I opened my eyes to see Aomine gone, I sighed as I pushed myself up and touched my forehead.

What happened last-

I remembered jumping into his arms and remembered him climbing in bed next to me. Remembering how the moon shone down on his soft-expression face.

Oh, yeah...that.

I removed the blanket from my legs, feeling the slight cold air hit my warm legs, making me shiver. I brought my feet to the ground in the morning-sunlit room. I took strides towards the door.

I observed my surroundings; only a few people were awake. I stepped down the stairs as I held my forehead, feeling like there was a splitting headache. I was about to lose my balance when I caught myself, hanging on the railing.

That was close...

I sighed and went down the rest of the stairs. I walked slowly over to the kitchen of the cottage and got myself a glass of water. I drank it all and put it in the sink, politely washing it afterwards. As of all, it was common manners and courtesy.

After washing the cup, I dried my hands. When I looked up, I saw Aomine and a few others hauling logs of wood and branches over to the centre of the backyard.

I walked over to the glass back door and opened it, greeted by a couple of my classmates.

"Mornin', (First Name)." Aomine greeted with a smirk. I lowered my head a bit, still making the eye-contact I had with him, "Morning..."

"M-Morning, (Last Name)-chan!" (Random Guy's Name) dropped the log on Aomine's foot to wave at me with both hands.  "M...Morning..."

Aomine recoiled into a ball, with of course, his foot still under the log and sent a glare at (Random Guy's Name). "Oi, (Random Guy's Name)! Pay attention to what you're doing!" Aomine hissed, making him flinch and grab the log again.

I sighed at the idiocy of the two and went back up the stairs.

"Hey, (Last Name)-chan! Where were you last night? We were so worried!" Momoi pouted, grabbing you by the shoulders. She shook you and then hugged you. And then released you.

Wha-

"Oh, never mind that! There was also a room that was locked for some reason. Dai-chan was gone too!" My cheeks felt hot as she kept yapping that I was gone, "Did you two do something together~?"

I jolted as the heat from my cheeks went to the tips of my ears. "N-No! Nothing like that at all! He wasn't with me!" I shouted, taking a step away from the stairs. She smirked victoriously and hugged me.

"Anyways~ C'mon! All of us are going, as in the girls~ Are going to the jacuzzi, wanna come?" I opened my mouth, about to refuse. "Momoi, I don't-"

"C'mon!" She grabbed my arm and yanked me into a room.

Eventually, I sat on the edge of the jacuzzi while everyone else sat inside of the water-jetted pool. "Hm~ (Last Name)-chan is no fun..." Momoi pouted, looking over her shoulder. I sighed and shrugged my shoulders, "I didn't want to come in the first place, you held me down while you changed me."

It was supremely embarrassing to be stripped down in front of five other girls.

"Well~ It wasn't my fault you tried to run away," she paused for a moment, counting something, "for over ten times, you wouldn't have been stripped."

You're the most awkward person I've...ever met.

"Hey! Let's go with them!" Some of the girls in the jacuzzi shouted, pointing towards the guys who were running into the heavily forested area. After all, there was a lake with the kayaks and paddle boats on the other side.

I sat in a paddle boat with three other girls who I assumed were in the other first-year class since none of them were familiar to me.

Some of the guys went inside the one-person kayak as others swam freely in the lake. Following others around.

I sat quietly as the other three giggled with each other. Two of the three paddled in the front as the one of the three and I sat in the back, looking around.

It was quiet, nice and peaceful to begin with. The sunset was absolutely beautiful. The orange and red complimented each other very well as so the purple and blue blended. Not making any harsh collision with colours. I guess I never really thought of the sunset when it was around.

It's the little things in life you enjoy.

I heard giggles from behind as I watched slowly. Slowly in slow-motion that the girl next to me was pushed in the water.

Wait! Don't tell me-

I felt a push on my back before I felt the cold water touch my skin.

I was pushed in.

I swam up quickly to get to the surface as I frantically tried to stay up on top. But, I felt myself slowly sinking as I tried hard, the energy in me wearing out. The wasted energy I tried to keep because I couldn't swim.

"W-Wait..."

" ...I-I c-can't..."

"...swim."

I felt myself sink into the deep dark water as the oxygen in my lungs escaped through struggled breaths. I heard the cries of the girls who pushed me in.

But, before losing consciousness I felt someone grab my body.

Pleas of which were not obeyed.

Which came to a result of things that kill.

It is of whom comes to help.

Can truly save,

the lonely soul that fades.
