Four hours later

Currently, Elias was sitting in the data archives of the White House, sitting in a chair with his legs on the desk. After he and Cecilia had finished their tour of the White House, they had decided to go and do their own things. With the first thing Elias did was find the data archives and download everything he could get his hands on. Glancing down at the screen, it displayed that twenty-five percent of the data had been downloaded and it'll be another three hours before it finished downloading

Sighing to himself, Elias tossed his head back as began to spin in his chair. Counting every time he completed a full revolution,

"En, to, tre, fire, fem, seks, syv, åtte, ni, to."

Elias had made it to one hundred when Cecilia walked by and saw Elias spinning. Stopping, Cecilia said,

"Hva gjør du".(What are you doing)

Stopping so he faced Cecilia, Elias replied,

"Hvordan ser det ut som jeg gjør."(What does it look like I'm doing)

Crossing her arms and looking directly into Elias eyes,

"Å være dum."(being stupid)

Cecilia's eyes then wandered to the screen next to Elias. Her face changed to a disappointed expression as she looked back at Elias,

"Are you kidding me."

Cocking his head to the side, Elias said,

"What do you mean by that?"

Gesturing with her hand to the screen,

"You're literally downloading government files, I think you know what I mean."

Putting his hands together like a cartoon villain, Elias said,

"But dear sister, these have been for unattended thirty years. I'm certain they won't mind if I take a look at them."

Approaching the control desk, Cecilia said,

"That's not the point."

Seeing Cecilia move, Elias used his chair to put himself between Cecilia and the control desk. When she was close enough Elias began kicking at her, forcing Cecilia to dodge or be kicked out of the room.

After several minutes of their charade, Elias suddenly said,

"Have you thought about why we're here?"

Stopping her assault, Cecilia said,

"What do you mean by that?"

Readjusting himself properly in his chair, Elias said,

"Think about it, why would master bring us here. Sure it's a pretty place and had a lot of historic value and knowledge, but master wouldn't take us here just to sightsee."

"And what do you think the reason is?"

"My best guess is we have some sort of test and master is waiting for us to figure it out. Letting us explore whole we do so."

"That would make sense. Well, no time like the present, off to master we go."

Leaving the room, Elias followed soon after as the made their way to Asuka.

Asuka POV

Feeling the presence of both Elias and Cecilia getting closer, I opened my eyes to see the two of them walking towards me. Getting up from where I was I said,

"So have the two of you figured it out?"

Walking up to me, Elias was the first to speak,

"This is supposed to be a test, right master?"

"That would be correct."

Cecilia spoke next,

"So what is this test supposed to be, are we supposed to find something and bring it back to you?"

"No, nothing like that. I wouldn't send you out on a hunt without any directions now would I."

The two of them looked to each other, before they nodded in agreement. As I began to walk away from them I said,

"This is rather unorthodox for me. Instead of a test of knowledge," summoning the Tome of Origin into my hand and turning around to face them, "rather it's a test of your skills."

Backing up, the two of them looked at me in shock as I continued,

"This will be my final lesson with the two of you, if you manage to pass, then you are free to do whatever you wish. If you fail, then we will just pick off where we left off."

Looking at each other, the two of them summoned their weapons, spear for Elias and a time for Cecilia, and got into their respective stances. Opening the Tome, I said,

"If we're all ready, then let us began."

3rd person POV

As soon as Asuka said those words a portal opened by behind him and a volley of red cubes came flying out. Both of them dashed to the side, avoiding the cubes as the bounced off the ground and eventually dissipating. Rushing forward, Elias hurled his spear at Asuka, who in response created a barrier to block the spear. Leaping into the air, Elias caught the spear in mid-air before he began charging it with lightning.

Once he was close enough, Elias sung his spear in a downwards strike as it connected with Asuka's barrier. As soon as the spear made contact with the barrier, electricity discharged from the spear as lightning spread across the ground around them. Immediately after he landed, Elias swung his spear in an upwards strike, before immediately pivoting his body for a powerful thrust. All of the attacks connected with the barrier, however, Asuka had side stepped the trust and was already preparing a counterattack.

A mechanical fist came out of the Tome as it connected with Elias torso, sending him back multiple meters. Catching himself, Elias immediately swept his spear in arcing motion as a wheel of lighting came from the spear. Simultaneously, multiple discs cam from behind Elias, all aimed at Asuka. Slamming the Tome to the ground, it enlarged as Asuka used it to destroy the discs and stop the movement of the wheel.

Cecilia who was close to fifty meters, now with all her preparations ready, began firing multiple beams of elemental magic at Asuka. Charging his spear with lightning, Elias rushed at Asuka, creating a dangerous situation for Asuka as he prepared to counter. Creating an orb surrounded by all sides by squares, Asuka sent it forward, causing Elias to halt his rush to block the orb. Allowing Asuka to easily deflect and absorb the beams.

With the energy he absorbed from the beams, Asuka fired multiple green cubes at both Elias and Cecilia. Using his spear, Elias destroyed the cubes fired at him, with Cecilia doing the same with a rod of lightning. With both of them preoccupied, Asuka performed to spells. Creating multiple pages around Elias, and multiple flaming red cubes at Cecilia.

Cecilia managed to prevent the cubes from reaching her by creating a mirror that reflected the cubes away. Elias on the other hand was not so lucky, managing to dodge the most of the beams that came out of the pages, the last redirection of the beam hit Elias in the stomach as he was sent into the air.

Capitalizing off of this, Asuka put the Tome out in front of him, as light emerged from the pages as two mechanical hands emerged. Firing from the hands was a giant purple orb surrounded by red light and lines. As the cube traveled in the direction of Elias, Cecilia attempted to redirect the orb with a blast off wind magic. Unfortunately, the wind did nothing as the cube continued on its path and slammed into Elias, sending flying all the way to where Cecilia was.

Slamming into the ground, Elias slid on his stomach all the way to where he was next Cecilia. Picking himself off the ground, Elias said, 

"We're getting nowhere like this, master clearly has the edge over us." 

Firing off a volley of discs, Cecilia said, 

"I can clearly see that, and what wonderful idea do you have." 

"I was thinking we hit him with the strongest moves we have." 

Looking at Elias, Cecilia said,

"Seriously, that's your plan. That's the most cliche thing you could've come up with." 

"Well I'm sorry, do you have a better idea!" 

Sighing, Cecilia stopped her volley of projectiles as raised her hand up as she began condensing   deep red magical energy into the form of a orb. Gripping the spear by its shaft with both hands, Elias drew his arms back as he began to charge the spear with lightning. Slowly, lightning began to radiate from the spear as it started to create a field in front of Elias. Simultaneously, the ball began to grow in size as lightning, wind and fire began to swirl around the orb. 

Now to the point where both of their clothes and hair were being blown back by the force of their attacks. Going first, Cecilia brought arm down, sending the orb hurling it in the direction of Asuka as the air parted around the orb. Immediately after, Elias dashed forward with his spear in front of him, lightning erupting from the ground along the path Elias took. 

Seeing all of this, Asuka placed two of his fingers to the pages of the Tome and pulled a glowing white orb. Holding out the orb in front of him, it grew in size and turned a sickly gray, as black light began to emit from the ball. Now with the orb in the palm of his hand, Asuka waited for the right moment as Cecilia's orb and Elias closed in on him. 

When the orb was only few feet away from him, Asuka crushed the orb in his palm. Causing time to stop for a few second before a blinding light fill surrounding area. When the light reached Cecilia's orb, it was torn apart as it broke down to nothing before it could reach Asuka. Once the light reached Elias the lightning that surrounded him dissipated as a force slammed into him as he was sent flying back. 

Once the light had died down, Cecilia looked up to see Elias flying at her. Crashing into each other, Elias and Cecilia rolled a couple of meters before coming to a stop. Closing the Tome, Asuka dissipated it as he walked over to where Elias and Cecilia were. Getting up first, Cecilia pushed herself off the ground and dusted herself off. Kneeling next to Elias who had managed to prop himself up and said, 

"Well that didn't work out well." 

"I think I could tell." 

"I guess this was better than getting our asses beat for thirty minutes." 

"Keep talking, you weren't the one getting thrown fifty meters." 

 Pushing himself off the ground, Elias went to retrieve his spear that had been knocked away from the blast. Standing herself back up, Cecilia looked to Asuka who had just reached where they were. Staying silent, Asuka waited for Elias to return when he said, 

"Well, you two passed. With flying colors as well."
