her. "Which of the Autobots is going to become your boyfriend.", Sari replied.

"What?!", Serenity exclaimed. "You heard me. So, which one do you like?", Sari asked.

"Sari, I don't think this is a good thing to talk about-", Serenity said. "It's Optimus, huh?", Sari asked her.

Serenity then stopped in her tracks. "Is it that obvious?", Serenity asked, while blushing.

"To us girls it is. Admit it! You got a crush.", Sari replied. "Maybe. I just don't want to hurt the others feelings. We have all become like a family, even before they were assigned to guard me.", Serenity said.

"You knew them before they had to guard you?", Sari asked her. Cut to a flashback to a young Serenity (about the age of a 7 year old) walked the halls of the palace, trying to find her uncle.

When she turned into a corner, Serenity ran right into someone's leg and fell. "Watch where your going.", Ratchet said.

"Oh, I'm so sorry, Ratchet! I didn't see you.", Serenity apologized. "It's alright. You don't want to hurt yourself, Serenity.", Ratchet said, helping her up.

"Have you seen my uncle?", Serenity asked him. "He is in an important meeting right now.", Ratchet replied.

"Oh...", Serenity said, before looking down. "What's the matter?", Ratchet asked her.

"It's just that... he said he would show me Cybertron today. I haven't been out of the palace since I got out of stasis.", Serenity replied. "You know he had to put you into stasis during the war, because he didn't want you to become scared by it, and there was a high bounty on you.", Ratchet told her.

"Yes, I know that. I don't hold it against him, I just want to get out.", Serenity said. "Hmm... I'll tell you what, if you don't tell anyone I'll sneak you out for a cycle and we can go to Macadam's.", Ratchet said.

"Really?", Serenity asked. "Just keep your voice down, kid.", Ratchet said, with a small smile.

Just then a bunch of police cars went by, snapping Serenity from her thoughts. "Sari, head back to your home, please. I'll meet up with you later.", Serenity said, as she followed the cars to a old warehouse.

"Put down the stolen property and surrender!", Captain Fanzone yelled, as they surrounded the place. "Huh, I knew my prize couldn't resist coming to the aid of humans.", a male robotic voice said.

Then, a large Decepticon, about the height of Megatron, came out. He had two large horns on either side of his head and was purple.

His eyes then landed on Serenity. This bot, she knew him from somewhere...

Cut to another flashback, as smoke arose from all around, the fire was getting closer. Energon streamed down the small figures face as the young sparkling hid in the alley.

She saw a tall femme bot fighting someone, but she couldn't see who it was. The darkness seemed to close in, as the glowing blue liquid spilled from the femme bot.

The dark figure, who was tall, purple, and had two horns, wiped his sword and started to head down the alley toward the sparkling. "Do not worry, death is a part of war.", the robot said.

But, before the dark figure could grab the sparkling, a blast of lightning hit and caused him to land on all fours as the sparkling hid behind some containers. She heard crashing and banging, but then it all came to a stop.

Ultra Magnus leaned over the container. "Serenity...", Ultra Magnus called out.

The sparkling screamed and started backing away. She had never seen this bot before, what would he do to her?

Ultra Magnus reached out and wiped the Energon from the cut on her face. "It's okay! I'm your mother's brother, your uncle. I will take you some place safe...", Ultra Magnus said, calmly.

Back to the present, where Serenity was petrified and frozen in fear. "So, you do remember me. I'm surprise considering how young you were. I apologize for the death of your mother, it was... unfortunate. I was ordered to bring her alive, but as you know, death is a part of war.", the robot told her.

Serenity suddenly snapped at this. She lunged at him and laid a good punch on his face, knocking him back.

Serenity then went to do a roundhouse kick, but he grabbed her foot. "More feisty than last time I saw you.", the robot said.

He then grabbed her shoulders and slammed her into the ground. "And more attractive...~", the robot purred, as he caressed his fingers along her cheek.

"LET HER GO!!!", Optimus yelled out, enraged. They both turned to see Optimus standing there, the others behind him.

"Until next time, my sweet.", the robot said, as he pushed his lips against hers. Optimus then launched himself at him, punching him numerous times, until he punched him threw the wall where he transformed and flew away.

Optimus then rushed back to Serenity's side. "Serenity, are you okay?", Optimus asked.

"I'm fine. I had that handled.", Serenity replied, with a harsh tone. Optimus blinked, what was with Serenity that was making her so mad?

She then got up and headed out the door. "Seri, you sure your okay?", Bulkhead asked.

"Yes! Never better!", Serenity snapped at him. "Hey! What's up with you?", Bumblebee asked.

"Nothing. Let's hurry up and catch that con.", Serenity said, before transforming and driving off to the base. As soon as they arrived, Serenity walked over to the computer.

"Teletraan 1, run a scan for the Decepticon signatures.", Serenity commanded. "Scanning.", the computer stated.

"Serenity, what has gotten into you, kid?", Ratchet asked. "This doesn't concern you, Ratchet. In fact, in doesn't concern anyone else.", Serenity told him.

"Your starting to act like the ninja bot.", Bumblebee said, as Prowl wacked him. "Serenity, is this because he...", Prowl trained off.

"Because he kissed me.", Serenity said, as she touched her lips. "No, this is personal.", Prowl said.

"Do you know him?", Optimus asked, causing Serenity to stop typing. "He murdered my mother.", Serenity replied.

The Autobots all froze, in complete shock. "Cyclonus...", Ratchet mumbled.

Serenity then turned on him. "You knew the con who murdered my mother?!", Serenity exclaimed, angrily.

Ratchet stepped back, realizing the mistake that he made. Ultra Magnus had ordered that no tell her who did it, so that the princess wouldn't think of getting revenge on the murderer.

"Serenity, I-I...", Ratchet said, nervously. Serenity then started to walk towards him.

"Why didn't you tell me? Why didn't anyone tell me?! Do you know what it is like to not know who killed your family?", Serenity asked, clearly upset. Optimus then grabbed Serenity's arms and turned her towards him.

She started to cry into his chest, the others then began to leave. Optimus just let her get her emotions out.

"Seri, I'm sorry that you had to find out this way.", Optimus said. Serenity just kept on crying.

"You've had this on your mind for a while haven't you?", Optimus asked her. Serenity just nodded.

"You don't have to face this alone. You don't have to have this heavy weight alone.", Optimus said. "Yes, I do. As crown princess, I have to hide my struggles for the sake of our planet. I can't let my emotions get in the way of decision making, and I especially have to face this alone. He killed my mother. I can't, and I won't allow him to kill anymore of my family.", Serenity told him.

Optimus was about to respond, when the computer said, "Decepticon signature findings will be in one solar cycle." Serenity then pushed out of Optimus's arms and went to the computer.

"Serenity, can we go for a drive?", Optimus asked. Serenity didn't really want to be around anyone, but being around Optimus did sound nice.

They walked into the main room, everyone kept silent as they left. As they drove, Optimus wanted so badly to comfort Serenity.

To hold her and tell her how he felt about her, but how could he? He hadn't experience the same type of loss she had, how could he even begin to tell her that he will always be there for her, that he would protect her that he would lov-.

Optimus stopped at this thought, how could she love him? She was a princess and he was a Elite Guard drop out.

Sentinel was right. Scrap even he had better chance with her than Optimus did.

Maybe it is best if they just remained friends... Cut to a flashback where Optimus had just come out of the training simulation, a little shaken up.

Since in the train program, he had just gotten stabbed by Megatron. "Optimus, are you okay?", Elita 1 asked.

It was only their first week in the Elite Guard, and Optimus had just taken on Megatron. What else would this academy hold for them?

"Of course he's okay, Elita 1. It's just a simulation combat! And, as usual, you got your skid plate handed to you, buddy.", Sentinel teased. "I wouldn't be so quick to criticize, Cadet Sentinel! Cadet Optimus just scored higher than any Autobot in academy history on the combat simulator. I expect great things from you young bot.", Ultra Magnus praised.

"T-Thank you, Sir.", Optimus stammered. Then, Serenity (now a teenager) stared at the screen, watching Optimus reaction to Megatron trying to kill him.

"Not bad, Cadet. Not bad at all. I'm really impressed.", Serenity said, as she walked over to Optimus. "Princess Serenity!", all three of them said, at the same time.

She only giggled, in response. "Serenity, what do you think of our new cadets here?", Ultra Magnus asked.

"As Master Yokatron would say, 'they have skills and great potential'.", Serenity said. Ultra Magnus nodded and walked away, but princess Serenity stayed behind.

"If you guys want, I could show you around.", Serenity said, reaching our her hand to Optimus... Optimus was pulled out of his thoughts, when Serenity finally spoke.

"We should head back...", Serenity said, as she started to turn around. Optimus then transformed.

"Serenity!", Optimus called out. Serenity then transformed and walked up to him.

"Yes?", Optimus asked. "Um-", Optimus tried to said, but was then cut off, as Bumblebee came threw the comlink.

"Prime! Seri! The con made another break in. Sending you both coordinates.", Bumblebee said. "Let's go.", Serenity said, as she started to transform.

But then, Optimus got in front of the princess. "Serenity, I don't think it's a good idea that you go.", Optimus said.

"Why not?", Serenity asked, while transforming, her arms folded over her chest. "You are under my protection, and it's obvious that this con came for you. If anything happened to you...", Optimus trailed off.

Serenity then walked up and put her hand on his chest and came even closer and raised her face close to his. "Sorry Optimus.", Serenity said, before she used her wand to knock him out, just enough to so he'd be out for a while.

"I already lost you once, Optimus. I can't lose you again.", Serenity said, as she kissed him, then transformed and drove off. Megatron let out a furious growl at seeing what happened between the princess and Optimus.

"Ugh! The princess is mine! I will not let that Autobot take her! I'll kill him myself, if I have to!", Megatron angrily yelled out. "Boss bot! Wake up!", Bulkhead said.

Optimus opened his eyes to see Bumblebee and the rest of the Autobots standing before him. "What happened, Prime?", Ratchet asked, as he helped Optimus up.

"I-I...", Optimus stuttered, then suddenly bolted up. "Oh no! Serenity!", Optimus said.

He then transformed and headed for the coordinates. "I just hope I'm not to late.", Optimus continued.

"Prime, what going on? Where's Serenity?", Prowl asked. "She went after Cyclonus alone.", Optimus replied.

This make Prowl almost jerk to a stop. "We have to get there first.", Prowl said.

He then sped ahead, as Prowl thought about when he and Serenity had trained together... "Come on, Prowl! You're going way to easy on me.", Serenity said, as she blocked another punch from Prowl.

"I can't have Cybertron's princess looking like she just went threw a scraplet hive.", Prowl said, as he went to lung at her. But, she threw him over and landed him on his back.

"Yeah, but you can't let her make you look like you did.", Serenity laughed. "I'm glad to see my two best students showing great progress.", Yokatron said.

"Master Yokatron.", both bots said, as they bowed respectively. "I have a mission for both of you, it appears there have been some... disturbances in the Kaon.", Yokatron said.

"The old Decepticon's capital?", Serenity questioned. "Yes, I want you both to investigate it.", Yokatron continued.

"Master, I can go alone. I don't want the princess to get hurt.", Prowl said, as he started to walk out the door. But, Serenity quickly followed him.

"Prowl, there are some things you don't have to face alone.", Serenity told him. Just then, Prowl came back to the present.

"You don't have to face this alone Serenity.", Prowl said to himself. Serenity arrived at the coordinates that Bumblebee provided, a cave at the bottom of a cliff.

As Serenity made her way down, she thought about the cave her and Bumblebee use to hide in to get away from every one. "So, how's Bulky doing?", Serenity asked, as she and Bumblebee went down further into the cave.

"He's happy that he got the job. A space bridge fixer upper.", Bumblebee said, in a down-hearted voice. "And how do you feel about it, Bee?", Serenity asked.

"Well, it's not exactly my dream job.", Bumblebee replied. "Well, at least your with Bulkhead. I mean, you two have really bonded, and having a good friend is worth more than glory.", Serenity said.

"Yeah, I guess your right. You have a really good friend?", Bumblebee asked her. "Well, as you know, my uncle wanted me to be more safe after what happened in the dojo.", Serenity replied.

She then looked down afterwards, sad at the lost of her teacher and friend since Prowl left. "So, I have been able to spend more time with my oldest friends, in training at the Elite Guard.", Serenity continued.

"Who are they?", Bumblebee asked. "Well... your going to hate me for one of them. But, I'm kinda forced to be with him, Sentinel-", Serenity replied.

"Your stuck with commander meteor chin?! Scrap, and I though I had it bad. Wait, he's one of your friends?", Bumblebee said, shocked. "I wouldn't say friend exactly, but I have to hang out with him. But, I prefer to hang out with Elita 1 and Optimus.", Serenity said.

"So, are they in the Elite Guard?", Bumblebee asked. "Yeah. But, hey! Lets not talk about them right now. I bet I can beat you back to entrance of the cave by a astro click.", Serenity said, while transforming.

"Oh, it's on.", Bumblebee said, while transforming. As they raced, Bumblebee beat her to the exit.

"Ha! You just go to admit it, Princess. I'm the fastest thing on wheels.", Bumblebee said. Serenity then pushed him a little.

"Fine. I'll admit it, your the fastest thing on wheels.", Serenity said. She then looked up at the moon.

"It's going to be morning soon, I better get going before they send a search party for me.", Serenity said. "Same place and time next week?", Bumblebee asked.

"Yeah, bring Bulkhead with you. I miss the old lug.", Serenity replied. Serenity landed close to the cave entrance and quickly brought out her wand. 

She inched her way over to the entrance and peaked in. No body was in the entrance. 

'Okay, Serenity. Keep your wits about you, don't let the fear take control...', Serenity thought. She then took a look around. 

'Okay. He could be outside somewhere, or he could be deeper in the cave...', Serenity thought. She felt a chill run down her spine, as Serenity heard a voice echo out of the cave. 

"Don't worry, sweetheart, there's no ambush. Where's the sport in that? I don't want to kill you anyway, but I knew you would come here alone.", Cyclonus said, stepping out from a corner of the cave. Serenity was running threw the streets, she had to hurry and hide, as another Elite Guard patrol was coming by. 

'Sweet Cybertron! If my uncle finds out I snuck out again...', Serenity thought, but were cut off, as a giant servo grabbed her and pulled her into the alley. Serenity was trying to scream, until she saw who it was, Bulkhead. 

"Sneaking out again?", Bulkhead asked. "You could say that, thanks for the save.", Serenity replied. 

"You know he's just trying to protect you.", Bulkhead said. "I know, Bulkhead, but he's a little over protective. Ever since my mother...", Serenity said, but was cut off trailed off. 

"Hey, you know what makes me feel better when I miss the Energon farm?", Bulkhead asked. "What?", Serenity asked him. 

"Breaking stuff.", Bulkhead replied. "What do you have in mind?", Serenity asked, as Bulkhead lead her down the alley further. 

"What do have there, bot?", a male voice asked them. A strange bot, who looked kind of like a gangster, walked over a bunch of other bots behind him. 

"A friend.", is all Bulkhead said, as he stepped closer to Serenity. "Huh, a pretty one at that.", the bot said, stepped closer. 

"How about we take her off your hands for you?", the boy asked. "Never!", Bulkhead said, slamming his servo into the bot and Serenity took out her wand and started blasting the others. 

"That's the princess!", one of the others said, before transforming and running away and the others followed. "Well, we did break some stuff.", Serenity said, as she looked down the alley. 

"Well, I was just thinking of punching a few garbage cans.", Bulkhead laughed. "Hey, look at this!", Serenity said, as she took some pieces of trash and made a picture of her and Bulkhead. 

"Looks like you can make some things from the ruins left
