The Three Main Heroes, Walter and Thomas arrive back at the main station in City 17, where Noo-Noo and Brum were waiting for them. "Glad you made it, and it's a pleasure to finally meet you Thomas." said Noo-Noo. "Thank you." smiled Thomas, as he watched everyone climb out of his cab, and Agumon jumped off his boiler. 

"Say Noo-Noo," said Walter. "While we were at the Prospekt, both Thomas was that spider engine we've been talking about. But apparently, Tinky Winky is infected too... only for a short period of time though." "Yeah, and I already assumed that it was the infected custard that slipped inside of me." Tinky Winky added. Noo-Noo thought deeply about it, till he had a plan. "Hmm... tell you what, while we work on a cure for both you and Thomas, I'd like you to go to a new area. It's called the Quarantine Zone, and we figured out that you heroes might find some information that could be useful to stop The Announcer."

"Sounds like a plan." Monika replied, "Okay everyone, let's roll." As Brum rocked from side to side, wishing Thomas and The Heroes good luck, everyone climbed back into Thomas' cab, leaving Walter with Noo-Noo and Brum. And with a quick whistle from Thomas, they set off.

Even if Thomas and the others tried their best to hide it, they couldn't deny that they were kind of nervous about going to the place during the journey, but before they knew it, they had arrived, as Thomas stopped right next to another train, and was given bad memories of the place. Everyone looked around through the mist that had lifted as soon as they showed up, and once they looked at the entrance to the main building, they noticed words written in blood. It read "Quarantine Zone: do NOT enter." however the word "Quarantine" was crossed out and replaced with "New Born" instead... and with that, the Heroes bravely went inside. 

If there was one word they could describe the place, it would be decaying. Dead zombies and Headcrabs lay everywhere and some of them were even stuck in some substance that they didn't dare step on. "What kind of sick joke is this?" Agumon asked. "I don't know," answered Monika. "but we must keep going, no matter how much we don't like this place." "I don't like it much either," Tinky Winky added. "it's so nasty down here!" He was right, and the entire place just keeps getting worse as they kept on walking. 

As the heroes went further into the building, they suddenly heard something. Agreeing to stay silent, they slowly continue looking around till they saw something that made them sick to their stomach. It was a New Born, stuck to the substance and feasting on a Headcrab. 

Monika tried her best not to vomit, while the other two just stared in shock and they quickly and quietly kept going till they were far away from the New Born and it's dinner.

The Heroes finally got to a room and start to rest there for a bit, and they still couldn't believe what they had to see. Monika was lucky enough not to puke, but both Agumon and Tinky Winky were still trying to hold it in. "Can we please just get out of this disgusting place?!" asked Agumon. "Not till we find something that could be useful around here." Tinky Winky replied, as he looked around and ended up seeing another dead Headcrab on the wall. "Hold on guys, I found something!" called Monika, while she took out her phone and took a quick picture of some kind of map.

"Now that's a clever idea." Agumon said. "We could use the map to get a better understanding of the place!" "I know I could do with that." added Tinky Winky. "Glad I've thought of that, now come on let's keep looking around." So with that, Monika, Tinky Winky and Agumon continue to look around the place, hoping to get out of there as quickly as possible.

Meanwhile, Thomas was still standing next to the train, with the driver and fireman keeping him company, and while grateful, he felt scared and alone. Suddenly, he saw a New Born slowly walking towards him in the distance, screaming loudly. "Cinders and ashes!" cried Thomas. But before it had a chance to strike at him and his crew, the New Born gets shot by an unknown source. The gunshot echoed through the Quarantine Zone, as soon as the heroes finally exit out of the building. "What was that?" asked Tinky Winky. "I don't know." answered Monika, while Tinky Winky tried to look through the mist, but only saw Thomas and a shadowy figure walking towards him.

"Are you alright?" the Metrocop asked. Thomas raised an eyebrow, he had heard what some Metrocops sounded like when he was in City 17, but this one was different, not to mention the body shape. "Oh, umm... yeah, I'm okay. So you're not going to kill me?"  "No. I just kind of noticed how lonely you are, trust me, I know what it feels like... I used to be on top of the world back when I was in high school, but after all that, no one seems to acknowledge me anymore..."

"...I know that feeling all too well." Thomas said sadly, after a short silence. "You do?" "I guess. Everyone back then used to look up to me, I've seen the world and I have so many friends back home. But these days, ever since some changes were made to my TV show, not a lot of people want to travel on me anymore." As Thomas said all of that, he shamefully stared down at his buffers, while visions of himself as a cartoon came into his smokebox. Unknown to both him and the Metrocop, Tinky Winky had been listening to the conversation, while Monika and Agumon were busily chatting behind him. "What are they talking about?" he thought. "...I'm- I'm sorry to hear what you're going through." The Metrocop soon said, as it slowly reached to the mask and takes it off, and then a small blue animal jumped onto the Metrocop's shoulder.

Thomas was quite surprised, he didn't expect the Metrocop to be a woman, let alone have a pet with her. "Oh... uh, so you got a name?" "Yeah, the name's Oishi. Oishi Kawaii, and this is my pet Noodles." "...huh, well nice to meet you both. I guess... my name is Thomas."

Suddenly, the mist began to fade away, and everyone heard the sounds of New Borns screaming and coming towards the two groups. "Oh crap, run!" called Agumon, as he, Monika and Tinky Winky began running towards Thomas, while Oishi and Noodles jumped into his cab before them. "Who are you?!" asked Monika, once the Three Main Heroes climbed in. "I'll explain later," Oishi replied. "We need to get out of there! And you, purple one." "Oh umm, yes?" "Take this." And she handed over her gun to Tinky Winky. "But, I don't know how to use it!" "Trust me, under these circumstances, you're gonna have to get used to using a gun."

So after Thomas' driver opened the regulator, his wheels spun as fast as possible and then charged towards some New Borns, running them over, blood flying everywhere. And all the while, Tinky Winky starts practicing with the gun, and begins to shoot, as everyone continues their escape. Little did anyone know, however, was that another creature was staring down at them on top of one of the buildings.
