The spider engine continued to stare down at everyone, with a massive grin on his face, his eyes glowing red and his teeth razor sharp. Everyone stared at the engine, who's name is actually Thomas from the driver, weren't sure what to do and deeply shaken. However unknown to them, The German Doctor had a wonderfully awful idea behind their back.

"Move, Schnell!" called The German Doctor suddenly. Everyone turned to him, surprised that he would help them for a change, but they all decided to do so anyway, with The German Doctor behind them and Thomas jumped onto the floor and started to chase after them. Running down the hallway where they were before, they stopped in front of another gate where the hall ended. "Oh no, it's locked!" cried Tinky Winky. But then right behind Thomas, everyone saw The German Doctor laughing, as he shut the gate behind them and ran off to find The Announcer. "That German bastard!" yelled Agumon.

Then suddenly, everybody stared at Thomas, as his spider legs start to sink into his body, his face gets pushed back, and all the while, his growls turn into a scream and his demonic whistling was slowly returning to it's normal pitch. After all of that, Thomas had reverted back to the way he was, and looked around at Tinky Winky, Agumon, Monika, Walter and his own crew and asked only one thing. "...what just happened?"

Meanwhile, The German Doctor entered Warden's Office, full of excitement as he found The Announcer. "I've trapped them my lord, I've tricked them and trapped them around the cell block with that tank engine with them!" "Fascinating..." The Announcer said, "Great job German Doctor, now I would like you to call in The Combine and take care of them!" "Yes sir!" answered The German Doctor with a salute, and then he pushed a button and made a call for the Combine soldiers outside the Prospekt. "Combines! We have trapped the heroes, come get them!" With that being said, the Combine soldiers make their way inside, holding their weapons.

Thomas continued to stare at the heroes, Walter and his own driver and fireman. He couldn't quite remember what fully happened, but he was glad his crew were okay. "So you're telling us that you don't remember how you got here?" asked Monika, "I'm afraid not..." replied Thomas. "The only thing I can remember was getting knocked out by something and the next thing I know, I wake up somewhere far away from my home and injected by some kind of needle." "This is very confusing." Agumon said, and then everyone was interrupted by the gates opening.

"Look, the gates are opening!" called Thomas' fireman, as he pointed at them. "We can finally get out of here!" But their luck immediately shattered, as The Combine ran up to everyone and surrounded them.

Suddenly by this point, Thomas began shaking in pain internally, but he wasn't the only one. Tinky Winky started to feel the pain as well, as he fell onto his knees. "Are you both okay?" asked Monika in alarm. "No I'm not!" Tinky Winky groaned, "Must've be the infected custard that slipped into my mouth when The German Doctor captured me...!" "What?!" Agumon said, "Then what are we supposed to do?" "Ju-just stay back, please!" cried Thomas, "I think it's happening again!" Everyone did just that, as Thomas became the spider engine once more, and Tinky Winky screamed as he grew in size, gained muscles and his face deformed into some kind of monster.

Agumon, Monika, Walter and Thomas' crew stared in shock, not having a single clue on what to do with their now infected friends. However, Agumon suddenly got an idea and rushed in front of Tinky Winky and Thomas. "Pepper breath!" he yelled, before spitting a huge fireball at The Combine, knocking them out and starting running out of the hallway. "Quick, let's get the hell out of here!!!" As soon as he said that, Thomas and Tinky Winky started to chase after Agumon, with the others behind the two.

Realizing that the heroes were heading towards the exit around the back, The German Doctor growled, as he quickly pressed a button in the office to gather more soldiers. "COMBINES, THE HEROES ARE ESCAPING!!!" he yelled. As soon as the heroes ran out, they saw more Combine soldiers running towards them. Agumon digivolved into Greymon, and pushes them through, while The Combine tried to shoot at Tinky Winky and Thomas, but it proved to be useless, because Tinky Winky was punching through them, while Thomas was feasting on them. And when the two looked up, they saw Monika, Walter and Thomas' crew catching up to Greymon, and they went after them, attacking more Combines in their way.

Soon everyone was above the wall barrier, their chance to finally escape, but as soon as everyone turned back, they saw that Tinky Winky and Thomas had reverted back to normal. Walter helped Tinky Winky up, while Greymon had to go back and pick up Thomas, since he couldn't really move without any rail tracks. Because of his size, Greymon found that picking Thomas up with his own hands was quite easy, and the two followed everyone else as they jumped over the barrier and slid down the embankment, making a run for it afterwards.

It took a very long time, but they soon arrived around a rail bridge around the coast. Greymon was exhausted from having to carry Thomas all the way there, and even placing him back on the tracks. "God, my back is killing me!" he groaned. "Suppose it proves I ain't no toy." replied Thomas cheekily. 

As soon as Greymon changed back to Agumon, he climbed onto Thomas' boiler and rested on his back. While the driver and fireman were building up their engine's fire, Walter walked up to Tinky Winky, who was sitting on Thomas' footplate. "Can't believe we all got away from that." he said, "though we might have to work on a cure for you two back in the lab." "You got that right." agreed Tinky Winky. "And we've finally got ourselves a bit of transport!" Monika added. "I'm just glad to be useful." smiled Thomas.

Eventually, Thomas' fire was burning well and everyone climbed into his cab, he felt a bit cramped but at the same time, he didn't mind, he was just glad he found some new friends to help out with what was going on around him. Soon enough, the driver opened the regulator and they set off towards City 17, where the Three Main Heroes and Walter knew that Noo-Noo and Brum would be waiting for them, with more tasks in hand.
